Papa John's Pizza in Barnet

Need to sort out deliveries. Not much point using Uber to deliver, if they do multiple deliveries and don’t use ‘keep warm’ foil bags as pizzas are turning up cold. It’s no different to giving your riders 2x deliveries, the first being in Hampstead and the second being in East Finchley…. The rider goes past the shop and then delivers a cold pizza to East Finchley. Sort it out…🤷🏻‍♂️

In the last year they've switched to using Uber to deliver. The drivers typically take ages to pick up the order and then don't store it in a heated delivery bag so it arrives late and cold. If they used their own drivers again it'd be fine but as it stands it's a waste of time ordering delivery from them

They never answer the phone. My son pizza was 1.45 min late What is going on? I was at work and his nanny was calling me. I hope evrything ok

What a rip off, pizza looks nothing like it’s meant to as hardly anything on it but cheese and a couple of bits of olive , should be closed down, I escalated it to head office as it happens too often here, 7 out of 10 times it’s piss poor and you’d get better in Tesco for £3, here’s a what you buy and what you get photo

How does it take an hour to cut a pizza?

I ordered through Uber and my drink in my order never arrived, after I called the driver I was told that shop did not give him the drink, then called the shop and they said they did, one blaming the other, in the end I have a house full of people and an incomplete order which no one is bothered to try to help, only interested in blaming the other person! No thought for the customer.

There is nothing to sit but staff were very nice and polite

Spoke to a lady on the phone to make the order my placed properly. Was very kind and helpful in confirming my order and giving me an ETA

Food came super quick in 25mins and on a Saturday night. Food was tasty and fresh. Will order again.

When it comes to pizza 🍕, papa johns is the best choice. Never disappointed!

I ordered to pick up a pizza deal including a bbq chicken pizza and some buffalo hot wings. Once returning to eat I sat down opened the wings and the sauce was missing we rang the restaurant to complain and they said that isn’t possible I then opened my bbq chicken pizza to find no bbq sauce. We immediately asked for a refund at this point and the person over the phone said even though we have photos of the food missing everything his manager was on holiday for the day so no refunds would be able to take place unless we came back the next day. I will be going back today to find the manager and let them know what happened. Because it very much came across as lying over the phone to cover themselves. Super upset with the service and would not recommend wasting your money ! Just for reference the chicken was only eaten to see if there was any spice to it. And I can confirm it was the plainest piece of chicken that ever lived !

Lovely pizza, polite staff. Made to feel very welcome and happy for me to hang out for a couple of hours while my daughter was at a concert nearby. Restaurant was busy but service was good.

Wish I could give less than 1 star. Disgusting behaviour from the person "responsible" for the store but not the manager that also refused to provide his name. We will be filing an official complain as I do not accept disrespectful behaviour. I will not be ordering from here again and I wouldn't suggest anyone else to order from here either.

Place steals money and doesn’t deliver food ordered at late times takes orders then they eat it themselves or something 2nd time 40 pound order not delivered scamming thieves

Polite staff. But need to improve in cleanliness. Cashier preparing pizzas, didn’t wash hands before touching the toppings or needing the dough straight from receiving payment. No gloves worn either or mask, she was on the phone talking and saliva flying out of her mouth. Honestly disgusting. The delivery guys touching the sough and food straight from coming back from deliveries. PLEASE IMPROVE I like papa johns.

Ordered a pizza on New Year's Eve. My partner and I didn't see in the New Year as we were not drinking. My partner woke up at 11.45pm and was sick followed by me being sick 10mins later. Only thing we had was the pizza. Not a great start to the New Year and no longer a fan of double pepperoni pizza!

Pizza’s always arrive hot and delivery is pretty quick to where I live. I’m approx 1.5 miles away. Always order through the app, and like the ability to track my order on the website. I much prefer their pizzas to Domino’s. And my customer service experience has been really good too. Thanks to the team at this branch and keep up the good work. Would recommend the hot piri piri chicken poppers, jalapeño bites & their cheesy garlic bread is the best!

I love the pizza. What I don’t love is the delivery drivers dumping the pizza box on the wet ground outside my door every time they deliver. I am fully aware covid is a thing but why not put down an empty cardboard box to put my pizza box on, like dominos do? Instead I have a contaminated pizza box on my table or sofa. Disgusting.

Horrible pizza..total waste of money.Had ordered 2 Veg pizzas and both were horrible.Really regretted buying from this place.Being such a big brand name it was totally disappointing and would never again order in my life .The small Pizza shops are 100 times better atleast they are value of money and good taste. We had to throw this in bin..horrible.

I am pleased with my order. Placed 9:30PM and got it delivered in less than 30 mins. The dough was cooked through well and the pizza was delicious. Papa John’s is American style pizza so if you are after Italian/Neapolitan pizza then look elsewhere.

Orderd at around 8pm nothing came till. 22.40pm and was cold where had been sitting will never use this brunch again and did not wanna know.

Reliably delivers fast, hot, delicious Pizza!

They actually delivered this pizza to me it was obviously dropped I am really unhappy that the driver actually gave this to me. I will be complaining to the franchise owner and papa John's tomorrow. I gave the pizza back to them they replaced it but to give this to a customer in the first place is bad customer service.

NEVER AGAIN!! - Horrible taste, both pizzas and chicken wings - Horrible client service. We ordered double topping, got just one. Tried to call them - useless.

Waited over an hour for delivery.they hanged up when rang three times. When i asked the delivery guy why did it take so lomg he just said yeah whatever. I live in the next street to the restaurant pretty abysmall really wont use again.

