Spent a few hours having drinks and a two course meal with a friend. The restaurant and outside seating was very stylish and comfortable. The starters and main were full of flavour and presented beautifully. The staff were friendly and helpful but left you to eat and drink without the feeling of being rushed. It was a great experience and we will be back soon.

Perfect restaurant for couples, really nice interior, clean and modern inside. Service was really good, felt very looked after and everything came out in good time. Really nice starters, will definitely visit again in future and try different things on the menu.

We had never walked on this side of the river but so glad we did otherwise we wouldn’t have stumbled across this excellent restaurant! Really lovely staff and food is fresh, good quality and delicious in taste. Would highly recommend you try as you won’t be disappointed.

With friends we went in for a relaxing dinner. We opted for a whole load of starters - a meze meal. Delicious! Plenty to eat accompanied by Turkish beer and a good bottle of organic Tempranillo. What could have been better? The staff were attentive and cheerful without being intrusive. Thank you. Would happily return and recommend Mojen.

Good location next to river we have done shopping at bental centre went afterwards get table of 4 it was amazing food and friendly professional service mixed kebab was so tasty .

We tried out this restaurant on the spur of the moment and were delighted with our experience. It is a large restaurant on the river bank - it was quite busy but the staff provide an excellent service. We liked the long menu and the food we ate was delicious. The ambience was just right for Saturday lunch- a buzz of chatter which wasn’t too loud with people obviously enjoying their meals. It is a welcome addition to this part of Kingston and we shall definitely return.

We received a menu through the door and thought we would give it a go for lunch on a Saturday. Whilst walking along the river we were offered a lunch menu flyer which detailed a fixed lunch menu with about 5 options for each of the 2 courses. Even better there was a substantial discount over the main menu (£14.95 !). We had that menu and were really pleased with the quality of the food. We had recently eaten in another local Turkish place and this restaurant was significantly better regarding the food. The environment is pleasant and not echo-y so a conversation with my partner was easy. Thoroughly recommended - especially if they keep offering the lunch menu.

My second time at Mojen for lunch. Had a few starters/tapas for lunch. All were really delicious. The service is excellent and its a lovely space. I hope it gets more customers but I quite like the quiet and peaceful place as it is. I highly recommend a visit before everyone discovers it. Great for veggie food. Good wine. Set lunch for £14.95 two courses.

Lovely restaurant in a great location, super food and sensibly priced. Great ambience for any time or occasion. Staff were so attentive, the manager bringing a ginger tea for one of our party who felt a little under the weather and our waiter was lovely. The Baileys we ordered were given on the house which was a lovely surprise! We’ll definitely be back and hope this restaurant goes on to great things.

We were so delighted to support this family run business. Everything from the food to the service to the ambience and the wonderful decor was absolutely brilliant. We were warmly welcomed and we had a lovely yummy meal. By the end of the evening we felt like family! We will definitely return. We hope Mojen goes from strength to strength. The food is to die for. Lovely ambience and the staff were so attentive and friendly. Great for intimate dinner or dinning with friends/family. If you are in Kingston, check it out - you won't regret it 😉

Ate here before a trip to the Rose theatre so it was fairly early and therefore quiet. Food was lovely, plus plentiful - halloumi starter, lamb shish and seabass fillets. Piping hot. Nice glass of French Sauv Blanc. The waiter was friendly and helpful. Nice decor. We liked the mix of food on the menu - so if Turkish isn't a favourite there is still a lot of choice. We will definitely be back. It is a large space, so shouldn't be a problem without a booking

This restaurant had a quiet opening a few weeks back and has looked quiet ever since every time I looked in the window. So I had mixed feelings the first time I went it. I shouldn’t have had - excellent food, great value (there are so many more expensive competitors nearly), lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. I hope it gets the custom it deserves.

This is a great new independent restaurant by the River Thames. The Turkish bread with our starters was amazing and we enjoyed our mains too (lamb kofte and mousakka). Very stylish decor and nice ambience. We will be back!

We were looking for a restaurant to try, planning on trying somewhere new, and Mojen was on our list of places that we fancied. From outside the restaurant, looking in, we were slightly concerned as the place was all but empty. We shouldn’t have been. The first thing to note is that the restaurant is nicely laid out. So many places these days are trying to squeeze a table into every inch of space. Not so at Mojen. The tables are nicely spaced out, and the chairs are very comfy. However, it’s the food we will be going back for. We shared a couple of starters. The Lambs Liver was of particular note. Beautifully seasoned and cooked to perfection. We both opted for the Lamb Shish for a main. This was again beautifully cooked and, unbelievably tender and tasty. The service was excellent. One of the things I always take note of is how often I have to fill my own wine glass. And the answer for Mojen was not once did I have to. Top marks for service. I have seen a couple of the reviews complain about portion size. For me, these were about right. I certainly didn’t leave hungry. We go to Turkey a fair bit, and are pretty picky about our Turkish food, and this is some of the best we have had outside of Turkey itself. Can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu.
