We come this restaurant once a week. It’s the best sushi and sashimi in the UK🥹.

Lovely food and very friendly and accommodating staff, who we had very friendly and easy conversations.

We have been a couple of times now and always love love love it! The sushi is phenomenal and the owners are very friendly. Our favorites are the charred salmon nigiri, the oishii roll, the california roll and also the salmon nigiri. Though as we tried the gravlax salmon, this is now added to our favorites list. I can’t recommend this place enough for a perfect dine-out sushi experience!

High quality of food, not expensive, huge portions and staff is very nice. Great and quiet place for a date or just a dinner with friends. Highly recomended!!!

The overall dining experience is very satisfactory, the service staff is friendly and the sushi is made to order to ensure the best taste. If sushi temperature management can be further optimized, such as making the temperature of nigiri sushi closer to hand temperature, the taste will be more delicate. Overall, this is a recommended sushi restaurant, especially for diners who like exquisite Japanese food. Surprisingly, the store also gives away additional sushi.

Probably some of the best sushi in the world. My wife and myself favourite restaurant. We travel 2 hours to come here. Just incredible food, fresh ingredients and exceptional value for money.

So glad we found our new local, the Salmon Kanoko Nigiri really is one of the best dishes in Aberdeen and worth going to try in itself. All this at excellent value. Such a great small business that the community should support.

Amazing meal with the loveliest hosts, Jerry and Alicija are running the loveliest restaurant in the west end. Excellent range of sushi dishes, with the Tuna Tataki a standout. Wonderful atmosphere and will be back again.

Es pequeño por dentro pero eso no importa, solo significa que tienes que estar organizado para reservar con antelación para poder conseguir una mesa : ) hacen comida para llevar que vimos. Si viviera más cerca definitivamente estaría sacando el máximo provecho de esto. Los tamaños de las porciones eran excelentes, la relación calidad-precio era increíble y genuinamente el equipo de marido y mujer hizo el MEJOR sushi que he probado en mucho tiempo. Fabulous food. A small but mighty restaurant that serves easily the best sushi in Aberdeen. Generous portions too. Particularly impressive as everything is in-house - right down to the home brewed beer!

Highly recommend! Popped in without a booking and we were accommodated. Atmosphere super and relaxed and choice was great too. We choice a number of items and weren't disappointed! We will definitely be back (and will keep in mind the option of take away too)!

Hands down the best sushi ever. This was my 4th visit and I absolutely love it. Super fresh, delicious and such a cute restaurant. The samurai platter is delicious. The crisp salmon maki is interesting, and had good texture to it! Recently had sushi elsewhere in Aberdeen and in a Japanese restaurant in Glasgow and it wasn't as good!

We have been to the Sushi Den a few times for takeout a few times and have highly recommended it to friends - who have all agreed that the food is amazing. We decided to book a table and eat in the restaurant this time for a birthday meal and brought some family with us. We were all delighted with the food and the atmosphere, everything was fantastic. The owners and chefs Jerry and Alicija are fantastic, so friendly and very accommodating - if there is anything you don’t like then they will offer suggestions. They are both very passionate about their work which you can see by the amazing flavour combinations, textures (I’ve never had crispy onions on sushi before and it was delicious!) and the presentation is beautiful. We had the miso soup, homemade chicken gyoza with a really delicious sauce and a sharing plate of various rolls with tuna, salmon and prawn (sorry I can’t remember the name from the menu but I’ve attached a photo). My favourite is definitely the Kanoko seared salmon! And if you can, try Jerrys Ninja brewery beer! We will definitely be back very soon! 🙂

Sushi Den is hands down the best sushi spot in Aberdeen. Every visit is an incredible experience. The sushi is consistently delicious, with the freshest ingredients that are beautifully presented. The two owners are amazing – they’re friendly, welcoming, and always make sure we have a great time. The attention to detail in both the food and service sets this place apart. I strongly recommend it to anyone who loves sushi, and we will definitely be coming back again and again!

Very warm welcome on coming in and menu is very easy to navigate and good value. Portion size was great and anything I couldn't finish they boxed up for me to take home! I would highly recommend and come back. Fiy I called up and checked for availability and they where very easy to accommodate me!

Brilliant food, great service. Had a lovely Saturday night treat. Everything was delicious. The seared salmon was a MASSIVE hit for all of us. Host let us try a couple of sakes before settling on a bottle for the table. I loved the sweet plum sake but too sweet for some of us. Highly recommend and we'll definitely be back for more.

The best! You can tell the ingredients are fresh, the restaurant has a cosy and not cliché atmosphere, with excellent and friendly service. We ordered the Junbo platter and it was perfect for 4 people; (11 sushi per person). Why go anywhere else?

My wife and I ordered tuna lovers 18 pcs, Millionaire 8 pcs, Chicken gyoza, Hikari fizz sake citrusy cocktail, Good no mine junmai ginjo sake. Very tasty all of it, beautiful presentation also! We have ordered for collection to eat at home twice or so before but never eat in until tonight. Was well worth it. Neighbourhood restaurant and, like others have said, this place is a gem. Also, portions are good and filling.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I could eat everything in this restaurant. Me and my partner are extremely picky eaters - when we eat out, we don’t like to be disappointed, especially if it’s food you could have gotten better somewhere else or done something better yourself. Well, I’m blown away by how good everything was. We tried 4 different types on the menu: millionaire, den roll, citrus, sake masago and kanoko seared salmon (this one was insane). I initially planned on just having two platters but just kept adding more until I couldn’t physically eat any more. The owners are also lovely and very charismatic, taking the time to explain everything and have a lot of attention to detail, which a lot of places fail to do. The music is good and decor is on theme but also contemporary, not stuffy at all like some places. It’s safe to say this has immediately become one of our favourite places in Aberdeen and we will be back! Thank you!
