Meldrum Kitchen in Aberdeenshire

Booked on the website and advised pick up in 25 mins waited a further 45 at the premises and watched utter chaos unfold as wrong orders went out,mixed up orders, got wrong timings, loads of people waiting some jolly giant 😂 I take it the delivery man trying to sort it out 😂😂😂, was only passing through will definitely keep going next time food was cold so threw in the bin at the next lay-by waste of 90 mins and 30 note

We have ordered 4 times now, 1st time delivered wrong day, 2nd time was ok! 3rd time 10 minutes later than time slot, tonight 45 minutes late rang them, it was bagged ready and had been sat there since allotted time but hadn’t been sent out as they ‘were very busy’ they have my phone number and email, could have let me know. The food varied greatly the 3 times we actually got the delivery. Will NOT use again.

Had a take away meal. The sharing stater for two was a box of deep fried food which had been reheated. The barbecue spare ribs had no meat on them at all & were very dried up. If I had lived closer I would have returned this food which was only fit for the bin. Would not recommend.

Food arrived at 21.00 after ordering at 18.30. Food arrived stone cold. Had to reheat and most of the food was inedible after that. Chips went soggy, Chicken was too chewy and was thrown out. Had around 2 mouthfuls and could do anymore. Spent nearly £40 and still hungry. Not the first time this has happened but was willing to give them a second chance but certainly won’t be doing that again.

Imagine finding a vegetarian rice dish filled with prawns. Then, when phoning for an explanation and replacement you are told that you could get 10% off your next order. No offer of a refund but you'll get a phone call back as we're too busy to deal with your complaint. Safe to say that we never received that phone call either. Very amateur.

Came to try after visiting Tigerlily for many years but been stressed to try Meldrum Kitchen after hearing some reviews. Ordered 3 starters, two mains and some sides. All dry, tasteless and just awful. Rice looked like it had fake eggs in it. Stir fry was just tasteless, just smooshed veg and chicken floating in brown water. Spring rolls tasted like they had been in the freezer for 10 years before frying. Lady at till was very rude to the other server also which already made me feel uneasy. The place to sit was dirty, the tables had crumbs and dried rice on them. Just didn’t look good at all. Safe to say will definitely not be back and it’s a sad loss for meldrum giving how fantastic Tigerlily was.

Ordered salt and chilli mix, amazing must try it. Really impressed with quality of the food and very tasty.

Excellent takeaway from a super-busy Christmas Eve Meldrum kitchen. I ordered in the shop for later in the evening and it was ready exactly on time even though the phone was ringing non stop with orders. Hot fresh delicious food which we will definitely be back for again. Well done team MK

Ordered a takeaway on Monday and the food was great! It had lot's of flavour and is very delicious and hot, the food was also in big portions which meant I didn't need to pay a lot to feed my friends. Basically no waiting time. The quality is great and the customer service was good, very friendly staff. Defo recommend and would go again!

Ordered a takeaway last night, was blown away how fantastic it was. We ordered on line which was very simple. We arrived at the pick up time. The girl on the counter was friendly and welcoming. It was very busy, orders didn’t stop coming in while we were there. When we got home the food was piping hot. We all loved it,big portion sizes to. Definately recommend the chilli chips. We will definitely be back.

Takeaway ordered one weekend and we were not disappointed. The food was prepared on time, with good portions and tasty food. The king prawn dishes were well spiced. Only small issue was the prawn toast which was scantly covered so not interesting to any of us.
