New Sagor Tandoori in Stockport

Arrived earlier than planned which is always a bonus. All delivered hot and everything was delicious!! This is our new fave for Indian takeaways

Chicken Madras was like water and cold, peshwari Naan fell apart and was a wet consistency. Really disappointed

We Ordered from New Sagor tandoori tonight in Great Moor Stockport. We ordered 2 Indian kebabs. We put notes on the order as I don’t like Tomato & cucumber & my partner only wanted onions on her kebab. The menu only gives option of no salad or salad. We also asked for Garlic naan instead of plain. The driver arrived and quoted £2 more than what their invoice was. He just told us to ring the takeaway whilst our food was going cold on the doorstep. They said it’s because we asked for garlic naan on the notes. If it was dearer why not just ring us and say before starting the order !?? we managed to find the change luckily. When we opened the kebabs they hadn’t read any notes the salad was all wrong and the naan tasted plain despite paying £2 more. We wasn’t happy so I rang the takeaway again and basically the owner came on the phone all bolshy and not listening to me. Basically spoke to his chef and made out we were lying !? When you’re spending £24-£25 on a takeaway you want it right and how you like it. I had to pick out the bits I didn’t like. The bread was plain & doughy. It was a big disappointment, but not being listened too by the owner is out of order. Sadly we ordered on their own website otherwise I would have escalated it to Stockport Eats or Just Eat. We won’t order from here again. It wasn’t even that nice. Don’t bother with this place as the owner has a real attitude. I told him he wasn’t listening and that I didn’t want an argument but he just got aggressive because he was being challenged ! I’m surprised they are still in business with an attitude like that. They couldn’t have read the notes but made out we were lying. Extremely Poor customer service.

unfortunately this is the second time our order has been wrong. First time we were given a completely different order. This time our one of our items was missing. After a phone call to the restaurant we were given the correct orders.

Great food, only criticism where the poppadoms they tasted old and where deffo over done, otherwise great quality and tasty food.

Been here a few times and food is lovely. But there is always something wrong with the order. Tonight I ordered and after waiting 1 hour and 20 mins there are items wrong and also missing. And now the food is going cold as I wait for items to arrive. I won’t be ordering again .

Best takeaway around. Foods never cold always comes piping hot whether you choose delivery or collection. Quality is on point. Great atmosphere within the shop.

amazing. lovely rich red masala huge chunks of chicken very flavourful. Good portion sizes. arrived 3 mins early piping hot. this isn't my usual place as my usual place has closed so took a chance based off reviews and was not disappointed. very very impressed. Even the onion barjis were almost the best I've ever eaten. (but a very close second).

Top quality food again. I had a Dopiaza with generous amounts of tikka chicken,onions and peppers I prefer my curry a little hotter and this was no problem on request. My wife has a biryani and again her sauce was made as she prefers. Excellent service all round.

I never like to complain but my food took a while to come and when it arrived the chips were stale and the curry seemed like it had been heated up from earlier today, also my drink was missing from my order too. a bit disappointed as it’s normally my go to place in the past and have always recommend it to others in my flat.

Incredable curry!! I ordered a Chicken Tikka Rogan Josh and was astounded at the flavour and texture of it. The portions are big enough too. Totally blew me away. Best curry house not only in Stockport but the UK!! Listen to 'si seloni' on youtube! ;)

Food is really nice and arrived hot. Especially liked the lamb, very tender and juicy. Mango chutney was a bit strange, more like sweet and sour. The set meal for 2 is great value.

Food fantastic as usual no complaints on the curry or side dish only criticism is the onion bhajis are on the small side and they never used to be other than that no complaints 💯👍

Last night was my 1st visit to this take away, had a chicken madras and it was delicious will definitely be going back and make it my 1st choice takeaway.

food is lovely here. they follow order notes and put salad and sauce for the starters and make the curry hot when requested. a good curry house.

Very disappointed with this place. My partner used to order from here regularly, but the last 2 we've had have been very poor. The naan breads and chapattis were very wet and doughy, undercooked. The last order took an hour to arrive on a Monday night. The two curries had leaked into the paper bag and it disintegrated through into the plastic bag. When calling to ask for a replacement, I was basically called a liar and accused of dropping the bag on the floor! The gentleman on the phone couldn't have been more rude and condescending, not a great way to run a business! Won't be ordering from here again.

ordered quite lot over last 2 years. food this time was really not up to standard. poppadoms were stale, food lukewarm and chicken was rubbery. partner had a paneer curry which he said was nice. onion bhaji was stale. overall not great.

Slightly let down by the sauces within both dishes ordered as it tasted like tomato soup with a few chilli’s and pepper’s added in to spice it up, this might be down to what I chosen..!?! The mixed grill with added chutney tray was nice.., and thank-you for changing the kebab for chicken / lamb tikka as requested. I’m not one for leaving reviews but with some aspects of the food received this evening, it just seemed a bit flat in areas, sorry..! And I’ve ordered many times from you before.

Normally great but this time we waited for nearly 2 hours for our food... restaurant called us after an hour to apologise and said it shouldn't be too long and not to worry that all our dishes would be cooked fresh again... food arrived and food must have been on the hotplate the entire time...not cooked fresh at all...we rang to complain and the guy in the other end kept interrupting saying our food should be with us in 10 minutes but we had already received our food and he never even asked our address... rude... poor customer service and rude staff

Ordered a takeaway and unfortunately in the delivery, some curries were spilt and not able to eat. Took a while of discussion with the manager but to be fair to him, eventually gave the refund. The food though was very flavoursome
