I am always welcomed we great customer services and always encouraged to try something new. The staff are always lovely and excited when you tell them you're vegetarian or vegan unlike most places. You are always feel satisfied after your meal and always welcomed with open arms and smiles. Noras palace is one of the best places for a comforting meal and cherish their customers. Highly recommend this spots to everyone especially people who follow a vegan or vegetarian diet. Forever a favourite spot ✨️💕✨️💕

Wow is too short a word. Nora, what a diamond you are. Your palace is a great place to visit. Personality and really good authentic food. I promise next time we come. Lamb Kebab it will be. It is worth a visit to Belfast just to go to Nora's Palace. Try it you won't be disappointed.

Pero como siempre, Nora’s no solo está sobreviviendo, está prosperando. Terminamos aquí después de perder una reserva a la vuelta de la esquina, pero sabíamos que era bueno. Todavía tienen unas cuantas mesas, nosotros tenemos la otra mesa y un par de muchachos a nuestro lado acababan de recibir su comida... cuando la vimos, sabíamos que sería buena. ...y estaba... recién hecho... como literalmente... todo hecho frente a ti. Lleno de sabores, cocinado perfectamente y porciones demasiado grandes para nosotros. La foto que ves... . los lados tabuleh, humus y pan no habían llegado todavía... todo esto por menos de £ 35... . esto alimentaría cómodamente a 3 adultos hambrientos. Great food with impressive customer service. The guys at the counter were friendly every time you visit. The food is top notch. You hardly find such types of cuisines in Belfast. I can vouch on them.

Worst customer service ever, the food was pathetic and the staffs seemed racist. Wouldn’t recommend it to even my worst enemy. They even refused to give us chairs, what did they expected, eat everything while standing!!

Asked for a kebab and chips with the all the works.. got a kebab tray.. no sauce.. was as dry as saw dust.. do not recommend. Too expensive as well. 15 pound for that and a bottle of water.

Genuinely the worst late night take away I’ve had. I’m not one to jump on a review, but seriously the food was awful. Was coming from a night out and saw it was open, got a chicken burger meal. Not one bit of chicken to be seen, was seriously worried. I don’t think I recommend to a friend…

I ordered food today, and it was a very disappointing experience. The delivery was late, and the meat was overcooked, completely falling apart, and it was clear that low-quality meat had been used. Half of the chips were fine, but the other half were over-fried and stale. It was obvious that old chips had been mixed with fresh ones to make them appear new. The falafel was completely dark, almost like a chocolate brownie, and it was hard and tasteless. It looked nothing like the photos advertised. I used to like this kebab shop, but this is the third time I’ve been extremely dissatisfied with their food. I will never order from here again and would not recommend it to anyone.

One of the best places in belfast to try lebanese cuisine.. The owner is super friendly and nice and we have always left the place happy and fulfilled. Their authentic chicken and lamb shawarma are too good but my personal recommendation will be their lamb shish, chicken shish and chicken mandi.

Had a mixer swarma for 1. The portion size was decent but the lamb and chicken were both very dry. Chips weren’t great either.

Nora's palace serves amazingly authentic Middle Eastern food. I tried their lamb mandi with rice, kofta and Whole Grilled Chicken On The Bone and it was extremely delicious. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Also, don't miss their chicken shawerma wrap - it was huge and packed with flavors. A must-try for anyone looking for a true taste of Middle Eastern food in Belfast!

El palacio de Nora sirve comida auténtica de Oriente Medio. Probé su mandi de cordero con arroz, kofta y pollo entero a la parrilla en el hueso y estaba muy delicioso. El personal era amable y acogedor. Además, no te pierdas su envoltura de pollo shawerma - era enorme y lleno de sabores. Una visita obligada - tratar de cualquiera que busque un verdadero sabor de la comida de Oriente Medio en Belfast!

The friendliest team you’ll meet. They’re patient, make recommendations and it’s clear they care about their food & clients. We had the babaganoush, mixed grill, batata hara and chicken shawarma and rice. All are legit and delicious. You can’t go wrong by stopping in here. Thanks Mourad and team!

