First class service food fantastic and great value not along wait and are waitress Moria went above and beyond for us defo be back again and I'd say best Indian in abc council we have tried most off them

This was our first visit to Babus Indian Spice House located on main street in Gilford Co-Down. Nice outside look to the restaurant but a little small when you go inside, be aware there are stairs to go up to main restaurant. The restaurant is divided into different parts which can feel a little tight in parts. We had a large table in the main room at the back of the restaurant. Service was a little slow, menus to read where very good. The curry I ordered was to be medium hot but turned out slightly sweet which wasn't what I normally like. We ordered some Nan breeds but main oven to make these wasn't working so we had some sweeter versions with coconut inside them. I would like to go back to order again to see if it was just this night and what I ordered was a one off.

We booked a table for dinner, it was easy online. We can park close to the restaurant. The meal was very very tasty, portion was perfect for us. There are a lot of differebt type of indian dish on the menue. Service was good, kind and quick. We want to go back and try it all. We recomend for everyone.

Mother's Day suspected food poisoning! Please be aware! My family got our weekly takeaway treat on Mothering Sunday spent £25 from Babu Indian, my partner placed the food on the plate and the sauce looked like it was jelly on all meals. Rather than thick and runny. However that wasn't enough to put us off as it tasted the same and I should mention that we order the same meals every week. So we continued on but come the early hours of Monday morning myself and my child were violently sick and early afternoon my partner was just as sick. It's day 4 now and even though we are all on the mend we are still not right. The person who wasn't sick in our home was our youngest child as she hadn't eaten any of the food. So please, please, be very careful as my partner and child are only back to work and school now. This has cost us more than the price of the Indian.

Got a takeaway last night food was great as was the service however when we arrived home found that we were a naan bread short in the order

Two wks in a row we've ordered a chicken madras & South Indian chilli masala..amazing to say the least! I've always ordered from Babus & thought the food was delicious but you've upped your game & it's even better..chicken so succulent & spice on point 👌 Just make the nann a bit bigger as it's 😋😋 amazing always I could eat it every day, chicken massive chunks & flavour is 🤤🤤🤤 reccomend 100%

Having been spoilt rotten with curry houses in Bradford and then Manchester my wife and I had been disappointed with every curry house in Ireland, none came close to the intensity and flavour of some of the truly award winning curry houses we'd enjoyed in England until we were recommended here. Hits our curry craving for 6! Which should be their star rating!😂 We'll happily drive 45mins to eat here (and on more than one occasion collect as a takeaway - food is still amazing when we get home!) Staff are really nice and take their lead from the owner, an absolute gentleman who is always delighted to welcome you and get to know you. Eat here, simple as that.

Amazing authentic indian cuisine the best ive had by a country mile. The restaurant is very modern and spacious with air con. Staff are friendly and efficient. The cold cobra beer on tap just tops it all of beautifully

Need to talk about 2 Staff, specially the reception lady and service man. They make us comfortable. Others are like professional roberts.

Amazing food, fresh ingredients, recommended by the owner who calls at every table. Service from him is second to none, he is young but customers come first and that's respected in this day & age where money is tight. We travel here from a neighbouring town because of it. A must.

Fantastic food with great service.

We went on a Tuesday evening for a dinner date, they had an offer on of poppadoms, starters mains and side for a set price. The dips with the poppadoms were a great start to the meal. For our starters we had a chicken tikka kebab which was fantastic, it was very generous and very, very tasty. We also had the sheek kebab which was tasty but not so generous in comparison to the chicken tikka. For our mains we the chicken tikka pathia, oh my! The sauce was stunning I would highly recommend it (the portion was a bit small though). We also had the chicken and mushroom biryani (great portion size) and the curry sauce that comes with it, the rice was very nice, the curry was a bit to mild for me I definitely preferred the pathia sauce. We also got pilau rice (very small portion) and a keema nan which was really yum! Over all it was tasty and highly recommended. The staff were a major asset too, they were friendly and knowledgeable, five stars for service.

A little hidden jem! Fantastic range of dishes, served by the brilliant staff, and at really good prices. A favourite now The staff are so obliging - just ask for help to decide what you would like to try, and they will guide you. They are also more than happy to tweak a particular dish to your preferred taste - and that shows in the reviews - best Indian restaurant I know..

The food here was absolutely amazing So much flavour in every dish, my first time ever having Indian food and I was very impressed The food was so fresh and delicious. The presentation of the food was great The service was fantastic such lovely a lovely waitress who advised me on what dishs would suit me as I don't like overly spicy food! Not only had we to wait over 2 hours for delivery, everything we got was freezing cold and disgusting. £35 for 2 meals that went into the bin was totally inedible. Shame on yous. Never will i order from you again.

The new app for Babus is fantastic. Food arrives on time and just like if you had ordered in the restaurant. I have been going here for years and have never been disappointed.

I don't profess to be any expert on Indian cuisine but I have just had a delicious meal. My only concern was the size of the pilau rice portion. It really was a little on the small side. Apart from that, brilliant!

Omg!! 👌👍seriously the best indian I've had in yrs.. I've been to many restuarants in Belfast always hoping to get that authenticity but was always disappointed 😞 untill I discovered Bubu's.. absolutely amazing the chicken madras.. I never thought after having so many gorgeous Indians in London/Dublin I'd ever get that perfect curry again but I've findly found it... Mmmm.. absolutely gorgeous. Defo recommend 👌👍
