Very disappointed with this restraunt food was not good at all and the prices for what you got are ridiculous especially the plater for 4 which cost just over 20 pounds was awfully will not be returning

What a little find! On our doorstep. Went for a family birthday and they didn't disappoint. Food was tasty and plentiful Staff were attentive, friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend and will definitely go again.

Called today at lunchtime got the first time. Very accommodating food and drink were great. Good value for money, bought us bread and salad which was unexpected, but vey nice. Looking forward to going again.

Our first time at this restaurant and the food and the service were excellent. The starters were especially good And the bread dips and salad plate to go along with them were a smashing edition. Nothin was too much trouble right down to the mint tea. We will definitely be going again.

We had a lovely first experience at Efes. We had a table of 5. The service was great really friendly staff. They promptly took our drinks order and then came back to order our food. We had starters and mains. I personally had a mixed grill and really enjoyed it. We asked for some substitutions and it was no trouble. They even gave us a complimentary starter. I would definitely be returning again.

The food here is absolutely fantastic, complemented by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff are attentive, friendly, and go above and beyond to ensure a great dining experience. Definitely one of the best Turkish restaurants in the area — highly recommended!

Four of us went for an evening meal at EFES. All of the staff were lovely and attentive. We enjoyed starters and a main meal including complementary savoury. We were too full to order a pudding however we were given one to share as they wanted us to have a taste. Will definitely be going there again.

Inhospitable environment. The manager needs to be schooled in hospitality. Terrible behavior, terrible interaction. Dress down and get kicked out of the place if you're brown. Racist !

Disappointing take out sadly. All food was stone cold, even though we live minutes from the high street. Maybe my food was meant to be cold but the menu didn’t imply this. Mixed grill was not worth the money and again, very cold. Maybe will try eating in at some point??

Love the theming, love Efes on tap 😍 lovely service, the food was fantastic and honestly quality over quantity, to some people you think there’s not much but it’s beautiful food. I’ve been to many Turkish restaurant and that was the best I’ve ever had. They care and they treat you well. The Turkish bread beautiful, the meat cooked perfectly, the authenticity amazing. Definitely be back again!

Just had a takeout from Efes. Honestly having lived in Cyprus and eaten lots of Turkish food. WOW. Fresh HOT it’s hard to explain but when something tastes clean and so full of flavour I just had to write a review. We were gutted to not be eating in but sadly the dog needed feeding. Staff were friendly and we spoke to the owner for 10-15 minutes and the work they have put into the interior and the plans they have for the summer mean this restaurant deserves to be busy and to get the full support of all locals. Will be returning to eat and drink soon. VERY VERY IMPRESSED!

Booked a table for 6pm arrived they couldn’t find booking, we showed them the call log and that we had spoken to someone the day before at 4pm, at this point restaurant was pretty much empty but they did find us a table and told us we would need to vacate by 8 as they had other bookings that was fine but service seemed rushed, we ordered some starters humous came with no bread had to ask for extra to which we were told it may spoil our mains if we eat too much bread? Funnily enough could have eaten the bread 3 times over alongside the mains portions look like appetiser meals I’ve been to many Turkish restaurants u always get a great salad side this was non existent here this was so small we came out and went and got more food elsewhere how they are charging these prices for tiny portions is beyond me, I don’t think the service was friendly or welcoming in comparison to other restaurants wouldn’t go back don’t see what the hype was about

Wow, what an experience. Our table was booked for 7pm, we arrived at 6.45pm and was greeted by Hussain. He seated us, asked if we wanted drinks whilst waiting for our other guests. He had a friendly manner and even though the restraunt was busy, we felt like we were a priority. Once everyone arrived, we didn't have to wait or search for someone to take our order. The waiter was attentive and listened carefully to our requests. The food arrived quickly, which normally a restaurant can be a long wait. There were many dishes ordered and each one was cooked as requested. All throughout the meal we didn't need to wait for anything. Overall customer service, food price and astetics was excellent. Highly recommended 5 stars 🌟 from me 😃

Booked a table for 4, on arrival we were given a table for 8 then moved to another table, we ordered our drinks & eventually they took our food order. 11/2 hours later still no food so we went to Robby’s for a lovely Indian meal which was delicious. A very disappointing evening but saw the funny side of it 😂

The expense of the food did not match the quantity I expected. We ordered a meal for 2-3 mixed grill £45 and was really a good meal for one. Very overpriced for a meal that is only really enough for one.

Ate here yesterday ... food is absolutely delicious .. staff very welcoming and attentive ... full bar including cocktails ... started to fill up as we were leaving ... very warm atmosphere ... will definitely be eating here again , Thank you for a lovely afternoon/meal 👍

EFES restaurant is a good restaurant and beautiful🎄 I visited the place today and I have a very good experience. The food was test the Mixed Grill is so big and met is fresh. And I had take away salmon it’s so nice big meals ,It has vegetables and chips with Potatoes, bread and lemon.They have so nice waters with smile faces and nice service, I would definitely come back with my friends♥️

We pre-booked a table for 11 people, however upon arrival the table was not ready for us. It took them 30 mins to get us seated and to set the table up, and then a further 20 mins to order our drinks. A couple of the meals weren't hot when they arrived, and had to be taken back to the kitchen. The mixed grill is £18.50, however the amount of food doesn't match what you would expect for the price. The food was actually quite tasty and staff were friendly when you actually got their attention, just a shame that we were treated as a low priority despite pre-booking and confirming twice over the phone that we were still coming!
