Never received my food employee on the phone was very rude

It's become expensive to eat for the variety offered. Same meals from years back. Desserts are non existent and only offer 1 variety at a time.

The quality of food is this place is rather poor. Selection poor. The sauces are predominantly starchy. Staff have no clue about customer service. You enter the restaurant and they stand aloof looking at you. Visited on Sunday and had a bout of running stomach after leaving. Too pricey for the slush they sell.

Food was good but the staff need to work on their attitude towards their people coming in and remember manners when i went up the bar to order a drink that idiot of a woman who served me didnt even remember please or thank you like she should of when manners cost nothing but my drinks did in future remember your manners or dont work again

Freezing cold, been like this the last 2/3 times we’ve ordered. Won’t order again here now as it used to be really nice but the 2nd/3rd time of freezing cold food is just shocking now. The only good thing was the delivery person was polite and nice

Been going to this place for years but not agian we were charged £10.50 for a one year old to eat prawn crackers and jelly, I complained on way in this was wrong but my partner had paid,there was 4 adults and a one year old I asked to speak to the manager a older woman came over but I was basically told tough she was very rude ,the food was tasteless all you could taste was salt ,the worst chinese I have had .I used to take my children there when they were young and my grandchildren .what load of rubbish now, no wonder it was quiet the manager I never seen do anything in all the time we were in there .the staff was the only saving grace

Extraordinarily poor service. Delivery arrived an hour late. Driver handed food and rushed off. Curry was sat at the bottom of the bag out of the container. Food was barely warm. Very disappointing service. When we contacted the restaurant we were told as the driver told them the food was fine when it was handed to us we were not entitled to a refund or have the food remade. We had to take the food back to the restaurant to show the condition it was in. There was no attempt at an apology from the restaurant. I’ve been a loyal customer to this business for many years but this experience tonight and the way we have been treated has made me want to take my business elsewhere. Clear they don’t care about their customers. STAY AWAY. If you want a decent Chinese, go to New Jen Changs in Merthyr. Much better.

Staff are so rude. Went in today and honestly the food was stale and minimal. The staff was incredibly rude and uninviting. Definitely will not return here.

Very arrogant lady on the till as we entered, no smile no pleasantries. We had with us two disabled clients with learning difficulties, one gets alittle overwelmed in a crowd and wouldn't eat a thing. Wrapped a few cocktail sausages and a few chips in a serviette to try her to eat outside of restaurant when we left. Arrogant lady on the till told us we couldn't take it outside, We explained she hadn't eaten a thing so if we couldn't take food out could we be reimbursed with her money but didn't get no refund. Made us all feel very uncomfortable. Will not return.

Polite friendly staff, plenty of dishes and sauces to choose from. Replenished til late even on a Sunday. Would definitely go again

Don't waste your money - miserable money grabbing owner who charges toddlers full price and gets staff to put buffet away 30 minutes before closing without asking customers if they want anything. Staff seem lovely but owner miserable and unfriendly Food warm and not exactly fresh either. Was a bit better when they were at the Red Dragon Centre; definitely down hill now. In short: go to Nando's.

The Just-eat app told us food had been delivered - wrong! I rang the restaurant who said it was with the driver, and should be with us immediately - wrong! By the time it arrived it had gone cold, so difficult to give an opinion on food quality. Poor service!

I’ve been to oriental gardens recently and did not enjoy it! I went with my partner and 10 month old and they tried charging us full price for her to eat too when she would have had 5 chips max saying that we can’t feed her from what we have on our dish. Then sat us directly infront of them and were keeping an eye to make sure we weren’t feeding her. While trying to eat our food they were then watching our every move putting me and my partner off! The food itself too wasn’t very nice and didn’t really taste of much and not much to choose from either.

Buffets are a bad idea at the best of times but we were very hungry and needed something fast so went in blindly. First off the cost was a bit of a shocker at over £20 each. The variety of food is great but the majority tastes oversalted, sugary and has corn starch sauce to goo it up. The duck wraps and the prawns were good and there's soft ice cream on tap so have to score it for that. Great service, not great atmosphere but it serves a purpose.

Was really looking forward to coming today as I'd worked myself for an all you can eat to only arrive with my just turned 1 year old, to be told id have to pay £8 for a plate for him as they "don't allow" shared plates.. So upon hearing this I was quite annoyed as I thought, how can they justify paying £8 for a baby? He wasnt allowed to have a mouthful from my plate as it would of been classed as shared. Don't get me wrong, if he was a 5 or 6 plus year old then id understand them charging for a "kids plate" but the fact he just turned one and doesn't have the big appetite as a "kid" would is appalling. I actually couldn't believe they can charge prices like that for babies!! Most places don't charge BABIES! and for any children UNDER 3.. crazy.

I arrived with lots of family in tow. Having a get together as I live in another country. Put out to find that the price per head rises by another £5 after 5 pm. Making it £20 per head. Not a great range to choose from. More for children than adults. Beer was watery. Ice cream was runny. Two young children with us, 4 and 2yrs old, were charged £15 each. Scandalous! I am still trying to remove the staining from my fingers that was caused by the red food colouring that was in the chicken and ribs. Not worth the money.

A pleasant enough dining experience but the place lacks atmosphere. Friendly staff. Buffet self service with a reasonable range of common oriental dishes. One nice aspect is how promptly the staff clear the tables. After each course, by the time you've been to collect your next course the use crockery has been removed. Great service.

Food was piping hot and half hour early. The food was amazing me and my partner were very happy with our order.

Spent just under £40. No freebies such as prawn crackers or poppadoms. Pork was very tough. It is a huge shame as I have eaten in and ordered out many times. At least once a month. And now the quality seems to have dropped. Hopefully it will get back to the great standard it normally is. Also no poppadoms

Been here few times over the years and honestly can't fault it. Can just walk in and have food infront of you within minutes. Arrived as the evening service started so they were bringing out everything fresh. They also options for kids such as chips, nuggets, sausages, ice cream etc. Desserts aswell absolutely cannot fault it I definitely ate my monies worth.

Worst place to visit. Lost my appetite as soon as I entered the restaurant. The grumpy lady was rude, not even a hello. Food looked like cooked yesterday and tasted horrible. Even fruits looked like they were cut days ago. Never ever coming back again. Such a waste of money.

It simply did not turn up ! We had to contact customer services for a refund and go buy McDonald’s. Never had an issue before.

Was a lovely treat for my birthday. Food was plentiful and freshly prepared. Service is prompt, and the place is very clean. The staff are very helpful. I have to say I don't understand the pricing rationale..when a child over 1.4m is counted as an adult!!?? but i suppose it is what it is. Their rules.. I would definitely return .
