Mozza in Glasgow City

Absolutely loved the food it was a large portion and tasted great! The prices were also reasonable especially for the size of the portion. The woman who served me was so very kind unfortunately I don’t remember her name. The service was also very quick and I hope to be back very soon. I’m honestly very surprised that it wasn’t completely full!

Food was incredible. Staff were so so lovely! More than happy to give us take away containers and even a wee surprise for at home. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend anyone.

Brilliant pizzas and sides. Huge pizza, cooked to perfection. Reasonable price and great staff. Also gave us free bottle of beer and diet coke to take away with us. Lovely touch. Highly recommended

Always love visiting here, we have two small children and the staff are very livery to them both. Pizzas are great and amazing value! Highly recommend! Don’t be fooled by it being quiet, seems a well kept secret venue. Fast service, great value, great food.

Friendly service and super tasty pizza

Pizza was great. Unfortunately, the service was not. Slow to take order, slow to get food out, despite the restaurant being quiet. Had to ask for my drink 3 times before it arrived and when it did, it was clearly straight out the fridge - not good given it was red wine.. Staff were pleasant but seemed inexperienced and need more training. We did get given 10% off our bill due to the delays, which was appreciated.

An absolute must try. The pizza and focacia were phenomenal. Would highly recommend this place to anyone. The service was very prompt and friendly.

Visited here for dinner on a Monday night. Place was super quiet! Ordered the 303 pizza (mortadella, mozzarella, ricotta and crushed pistachios) very unusual but enjoyable! The pizza dough was cooked to perfection. Very reasonable price. Not many staff were in at the time but the girl who served me was very friendly and efficient. If I could improve one thing about the meal it would be to have less ricotta... It doesn't add much to the pizza, no real flavour. Just my personal opinion. Still liked it a lot :) will be back to try more!

Great food , felt they were understaffed but staff did as best they could . £6 for kids meal which is great value . Pizza is amazing !!!

Quick and friendly service. Asked about items on the menu and the waiter went out of his way to let me try a slice of the meat before ordering my pizza. Both myself and partner ordered pizza 301 which we both agreed was one of the best pizzas we have ever had. 10/10 and will definitely be back!

Absolutely AMAZING! Seriously, I’ve never been here before. I went for a plain pizza with the homemade pesto…. Wow wow wow. And the service was top class, amazing staff. I’ll be back! X x

Amazing pizza. Freshly cooked. I had number 11 and my friend had number. 9 both were delicious. We will definitely be back. The pizza was better than the ones I had in Venice

Not as good as City Centre. Far too much tomato sauce on Pizza. Updated review - latest experience was so poor.. the food quality has taken a huge step back, trying to pass cheap supermarket quality mozzarella as 'buffalo', still too much tomato, pizza bland, unsatisfying, and the staff looked bored..

We had to wait over an hour for our pizzas, when it wasn’t even that busy in the restaurant. Come on, we all know these pizzas take lesss than 2 minutes in the oven. We didnt even get an apology for the ridiculously long wait time. What a joke. Will not come back ever.

Horrible service, we waited for more than 30 mins for three pizzas with at least 5 tables being served before us, even if these people arrived later. When we asked the waitress that took our order, she took our order again as she didn’t even place it at the first place as it seems and she didn’t even know what happened. We ended up leaving. Not recommended even if the pizza is nice. Similar places like Paesano as way better.

Really really poor. Me and my partner were stuck in the creche where parents were leaving their children unsupervised, could barely hear each other over toys being thrown and screaming. When pizza came it was so greasy we couldn't finish it and ended up just leaving, waste of time. Felt sick all night after that. Really terrible atmosphere for us. Staff clearly didn't care either.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. The restaurant was half empty when we went, and yet we still got our food AFTER people who showed up later than us. The food was PATHETIC. If this is what real Neapolitan pizza tastes like, its absolutely disgusting. We had ordered 3 pizzas, all of them tasted disgusting. One was burnt, and it was burnt to the point that even the olives on it were charred. Now I’m no pizza making expert but I’ve never seen a pizza where the olives are burnt along with the crust. Second pizza was a basic cheese and basil pizza, I have no idea how you can mess up something so simple. Pizza was cold soggy and flavorless. Service was super slow too. Will never eat here again personally.

