Metro Cafe in Redbridge

Even though this cafe on on the High Road, it's a bit of a hidden gem and easy to miss. The good quality is amazing and it's not at all greasy. Portion sizes service and value are excellent too.

I have visited many times for a meal. Staff is polite and friendly,services very efficient and quick.Food fresh,piping hot,always fresh. Portions are really fulfilling so a big eaters would not be disappointed.Food is really tasty,cofee also great.Place does not have many tables,lunch time may be busy but this place is my favourite for many years.Prices very good.

Great little cafe in Ilford , I had scampi and chips for lunch and for about 5 quid you can not go wrong , good value for money and Served I’m about 10 minutes , if you go here try there burger and chips , a million times better than Macdonalds

Came here for a quick coffee & ended up getting one of their homemade burgers. The premise was well clean & you could see how it warranted its 5 stars health & hygene rating. Food was amazing, I would recommend everyone to visit this little gem .

I had bacon and sausages for my lunch , bacon was good sausages were Average well worth a visit , I also had the mixed grill and scampi and chips , both are good and reasonably priced

I pop in here whenever I am in Ilford. I'm a picky customer and they always go out of their way to look after my every need. They remember my face, and you can see that all the regulars are enjoying themselves too. I usually have an omelette, but when I am particularly hungry, I'd go for the home made burger. Service with a smile and top fresh food. Ilford's best kept secret.

We come here regularly and nothing is too much trouble. This is a small cafe so there are not many tables. The staff are always pleasant, even when they're having a bad day, and do whatever they can to ensure you enjoy your meal. Prices are very reasonable. They've just had a refurb and it has freshened the cafe up somewhat. Food is always freshly cooked. I recommend this cafe to all of my friends and quite a few have tried it and liked it. I cannot believe it has not been reviewed on Tripadvisor yet!