This review is for the upstairs restaurant, from our September 2023 trip to Belfast but I had made a promise to leave a review because the food and service was excellent . Omami, was our waitress and was phenomenal. She was the only waitress and handle several tables with grace. She was genuine about ensuring our meal/experience was great. The food was delicious and traditional. A lot of the food choices in the area seemed like 'cheap, fast casual' but Nora's was fresh and authentic.

Recent work trip to Belfast and wanted good halal food, service was amazing, staff super friendly, food was great, got the mixed grill, loved the seekh kebab was super flavoured. Was told the mango milkshake was made from real Mango but I really do doubt that as was super sweet and just did not taste like it was made from fresh mango. Other than that, enjoyed the food and service. Would recommend.

I needed a quick snack, so I stopped in for some hummus and pita. The hummus was delicious, and the staff was SO nice and friendly! I would definitely go back next time I’m in Belfast. A great late night option!

Good food and brilliant staff and fair prices

Ordered halloumi mezze and chicken shawarma. Received three bricks of halloumi and a few dry pieces of chicken, each on a few shreds of iceberg lettuce. Very low effort.

Amazing food and amazing owners

We have gotten takeout from Nora's a couple of times while visiting Belfast and it has been excellent. I made 3 meals out of the Shwarma Platter. The charcoal grilled meats were awesome too. I'm going back soon.

The staff opened their outdoor sheltered space for us, which was wonderful. Service was excellent! Food was great!

I ordered lamb shawarma it does not even cook well. And even no shawarma on it .Even the taste was not good. Never again

Necesitaba algo rápido y fácil de comer en mi habitación de hotel un lunes por la noche. Miramos lo que estaba disponible cerca del hotel y esto parecía una opción decente. Optó por la caja de pollo shawarma con arroz, y un poco de baklava para después. En general fue muy decente. Para una comida para llevar estaba bien empaquetado. La comida se veía bien y se presentó bien una vez abierta. La comida en sí era sabrosa. El pollo estaba un poco seco, pero tenía una cucharada de yogur encima que ayudó. El arroz era sabroso y fresco. Una pequeña ensalada encima también sabrosa y fresca. Baklava selección fue de primera categoría.

My wife was given £50.00 as a gift from her family to spend in Belfast. Of all the places she could have spent the money on she chose Nora’s Palace to treat me on our last night on Holiday. We had the take away which was chicken with rice. The rice was bland and the chicken was hard to chew and clearly old and re-cooked with very little veg. Should have listened to the previous review and avoided at all costs.

Genuinely great authentic food, can’t complain, the lady who runs the show seems genuinely passionate about her food! Even her young son was helping out

I am very sad to had the worse experience in this restaurant, the guy helped us with parking which you will be very lucky to find the spot . The restaurant is very small but they have an area out side which you can dine in which wasn’t clean. About the food showrma was okey but the kabob I was almost getting sick . I don’t recommend it at all but I wish the management pay more attention on cleaning and the ingredients of foods .

Hats off to Nora. Really nice food. You really won my heart by your food by your service by your smile.. worth it. I had a short visit to Belfast Ireland from Wales. I reached there around 5 pm and reached my hotel around 6/7 pm. I was starving to death. Didn’t had any clue about belfast cause it was my first time. So I used google to find good places for good food but most of the time I got disappointed but luckily that time I found Nora’s palace. Oh dear good the food was terrific. She is really kind she even offered us food on the house. Great service great place to be. If I ever visit Belfast again I will definitely give a visit to this famous place. Loved it. Highly recommended. Not gonna regret. Keep up the good work team Nora.

A good halal option in Belfast. Taste was great, we really liked the chicken mandi. However, found the prices a tad bit expensive as compared to other places with similar cuisine. Service could be improved especially during rush hours, our orders were messed up a couple of times and we had to get them changed (which they did without any issues). Overall, a good option for halal Mediterranean food at a convenient location in the city centre.

Food was good but it was the most expensive shawarma I’ve ever had . $15 CDN for a wrap that was supposed to come with fries but never did ? It was the only option at the time of night .

We had the chicken Sharma and it was very flavorful. We also tried the baklava birds nest, and the baklava with cream. They were both out of this world. I’m going back tomorrow to take some home. The service was very helpful and as sweet as he could be. They had two tables inside and two out outside.

