I assume reviews all over the internet are his friends and family. First of all it's not the best Jamaican Nigerian food in Liverpool!!! Secondly it feels like your in the hospital waiting room, very plain and boring decor. Thirdly the food wasnt up to scratch and inedible, rice was yday ,chicken was tough, lacked in flavour, lamb was chewy and overall waste of money. Ox tale was from old elder meat. I've been to many jamaican restaurants in london and visited africa many times,no comparison. I don't see this cafe restaurant lasting long, give it till next year,it will close down. One suggestion the owner has arrogance and attitude, thinks he's something special but truth is he just barber at trade, even then he doesn't own it as he tells everyone 😂 He works for sol and he pays him, the shop doesn't even have any signage 15 years on,I assume he not legally meant to be trading or paying his and declaring his taxes to hmrc. Brush up on your disgusting manners, you haven't got pot to p in.

This is the best Nigerian restaurant period. Service was 5 star, packaging high quality, flavours were to die for , speed of delivery was really refreshing. And the sugar is absolute fire as it should be. We'll done👏. Will be back soon.

Had Lamb stew, chicken, jollof rice and plantain. The lovely helpful lady took our order and made suggestions as we hadn't been before! All food was delicious not overly spiced and the small restaurant was immaculately clean and tidy! Friendly guy gave us some chichi snacks while we waited. All in all ...an excellent late lunch!

Decent service. Fun fact: In 1960; when my father was just 19, he had broken into 26 Slater Street a number of times and was reported in the local newspapers such as the Liverpool Echo. 26 Slater Street used to be called the Corinthian Coffee Club.

We ordered a giant cookie on the second of feb to be collected on the 17th feb giving plenty time for it to be made. The day before pick up I ran the branch and asked about the cookie to which the lady rudely replied she hadn’t got an order and that there was lots of staff so it had gone missing, she didn’t even think to ask what was my order and instead told me to ring back at 4:30pm as she was extremely busy. As this cookie was for an event I didn’t want to risk not getting it and with the employee not really listening and being rude on the phone I went down to speak to her to my Surprise (not) she was not busy instead on her phone with her headphones in I spoke about the issue with the missing order and showed her my receipt to which she replied (I believe you) well I’m glad she did as she took my order on the 2nd. She never apologised or even acknowledges her mistake instead was extremely rude. I’m sure this isn’t the time of person Millie’s wants as the front for there business because I will not be going back and I’m sure others will feel the same if they have to deal with the same rudeness and inconvenience.