By far the best pizza out of the three offerings at silverburn. Second visit, lovely friendly staff, pizza was great, zing to the salami and goats cheese was just right, even ate the crust its so good. Great chilled out vibe…. Sat nattering for hours. Not rushed at all by staff. A wee bit cold as near the doors to centre, but guess that can’t be helped with current fresh air policies.

Lovely authentic pizzas very reasonable price and nice staff. Fantastic value.

Never get the orders right and have been given the wrong bill before. Usually empty for good reason and have very long wait times. Definitely one to avoid, Paesano is a far better run restaurant and should be endorsed. Mozza is ineffectively ran, has badly trained staff and don't know when to turn people away. Given one star as the food tastes good. Please buy pizza elsewhere, or else Mozza won't bother addressing their issues here.

Pizzas were super greasy and it took over 30min for them to arrive despite the restaurant to be more than half empty. The spicy oil spray was cheap and nasty.

Incredible friendly staff, Easy 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 for the staff. Food is ok, I would take out pizza and the focaccia a bit earlier from the oven so I can avoid too much burning.

Visited Mozza in Silverburn yesterday and could not be happier with the food or the service. Food was served very quickly and was delicious. The staff were lovely and very good with us, especially when we had an unsettled baby to look after during our meal, offering to keep our pizza warm until we had two hands to eat with! Will definitely return.

Best spot for all things mozzarella - it's in the name :D . They have a MOZZA BAR - a section on the menu dedicated to just mozzarella...do I need to say more? Their Neapolitan style pizza was fab! This restaurant does classic Italian pizza rather than New York Style/American pizza. Food is simple and beautiful! Living for the The Pink Lemonade ( like an Italian twist on the Cosmo ). The restaurant looks snazzy and the staff were really friendly :) Really good value for what we paid for and what we got. 10/10 would go back

Food was good..sadly the waiting staff paid absolutely no attention to anything we asked for. Drinks were wrong both times. Did not bring 2 focaccia even though we made the girl repeat the order. When leaving I took the drink to who I think was possibly the manageress and not even an apology! Such a shame as the food is good. Doubt I would go back

Heard a lot about this place. Sadly it didnt live up to the expectations. Took my daughter and her friend today, waited ages to order. The menu is based on a number system, and it took 3 attempts for the waitress to acknowledge 2 kids pizzas, no.1 and no.3. My pizza was tasty, however, it was so soggy, the toppings slid off the base. I wasnt sure if the waitress we had was new, but needs to be clued up on the menu at least. For the length of time we were there, the couple seated next to us sat waiting for their food, and we ordered at the same time. The concept of a pizza only restaurant needs to be on form, as you have Zizzi's and Tony Macaroni next door which will pull the clients away. Gave it a try, dont think I'll go back. One thing I will say is the price was cheaper than I expected. Overall quite dissappointed.

Really poor standard of service. After being shown to our table, eventually, then waited 15min for a drinks order with no success and left. And for a restaurant with so many staff. Amazing how many members of staff can look at waiting customers, ignore them, and clean tables. I appreciate the difficulty with covid right now, but two points (1) the table we were shown to didn't even get cleaned (2) it always helps to at least acknowledge someones existence! Next door to Zizzi for a very nice meal. Such a shame that the superb pizza express has been replaced with this dross.

Love Mozza, one of our absolute favourite places for delicious Neapolitan pizza in Glasgow. Great menu and very reasonably priced!!

Hardly any toppings. The number 11 pizza came without ANY figs, and next to no balsamic jam or walnuts. My mother was clearly quite disappointed with her birthday meal. Not worth the money.

Very awful pizza. Inedible. So much sauce and such thin base it turned into a stew. When I called the blond waiter she swore saying "everyone is a pizza expert all of a sudden ".

Best not chewing Italian Pizza. Original tasty nothing change. Original Flour, Passata and Ingredient

Absolutely delicious food. Would definitely go back. Couldn't have been happier!

The place was empty, such a shame. Waitress was faultless, friendly and great recommendations. Pizza arrived quickly. It was good size and very generous with their mozzarella, which for me is fantastic. Base was thin and crispy on the outside but obviously not where most of the delicious cheese sits. I asked for extra garlic and there was plenty of that there too, maybe a little too much when I bit into a clove. The guy who served the pizza literally just plonked it on the table, maybe he should take lessons from the waitress. I would come back again because overall I enjoyed the dining experience and for around £11.50 for a glass of wine and a whole pizza it was very reasonable.

Its ok if you like a soggy pizza. I was very disappointed. Won't be returning for a second visit .
