Mr Choi's Chinese Takeaway in Corby

Used to be a great restaurant, but the new management extremely rude, the quality of the ingredients has fallen, and the prices are ridiculously high. Don't try to speak with the manager about any concerns, as you will face a very rude response.

One of the best Chinese meals I have ever had. Fresh, cooked to perfection, tasty without that overpowering msg taste. We had the meal for 2, extra quarter of crispy duck and a chicken chow mein. Enough for 6 of us!!

We have tried most of the Chinese takeaways in Corby over the past 18 years, and without doubt, this takeaway is by far the best. The food is tasty, not greasy, and is delivered within the time frame, they say. The prices are very reasonable and the ease of ordering is excellent. They take both cards and cash, and without fail, the food is always hot on arrival.

Phoned at 4-30 told it would be an hour...5-30 ding dong . excellent service .The food was fresh and pipping hot . we have used in the past and will deffinately use in the future .....best Chinese take away in Corby

Ordered a takeaway tonight it took a hour and half to arrive it was cold and wrong order when I called to ask for a new order they said no and just delivered one new dish 20 minutes later the rest went in the bin please avoid £20.20 later and still hungry

i have been using this chinese for years ,used to be excellent. sadly 2 orders in a row now very dark curry sauce ,,,, VERY OILY,,,,,,, asked on the phone for less oily meal tried to spoon out the oil,,,,,,but had to bin the meal if you want oily food this is the place??? will not order again

Ordered in a large quantity of food for a Christmas get together collecting it myself. Piping hot and quality of food amazing, best Chinese in town.

Been visiting Mr Choi’s takeaway on and off since it opened over 20 years ago and find it hard to fault. The staff are friendly and polite (in the building and those who deliver). The food itself is of good quality, tasty, hot, fresh and ready -if I come to pick it up- and I find the portion sizes very generous if ordering for 1. I hope Mr Choi’s is still there in 20 years. The only problem is that the phone may be engaged for a long time when it is busy. Don’t let that put you off. Call back.

Great grub and consistently good - Paul this is a takeaway and if your going to write. Review for food then write one - not slate a good Chinese off for customers screaming kids - nobber

Had a delivery from here due to my regular Chinese closed on a Tuesday and links to here. Food wasn't incredible but it was decent enough. Prices are also reasonable. Won't swap from my regular but should I fancy a Chinese on a Tuesday this will be where I order from

By far the best chinese in corby, much better than places like lucky and lotus house. If you want the best flavour, texture and consistency in Chinese cuisine, then definitely try Mr Chois.

This used to be our regular choice for Chinese food but hadn't used it for a few years after a bad meal. We decided to give it another go, chicken kung-po, chicken chow mein with fried rice. We were very impressed, food was hot and very tasty. Highly recommend

Hemos estado viniendo aquí durante años y rara vez están decepcionados. Sólo en las raras ocasiones tiene uno de los platos, por ejemplo la carne desmenuzada chili, no ha sido hasta su nivel normalmente alta, obviamente habiendo sido preparados en esa ocasión por un chef diferente. Sin embargo, este no es suficiente para que nos vayan a otro sitio, porque la comida es deliciosa y el servicio es muy eficiente, por lo que valga la pena viajar al otro lado de la ciudad, ya que no hemos encontrado ningún chino para llevar local que proporciona la misma calidad, sabor y servicio como Sr. Chois.Es una pena que alguien decidió no visitar este establecimiento simplemente porque alguien más gritos de niños, seguramente que era problema de los padres, no el de llevar? Me temo que su pérdida.

Was on way back from shopping and couldn't be bothered to cook so call in had chicken and cashew nuts and 3 other dishes

We have used this place for years. Delivery is greased lightening. The food is consistently excellent.

Food was ok, but there was kids running around there parents were drinking they didn't care, the staff didn't care Because the parents were spending money, never go back

We ordered 1 beef curry with 2 portions of chips and curry sauce, 2 of us could not finish it huge portion's. The food itself was very nice but I have had better chips were slightly dry but on the whole very nice meal

Order from here every week for sure; often twice a week!! If the takeaway misses your call they even ring you back - friendly, excellent value and delicious food.

This is my go to when I want a Chinese delivery. The food is always piping hot and I love the food, it couldn't get any better!! Bit pricey, but worth it for the quality

Having moved to corby 7 years ago discovered this gem after 6 months and rarely order from anyone else, great service & delivery good foods always fresh and hot. Wouldn't go anywhere else now just wish they did chicken fried rice with Chinese gravy on top!

One of the best takeaways in town.Singapore chow mein is a winner for me, also the deep fried crab claws seal the deal.Lovely Chinese food and although slightly more expensive than other local takeaways, it's worth that bit extra sometimes when you know what you want!Will always return here, never had a bad meal yet, although the chips can be overcooked sometimes!