Family feast on the day of England v Scotland, we decided on taking up the 50% offer online and the food did not dissapoint. Margherita, Garden Party and a make your own, Garlic bread sticks, Jalapeno Poppers and cauliflower bites. Food was delivered quickly and tasted nice, would recommend reasonably priced and tasty.

Pizza is diabolical from here one star is a understatement to how bad it really is to be honest

Never had a Papa john’s pizza before and well never again . I ordered a vegetarian pizza the topping not fresh the taste of the pizza was not good .

I liked the pizzas, they are very large and have a good presentation, but the place is so small that you have to take the food home.

We always order from them. The pizza always arrives quickley, hot and fresh and the delivery men are always friendly. There are always good deals on the website. would 100% reccomend.

Very recently I delved into Papa John's despite so many years of having a great reputation of baking great pizzas. What I found was probably one of the best. Even better then their main rivals. Also their offers are better. The delivery is also under the 30 minute slot plus the pizza is still very warm and fresh. Highly recommended.

So... I was on the cab back from work and decided to order a Papa John’s. I ordered it through Deliveroo and Papa John’s accepted the order. However, 30 mins after accepting the order, they decided that it was too late and they had to close the restaurant. So, they cancelled the order and I was now on my way home after a hard day’s work, my pizza order being cancelled 30 mins after I placed it because someone decided it just wasn’t worth it. It’s funny how they can do this, but as a customer, I cannot cancel my order after 30 mins. Avoid at all costs. Unless you like having your food order being cancelled after 30 mins. In which case, I can put my kitchen up on Deliveroo and keep cancelling things all day long.

I ordered a pizza for a specific time and did not receive it. I was sent an email that there was a 'problem with my order' 6 minutes after my order was due. Tried calling them several times but no one picked up. I paid in advance so will have to go through the hassle of getting a refund. Terrible.

Pizza has taken 1 hour and 30 minutes to arrive on a Tuesday evening. It also came with the wrong sauces and is lukewarm. Terrible experience.

Ordered numerous times previously until tonight when they refused to speak to me on the phone having not delivered for an over an hour and cut me off mid-conversation. Will not be ordering anything from here again. AVOID!

Do not order! Food was slimy. Pizza had hardly any toppings and no cheese

Shocking service, they delivered pizza 40 mins after the promised time, it was cold. Then didn't answer the phone when tried to complain. Had to drive there with cold pizza and was told it was somebody else who has gone home that was responsible. Utter rubbish, worst franchise ever

We are based in north finchley. We order food from them. The driver who brought food was really rude. And aggressive. And asking for money just like company is running away. We called to shop and the manager was same as his driver and was not accepting. And started to shout on us. We do have recording what the driver said. Kindly do not order any food from them they are all useless. And service they provide is -100. Will definitely contact their head offic3 and give them all prove and witness. They should be sucked out from these company.

Sadly, although normally a fan of Papa if I wanted a takeaway pizza, I had a poor experience with these guys. To compound my sadness even after I worked how to complain and then had to chase a response the support was useless. Won't be spending money here again.

I often order the small Margherita pizza for my son and he loves it!

I used to order a lot. But to be honest they dont take care of long standing customers, pizza is greasy.. sometimes stuck to the lid & the wait is the longest around... also if you hate a delivery guy that stands there like a lemon when you dont tip order from here.

Tried this store 3 times overall and I have to say each time was worse than the previous one. Good luck finding any cheese on your pizza by the way. When ordering the cheese pizza with twice the extra cheese on top and it's still not enough to even cover the dough, it must be some sort of an achievement! On top of the pizza quality and since others mentioned the hygiene of this place, last time both of us got food poisoning. Enjoy!

Found what looked to be a body hair in the pizza we ordered. I seriously question their hygiene policy/practice. Do not recommend.

The worst Papa Johns I have ever come across. Terrible customer service. Be warned.

I called to tell staff that there was a bug in my pizza box that had crawled out when I had taken my second slice of pizza from the box. The staff representative quickly became argumentative and talked loudly over the top of me, telling me that he had no proof of a bug and if there really was one then I wouldn’t have eaten the pizza. I was taken aback by this as this is not the way to talk to a customer. I tried to explain again the situation but he kept talking more and more loudly over me. He eventually said that he would refund the cost of my pizza but only if I’d eaten no more than two slices. I told him my partner had eaten three slices but she was now feeling ill and didn’t trust that her pizza was sanitary. He said he would decide what to refund us when he saw the pizzas and would send a driver to pick them up. Later my partner called back to find out where the driver was. The same man answered the phone and said the driver would be an hour more. He started to argue with her that there was no proof of any bugs so we might not get any refunds. She explained that we are loyal customers who have never asked for a refund or made a complaint and we also have a video but he continued to talk loudly over her. She asked for his name and he said he as the store manager and his name was Hossein Dutt. the driver arrived to pick up the pizza and I showed him the video. He apologised and said he would relay this back to the store manager. He also said that the store manager’s name was actually Azar not Hussein. Its a week since this has happened but still they haven't refund our money!

I ordered from this place for the first time. The pizzas were just disgusting. Even though the delivery was quick, the pizzas were blend and didn't have any taste. The dips included with the pizzas are just horrible. I will never order from papa john's again.

Kids loved it. Papa J's has now moved up their pecking order ahead of domino's. Pick up deal of two extra large pizzas for £22 was good value. And Pizzas were ready on time when I arrived after 15 minutes. Website and pricing is irritating as there are so many different offers. That's probably the same for all pizza places.
