Noble Balti House Takeaway in Neath Port Talbot

Didn’t wanna be too harsh on the stars as I thought the owner was lovely at first. I started ordering from here 4 months ago, I’ve never had an issue up until now and it’s disappointing more than anything . Asked for a butter king prawn over the phone and what turned up was a white curry. It was 90% cream 10% tikka sauce and not mixed together . After heaving at the smell my partner eventually tasted it and it was just cream with no taste. My chicken tikka madras had no taste just spice which it’s never usually like that . When I rang for a refund and explained he apologised for my madras and said it was busy and tried explaining that the butter dish is loved by lots of customers and it’s there butter SUPREME dish which i didn’t even ask for and have never heard of before. when initially asked for a refund he said yes but then said no , even after admitting it had been busy which could’ve been the reason for the madras not being cooked right. said he’d give me a free curry on my next order instead…as if I’d risk paying £40 again. It’s a shame really as this place has lots of potential and what seemed like a decent owner/chef. We all work hard for our money and we’ve wasted £40 of our hard earned money on a curry that is below standard . And instead of being a decent human and owning up or even offering a half refund I didn’t even get that which is unheard of.

Food piping hot when arrived all good only gave 3 stars because some chicken was very tough to even eat if this was better then i will up date the stars & needs better drink options

I tried this place again having written a negative review a long time ago, (which was on the staffs response to a missing item & not about the food.) Tonight 10.4.24. I had the most delicious chutney tray, p.naan & the best crispy & dry poppadoms non fatty/ greasy. Husband had a wonderful Chicken korma. 100% tonight well done. X

Order every week, food is really good and any mistakes are sorted in no time. Had the odd mistake but that's not bad for the amount of times we order.

Still the best Dansak around. Chicken is incredible. Iv tried dansaks all over Britain and for years the Dansaks in the noble balti have been stunning. Love it.

We rang 10 minutes to closing time, not only did Mike accept our order and cook from fresh but he gave us the nicest Indian by far! This place and food is absolutely outstanding! If I could give more stars I would! Definitely our go to from now on!! Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou!

Polite service however the chicken madras was too salty ,chicken cooked to perfection, and the paluo rice I found undercooked shame as it did look appetising, I threw the rice in bin won't be returning soz

Well what can I say… I was looking forward to a tasty Indian and oh boy was I disappointed!! Before even dishing up my food all I could see was oil and grease. My saag curry was bland and next to no spinach in it. My rice again bland no garlic what so ever. My pompadoms were stale too. The only thing half decent was the onion bhajis but even they were full of oil. Will definitely not order from here again.

Ordered a meal the other night, had a phone call to say I couldn't have my prawn dish as they were out of prawns. Said ok I'd have a meat dish instead, I so wish I'd said I'd get food elsewhere. Food was late and cold, pretty much tasteless and lumpy. 2 of us had bad stomachs the next day ensuring we will never buy from them again which is sad as this used to be the best Indian takeaway around at one time.

Placed a order last night and was told it would take about an hr and half not a problem. However 2hrs it took to get to us and when it did it was very disappointing!! Part of the order was missing and what we did have was either burnt, undercooked or looked as if someone had eat half of it. The taste on everything was all the same like a fish paste taste all the way through the food even though nothing was meant to be fish. We placed a large order that came to over £36 and ended up binning it as it was inedible. Will never order from here again!

This is THE BEST Indian takeaway in the UK! Had loads of takeaways around Britain, but none are even half as nice as the Noble Balti, its not even that local to me, but I’m willing to travel to get the best.

Found out they are GF amazing. Butter chicken is my new go to. Staff lovely

Everytime I order, something is missing. On this occasion I've waited 2 hours with no chips and a wrong curry, poor.

I placed an order last night and was told would be approx an hour , food come after about 45 all the food we received was cold to the point we had to microwave. I phone to say that the food was all cold and was told what do u want me to do. I said what do you suggest I was on the phone for nearly 10 mins and got no further And this is second time this has happened now won’t be ordering again

Used to love this Indian but when I called them because they delivered the wrong food the man shouted and hung up the phone, very rude staff

The best Indian around I've been ordering from here for 8 months every Saturday night, and the food is outstanding I've ordered from other places before but none are as good as the noble, I'll never go anywhere else now, hope this help you, you won't be disappointed

After being a repeat customer over 14 years, I well never order another meal from the Noble Balti. I ordered two meals tonight, along with two poppadoms, the meal was delivered. I opened the bag of poppadoms nearly half of the one popoppadoms was not in the bag and there was a six inch hair in the bag between the poppadoms. I phoned to complain and was told a the staff in the kitchen have short hair by Mike. The delivery driver I gave a tip to had long hair. I will not be ordering from the Noble Balti ever again.

I've never had a negative experience here, customer service is always great, staff are friendly and the food is always lovely. I don't order Indian food from anywhere else.

I just moved back to Neath area, and i always heard of Noble Balti House. I have given it a try 1st time tonight 20th February 2017, and one of the most Succulent lamb rogan's ever, their version of Garlic rice is fantastic too and used more garlic than others. Also the Naan bread was Perfect temperature and consistency. 5 STARS from me! Daniel

Been a customer for years still nice food here

I have always loved the food from here for years but lately it has not been the same its been runny like water tasteless and to be honest I haven't been very well after it after being a customer for year it is dissapointing to say I will never be buying food from here ever again I feel like a was robed

Not that happy after finding out that beef was used in place of lamb in the dishes. Trading Standards did prosecute in April 2016.

Best Indian takeaway in the Neath area. Their Madras is nice and hot.

My Wife and I got a take away from the Noble Balti house on 19/12/14, and we were very impressed with the quality and price. Would heartily recommend it to anyone, and will be getting many more meals from there in the future.

I have used this takeaway on a number of occassions. A really good mix to the menu and excellently prepared food with a real fresh feeling to it. Well recommended!
