Mr Chips in Banbridge

Tried to go here Saturday night, opening hours say open to 9pm. Drove there and they were closed at 8:45, need to update the opening hours.

Called in around 2.30pm 17.11.22 with the dodgy £1. Best chips I have ever eaten by a distance .

Dreadful, I usually look at the windows before I enter, they were filthy, turn away? I was starving, cod supper, small bottle of water £10+ whaaat! Drove to a quiet spot, the cod, I believe was whiting, too thin for cod, batter worst I have ever been presented with, chips soggy, both were grease city. They went in the bin, inedible, shame on you 'Mr Chips'. Never again.

Was ok though i said no mayo and the other sauce in a tub. They put both sauces on the dinner. they forgot so ruined the dinner for me only had the non tainted bits which were nice

Lovely chips, gravy, super chip and burgers. Very nice. I am leaving this review as I am so pleased to see that when I was in the chippy, three men came in with no masks and were asked to leave - big sign outside - if not wearing mask, stay outside and order. I am so pleased someone (the man in charge) is enforcing the law and showing a bit of common sense. My family have been shielding from the very start due to one of us undergoing treatment and only going out for essentials. We went out tonight for a treat as we are still shielding due to advice from our consultant (People are still having to shield because of their illnesses). WELL DONE AND THANKS for keeping your chippy safe. SINCE 1st REVIEW. Been back twice and it seems that when the man is in chippy, the mask rule applies. The woman in charge doesn't uphold the rule at all. Very disappointed. Also, the last time we were in, it was overcrowded, the woman didn't comment or ask anyone to wait outside, and when we got the chips, it seemed because they were busy, the chips were undercooked. Very disappointed and for that reason, I am marking them down on their food. Not consistent.

Double check your order. I have ordered chicken goujons with cheese chips. Once I arrived home I find out there is no chicken at all! But paid for it. Phoned them and said I haven't get it and the girl said " your chicken is here come and collect and t and Hang out. Rly ? It's not first time when my or my friend's orders was wrong !

Brilliant takeaway food. My favourite is Cod and chips. Nice and crisp batter and lovely dry and crispy chips. Always smiling friendly staff.

Brilliant as always, never had any cause to think otherwise. Staff always friendly And the background experience from Michael in Majestic and The Bridge Cafes in Banbridge has certainly stayed with him. Food delicious.

First off, great food. Best chippy around. Burgers are amazing. Customer service, however, is not always good. Many times the woman behind the counter has taken the first thing I've asked for, then walks off and never gets the rest of the order. Every time she serves me. No one else seems to have this problem with me. Perhaps from now on I shall just write my order down and hand it to her if I wish to eat myself.