To avoid at all cost ! We asked for mint tea, which is black tea and mint, the bill had moroccan tea written but "authentic" moroccan tea is different which is completely misleading and misrepresenting. On top of that when the tea arrived they said they were out of mint hence we only got black tea with no apologies or compensation for the additional charge . The sweets were very hard and not presentable as authentic "Arabian delcacies" served in takeaway containers although we asked for sit-in!!! Customer services is terrible, when we complained the waiter said "it wasn't him who cooked it" which is not a way the place should handle accountability. We got a "sorry" instead, which was fulling and redeeming and made us very pleased as you can Enough for us to write about it here!

Staff were rude, went in to leave a letter in that was posted in the wrong box and was made to feel like I was an inconvenience. If that's how they treat members of the public then how do they treat customers 🤷‍♂️

I ordered a chicken wrap and it was very tasty! The lady is amazing she is verg welcoming and she offered me chips for free👏 it was just in front of my hotel and it was serving halal food so it was perfect for me after a tiring travel and before going to bed. Al hamdulilleh

Well it was just ok.. got a lot of hype for Baitul mandi. Which was just ok.. but the not exact level which expected as per hype. Pasta was ok or good to go. Sitting arrangements are not good so not recommended to dine in (quite closed space max 4 to 5 can dine in) on two different tables. Takeaway is better option if you can. You can pay by card or cash.

First time in Belfast so decided to try this small place. Bit sceptical at first because of the limited space but it was worth in the end! We tried the chicken shawarma wrap and the chicken shawarma platter with rice! They were delicious! Recommended!

Tried this place last weekend and ordered Mandhi of Lamb & Chicken. The rice served with it was so colorful and had no taste of real mandhi rice. Not recommend. But the shawarma was good and tasty.

We bought shawarma yesterday from here, only because we had good previous experience from this restaurant, but this time it was very bad, service and food. we won't visit and recommend this restaurant.

Yesterday I bought a shawarma sandwich and it was spoiled and I could not eat it. It is the worst restaurant in Britain and does not deserve even half a star.

30 minute wait after arriving on time to collect. Wasn't busy. Kitchen had one person in it and he didn't seem unset pressure

I have been to six Arab countries - much like their hospitality, food is something that never fails to reach the highest levels in the Arab World. However, much like my ability with women, the contents of this restaurant were immensely disappointing. Standing like statues, we waited at the front door for guidance that would never come - much like life, we needed to seize the initiative to ask the staff to do something. Then, as if we had to prove ourselves natives to a Belfast Winter, the wide-open door sent in the sort of cold that perhaps polar bears may enjoy, but unfortunately we were not polar bears. We had booked our food in advance, but it appeared they really wanted to make sure we knew, and asked us for our orders again - thankfully they didn't ask to pay again which is probably the best thing they did all night. The starter arrived after an hour and was laying empty on our table so long that we could have watched a feature film in the interim. All the while we could hear intermittent screaming and arguing from the kitchen above. Finally, later than Godot, arrived the main course. My lamb tasted like the ash of the oven but it had been so long that I still devoured whatever I could get my hands on. Unfortunately the vegetables were of roughly the same texture as the plastic they came in and I wasn't sure if I was going to choke on them and stopped. Dryer than the Sahara, the staff eventually brought dips after most people had already finished. The miserable experience was felt equally among other tables. The main positive I can say about the experience is that it helped bring the table together to appreciate the good things we had that were completely unlike this restaurant. I cancelled desert since I was worried what new horror would emerge in the time I was waiting, and wasn't going to wait another hour or two anyway. If the choice came between skipping dinner entirely and going to Nora's Torture Chamber, I recommend the former. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to wait and see if their food will not give me food poisoning. If you don't go, then you certainly won't get it.

Awesome little place. Great food. Went 2x in the 3 days we were in Belfast.

Food took 45 minutes to arrive, the restaurant wasn't busy. My starter never appeared, but the main did. Think the waiter was inexperienced (nice guy though), and explaining allergies was a problem due to a lack of understanding English I think. Menu doesn't signpost allergens, and yet I since see the takeaway menu does to some extent. When it did arrive, the food was lovely and the table next to me definitely enjoyed theirs.

Absolute disgrace only wanted chips and was informed they don’t have chips but they do when you order a kebab…. waited over 40 minutes for a chicken kebab on chips and was treated with a shocking take away would not waste your time the staffs customer service is a joke shouting at other employees and customers
