Lovely and friendly cafe with beautiful surroundings,has what you need and fair prices.

Arrived at 15:55 and it was closed

Expensive the food is nice but it poor quality for the prices charged. We could not get eggs and £8.30 for 2 toasted sandwiches sausage on toast and sausage and bacon on toast, It is an ideal location but because it is staffed by volunteers they lack urgency when dealing with customer's and we wanted our butties.It was clean in the seating area, but I would not go again and we only live at long lane, it needs a bit of staff training.

Can't get a bacon and butty. No eggs . My local park, eggs is a must for me

We love the pavilion Cafe, been today, food is great, staff are hard working and lovely. Recommend the cheese and onion pie and potato hash and toasted teacakes, all food is great. One of our go to places love the park too

Attempted to go in for breakfast about 9.10 today, saw a sign saying cash only so walked all the way back to car to get some. When we finally got back despite two female staff and a gent working got completely ignored as they chatted amongst themselves not even a simple acknowledgement to say they’d be with us shortly, after standing there awkwardly for a few minutes we left empty handed. Rude and ignorant staff, clearly forgotten they need customers to sustain there jobs!!!

Very nice but of lunch, enjoyed the atmosphere and good service.

This place is on my regular walk through Chadderton Hall Park,always been a good place to catch a quick drink/coffee & watch the world go by. Always friendly,polite service wether your sitting inside or braving the summer out. Prices are reasonable, but make sure you take cash,as no card payments here. Small carpark close by/within the park,or use the lay-by .

Gone downhill big time. Used to make fresh pies and casseroles, now its Hollands pies, which i can get from tesco.

Had 2 cups of tea and 3 ice creams for the grandkids .lovely service.

A lovely place in a great park. The menu is basic but a good variety and very well cooked and presented. Cream scones with real clotted cream were beyond delicious today PLUS a bowling match for entertainment. A genuine British treasure. Fantastic!!

Another odd establishment that takes cash only. Very embarrassing when you only have cards. When will the government stop this practice which can only be done for tax dodging purposes if I'm honest

Lovely little cafe situated in Chadderton Hall Park. There's indoor seating and also plenty of outdoor seating which is nice in warmer weather. Dog's are only welcome in the outside area in winter but it's sheltered from rain via canopies. They kindly provide fleecy blankets for people to use which is very thoughtful but a couple of heaters would be fantastic for us many dog walkers who help keep the place going in winter(pretty please 😁). The cafe has a great drink and food menu and also a choice of specials. They also have a nice selection of cakes and ice-cream/lollies. All served by friendly, efficient staff.I find the prices very reasonable and my friend and i look forward to our veggie breakfast every week and my dog enjoys his sausage which they cook specifically for dogs (ask for a doggy sausage). A walk round this lovely park then a visit to the pavilion cafe for a drink and a bite to eat is highly recommended by me. UPDATE 2023 Unfortunately this cafe no longer does food. Just small bites like toasties etc.

The cafe has totally changed its menu and not for the better. Very limited choice now and seems very expensive from what it once was. Shame as we always used to stop off for a bite to eat while visiting the park.

We had a cheese and ham toastie and it's the best one I have had the staff were friendly & helpful.

Such a shame the food isn't like it was, still good for a coffee.

Cheap frozen sausages at a high price,no longer serve breakfast, normal bottle drinks are to expensive also, staff friendly and helpful

Good to visit for a brew & food after dog walking duties around the park. (Beware letting your dog have sausages as it may want to return on a regular basis)

Really decent cafe that serves some lovely meals hot & cold. They usually only take cash payments which can be a bit frustrating but it's a very good cafe.

First time here, had BLT . Was very busy but very friendly and very quick service!. Plenty to choice from! Would recommend.

Went to the cafe today and bearing in mind with covid over the past couple of years they would only accept cash so after my lovely walk in the park - (the park is lovely and green and clean) I went to Costa where I got a lovely coffee and tea cake instead. Paid by card, much more hygienic, also quicker!!

Loved it at the Pavilion Cafe, great selection of food, ice cream and drinks. Cheese and onion pie is a great choice. The staff were helpful and very kind. Well worth a visit.

Excellent choice available and well staffed. We had hot drinks and a cake but loads of loads of choice of meals, breakfasts etc.

Arrived at 13:55 to be told they were closing. Notice on door said closed at 14:30. How can you run a business like that? We won’t be going back .

Just had a lovelyeat pie and red cabbage. I would definetly recommend this dish. It did come out very hot so I had to wait a little before I could enjoy. This is also nice and big and could be shared 😀

Myself my sister and mum love going to Pavilion cafe. The choice on the menu is unbelievable and very tasty.

Visited Cafe today and not impressed. Steak and Onion sandwhich was dissapointing, steak dry and hard and also cheese in cheeseburger hard, suspect re heated or microwaved, no proper apology when complained

Very lovely staff. Food was prepared fresh & they accommodated to cooking for vegetarians away from the main grill. Be aware they didn't accept cards.

It's a nice cafe with friendly staff.

I am sorry to say that I was disappointed. In the past both myself & hubby have enjoyed going here & have had no problems, & have enjoyed the food. This time we asked for our cappuccinos to come with the food, they came early, I ordered a ham salad sandwich, it came with no salad at all, & my hubby had the meat & potato pie, although the portion was good, he didn't have any meat. Will give it 1 last try as we both feel these little businesses need our help at the minute. Fingers crossed 🤞this will be read & the cafe can get back to how it was.

Love coming to the Pavilion cafe when I go to the park. Food is soo good, can't wait to sit inside again and have my cooked breakfast, really missing it.
