Really tasty, katsu was crisp and tender. High quality ingredients and freshly made sushi. Lovely family run establishment, great service.

This is an all you can eat style restaurant but you order what you want, not queue for a buffet. You pick 3 dishes at a time and there’s a 10 minute stop between orders. The gyoza and spring rolls were very good, and the sushimi rolls excellent Pay attention to the portion sizes as some come as 2 pieces and as 6 ! Everything we ordered was very good

Pleased with the service! We told the chef that we have a train to catch and he reassured us that we won’t miss it! And truly we didn’t, he served the food so quickly & reminded us afterwards bout time remaining. I ordered katsu curry, along with gyoza. My friends also had other foods that I wasn’t able to take photo. Overall, service and food are excellent! 👌

This place is really good! loved my chicken katsu curry, the whole meal was delicious! I had dropped a spoon on the floor, in no time someone came over and replaced my spoon for a clean one. Would recommend!

Concerning a one star review that compared the sushi from this establishment to supermarket sushi, I must attest that the sushi here, in fact, is superior to that sold on a supermarket shelf. Concerning another one star review that complained about undercooked fish being served at this institution, it should noted that raw salmon tends to be served cold, raw, and under no circimstances deep fried. Otherwise, passable establishment, would come back again.

Arrived around 7:30pm on a Thursday. Came in with my work colleague, was only the 2 of us in the restaurant. I had the unagi bento box and a side of salmon sushi rolls. Food was good, made better with the sake. I ordered the warm sake and my colleague the cold. Very generous amount of sake, took us 2hrs of chatting and drinking to finish our drinks 🍶

The lid on a miso soup came off in transit and spilled into the bento box. I was sad because I had soupy food and no soup.

I’ve ordered from here many times. The food was amazing as usual and received hot. The driver was quick and friendly too. All in all, would order again.

Popped in here whilst staying in the hotel almost next door on a work trip. Initially chosen for convenience , however I'm glad I did! Tuna sashimi was melt in the mouth and the teriyaki salmon ramen was delicious. Had a lovely chat with the chef (who was also waiting on a quiet Monday evening) who was attentive and spoke passionately about his food.

Lovely authentic Japanese restaurant. We came here to enjoy lunch before hitting the shops with friends. The service was fantastic and the food was delicious. I highly recommend the sushi and sashimi. Would definitely return next time I'm in Swansea. Great find

Everything was lovely, but maybe takoyaki should not be in the same container as the salad as the salad vinaigrette/dressing seeped into the takoyaki and made the takoyaki sour. Could do without the dressing but overall still a good experience. Excellent food

Went for our anniversary, and quite frankly the service and food was awful. The fish tasted off and had a funny taste, I'd rather eat supermarket sushi. The server wasn't up to standard either, we were missing things and she wasn't very friendly either . Wouldn't recommend and definitely not the 'best'.

I don't know if they were having an off day, and I dislike leaving reviews this bad, however... the food tasted metallic. The woman who served us seemed aggravated that we didn't order more (which im glad we didnt because it was not good). Didn't give us utensils or napkins. The most she spoke to us was when my card payment didn't go through the first time. I love Japanese food but this was awful. Thick cuts of poor quality fish and awful service. We won't be back.

Poor service in a dirty establishment. Sat down while all ingredients weee rolled past us for delivery with no consideration. Food was satisfactory. Service was awful. People serving couldn’t be bothered to make any effort. Would not visit again.

First time eating here and I have to say it was superb! What a little hidden gem. Everything cooked to perfection! I had the katsu chicken whilst my partner had seafood udon noodles! Spot on 👌🏻 The tempura prawns were also delicious. We will definitely be back!

Went here with my partner a couple days ago, don’t usually go for Japanese cuisine but so glad we did. Really good atmosphere and staff were kind and helpful. I’m a vegetarian and there was plenty to choose from - I ordered a main and also shared a couple of slides which were all delicious. Thanks for a lovely evening

Long wait for delivery. Overpriced stodgy rice with a few pieces of dry chicken. Bland, boring. Very disappointed and would not order again.

Absolutely delicious food and excellent service! Everything we ate was beautifully presented, quick to arrive and so so so tasty! It was quiet, despite it being a Saturday night, and the lady who served us was very friendly and attentive. Can absolutely recommend!

Went here for my first time eating sushi and was blown away. The food was phenomenal, the chef is an artist, and the server was the friendliest imaginable. Would give more stars if I could, and will be returning the moment I can find a good excuse.

Portion sizes are terribly small except for rice. And despite clicking the option for no salad they still included salad.

Delicious food, nice atmosphere!

Very authentic and delicious tasting Japanese food. Been to fair few Asian restaurants in the area and this one stands out. Decor was perhaps a bit dated and garish, but the food made up for it by far. It was noticeably cheaply priced too, with most dishes being in the area of £8 to £9 which is very good value for money!! Highly recommend for anyone.

Tried the bento box and the quality is just depressing. The gyozas were hard as rock and the chicken was too greasy. Want to try some sushi but after taking a look at their fish in the fridge, they all looked off and unappetising. Wouldn’t recommend this to anyone who want authentic japanese food.

First time for delivery…my daughter loves Japanese culture so i ordered in for out Father /Daughter film night ..Fantastic food, so very tasty and great portions … we had salmon sushi, vegetable ramen and the chicken and pork curry… highly recommended .. will order again

Excellent food, lovely family-run establishment. We go here regularly as we enjoy the chilled-out atmosphere and extensive menu. There are great options on the menu for children and many vegetarian dishes to enjoy.

I have previously had great food from this restaurant but unfortunately this time some of the fish was rancid. The tuna was slimy and tasted rotten, although the rest of the meal was fine, I had saved that for last as it's my favourite and the whole meal experience was then spoiled for me. I tried to phone with no success as it aas near midnight so raised a complaint via just eat and my complaint was dismissed as "flavours vary" Sorry to say I won't be ordering here again

tried the very famous Nishimura, utterly disappointment got hopeless and didn't bother to try sushi in swansea again, until last night the craving led us to this restaurant as many others were closed for some reason... gladly each variety of sushi had a different flavour,, tasted fresh. Ginger was bit dry though. totally loved it. Restaurant was not crowded and there was just 1 lady serving the tables, so took some time. Wasn't really happy with Ramen as I couldn't see any salmon and bearly 4 5 prawns thats why 4 star. Also king prawn in hand roll was oily and over fried...but for sushi will definitely go there again. 😋

Absolutely lovely food here new I chi ban on highstreet Swansea bottle of wine, saki, mixed nigiri sushi, scallop nilgiri, calafornian roll, duck gyosa and mixed tempura, £65 fantastic value for the quality I still can't believe that something as simple as egg on rice can be so tasty my fav was definitely the tuna all was fantastic tho

Great food, lovely decor and fast service. Ramen was served in big portions, very satisfying. The grilled eel was incredibly tender and flavoursome. Definitely recomend.

Most of the food was amazing but the crab rolls tasted pre made old and rice was dry, service was horrible the woman is extremely rude and cold feels like an inconvenience when I asked for soy sauce and ginger, and the hot sake tasted watered down like kettle water was added to heat it up. I have dined here twice and I’ve had the same experience never again.

Really wasn’t impressed with food especially not for the price we paid, chicken was like rubber , sauce noodles were in just tasted like brown coloured water ( no flavour what so ever . Really was not impressed, my partner didn’t even end up eating his . Very very disappointed

The slow delivery time caused my food to be soggy and fairly gross, I can see how the food might be good if eaten at the restaurant or delivered in under an hour
