McDonald's in Aberdeenshire

Noisy, busy not particularly pleasant environment. Granddaughter customised food order but when received was not accurate and even when changed by staff items if food not wanted

Orders are NEVER correct and ALWAYS something missing. i'm wondering if this is deliberate. Nothing is fast about this fast food restaurant and it's so messy and dirty it looks like a war zone on the weekends

Went through drive through took forever to get ordered as the person on intercom couldn't find the items that was asked for. Then took an age to get. Ended up going In to ask where food was and half was barely warm. Waste of time

Awful restaurant. Been a few times early morning when there is no one in. Ordered mcmuffin and coffee to takeaway and waited 20 minutes for it. Slowest fast food joint in the west this

It's the worst McDonalds I've ever been to. They somehow manage to get almost every order wrong. If you eat in, food often takes 20 minutes to arrive after ordering, because they only serve the cars in the drive thru. It is absolutely awful. Last time I went to the drive thru, I got home and realised they'd forgotten the big Mac from my big Mac meal. How does that happen??? They told me they wouldn't refund me and I'd have to drive all the way back to get it. Never going back.

This is the worst McDonalds in the world. Almost every order is wrong, almost every time they miss something out, or put mayonnaise where there shouldn't be mayonnaise. Also the service is so slow, it's not uncommon to wait 20 minutes for your food if you sit in. Never going back

Waited over 30 minutes for a bacon wrap and a coffee that ended up being cold. Terrible service

Food most of the time is cold and if you customise your burgers it will most often be wrong.

Dundee McDonald's Dryburgh, you could learn a thing or everything from Aberdeen (Westhill).

Everything tastes the same, burgers don't look nothing like they do on the order image.

Fries today felt odd. Like it was made from old fries or something. They were hot but not crunchy.

If I could rate with no stars then I would. The service is shocking, staff playing with their hair whilst handling food. One girl nibbling on her nails. When food did finally come after almost 15 minutes the food was cold and the order was wrong. Definitely won't give them a second chance

Ordered here about 20 times and about 10 of those times we are missing items. This time it was 2 burgers.

Waited a while for food. Ordered with table service, food arrived cold as it was sitting for for several minutes. Didn't get what we ordered, which appears to be a common occurrence this macdonalds.

Foods always been fine but the service is always really, really slow

This place never fails to disappoint. Drive thru orders are consistently wrong, service is honking. Ironically, the lure of disappointment is what brings me back....and I'm always "happy" when I leave disappointed and bitter. I'll be back!

Twice i have been in recently, not a single table has been cleared, floor's littered with food, no napkins in dispenser, bins were overfilled。 toilets were filthy. Asked to speak to manager hoping to get her attention, all she did was getting s piece of paper towel and wiped one table for us. Not even using any disinfectant or anything. Other customers were wiping their own tables with used napkins. Yet, they still taking orders at counter and drive through. Should have just shut the place until it is back in order. Certainly will fail a food hygiene inspection if the EHO walked in. Never seen such a disorganised place like this one. you cannot make it worse if you try.

I have beef with this McDonald’s on the basis they have no beef! Staying at the Premier Inn down the road and wanted a burger since we got here, but the past few days they’ve had no beef! Not sure how a McDonalds runs out of beef.

Didn't get food and they said they "forgot" never come here again.

Food is always cold and more often than not we don't get what we ordered.

Pancakes without cutlery No tomato sauce portions with our McMuffins as requested. Pass at least 2 times a month. Wont be stopping again

As mentioned in other reviews this place NEVER gets your order right! Tonight ordered chicken selects to get home and find a box full of mozzarella bites. Another epic fail to add to the long long list from this place.

Absolute gash Big mac was dry and burnt!? Worst maccas ever!!

It's still a McDonald's, nothing exceptional, but the service was good, I find it just a shame that there is so much volume on the tablets that the children use, it creates a lot of unnecessary noise

Half full chips, hair in said chips and a single quarter pounder that was supposed to be a double. Mum also found a long red hair in her burger.

Mcdonalds used to be fun now it's getting to expensive the service is no existing and the atmosphere is no good either l... it's not really worth it for me anpy more unless I get stuff from the savers menu

Probably the worst in history, having pre teen boys, this is top of the menu, not one single time have they got our order right, and that's been a lot!

Visited drive thru , after I drove off I realised that I have missing food in the bag so I came back to the store and told guy at the counter that I have missing food and he give me suspicious look like i was just came out form street and i was trying to get food fro free and he was like do you have receipt I sad no its in the car so I told him what was missing and he's like we don't do that here am like what ? So I told him what I want and he tried to confuse me with questions with what I want the wrap so I told him a regular one which means with all regular toppings . Very rude staff managment , poor customer service .

Great drive thru service. Large hot chocolate with meal, brilliant during the cold weather.

Every time we go here the order is wrong. Also one time I had a bite out my burger and when I spoke to the manager he was rude and argued with me. The staff are incompetent, it’s only a fast food restaurant and they can’t do it correctly

McDonald's Westhill is the best McDonald's, at least the food quality is consistently good, unlike most others. Keep up the great work!

Really good free food cooked to order, efficient staff. Car park good size, kids ipad available for use. Toilets clean and kept on top off. Definitely return.

Totally rammed full of kids parties it seems. Took the food to the car as no seats available.

Quiet time with very few customers but food was still lukewarm

About a 1/3 of the time they get our orders wrong. Ask for plain, it comes with everything on it! Ask for a double quarter pounder, they put the wrong bun on it. They have also missed out items on our orders. Staff need to be able to read properly and make the food that was requested. There seems a high turnover of staff there.

This is a great store is just off the bypass in West Hill, so if you’re going south it’s a great way to stop for something to eat. Got a drive-through. They also got the click and collect when you order though their app. Also remember to sign up for your membership and collect your points. Definitely worth doing you get free food every so often the more you collect 👍

Good maccies with really fast service despite being busy!

Didn't get what I'd ordered but as it was drive through I had left so wasn't going to join the long queue to return

Food's ok. And this isn't Staff's fault more a result of the location but lines are very very very long don't count on having your food sooner than 20 minutes at peak

Never get the order right. 4th time… either no sauces with any of the chicken selects, tonight’s Big Mac and my partners burger were thrown together with the burger squint in the bun and lettuce just thrown around the burger box. Had to drive back twice last time to get back the last parts of our order. Undercooked chicken burger also. My partner had to again drive back for it. I get the impression the they just don’t care, run by young kids who do not care about quality or keeping McDonald’s reputation, would rather mess about than go and sort your order out properly. Feel we’ve given this place plenty chances with zero effect made by staff to care. No idea what management runs this but obviously does not care about customer satisfaction or customer experience. Have been contemplating leaving a review for a while but tonight was the cherry on top. Will keep going to bucksburn instead, never had a bad experience there.

The cleanliness was great and staff polite but food ( burger) was cold , asked for another and was given another cold one having been told it was fresh cooked this seems to happen more often than not at McDonald's nowadays. Very disappointed

To be honest this is a pretty nice McDonald’s it’s very modern with nice food mostly they get your order right so I give it 9 out of 10

Hey it's a MacDonald's, so what to say? They did give me a voucher, which by doing an anonymous survey, gave all at our table free ice creams, which was great, and nicely rounded off our fast food feast. On the way out they gave me another voucher so all good.

Slow service tonight. App wouldn't load. Couldn't preorder or scan. Uninstalled and reinstalled. No better. Staring at golden arches on screen. No credits were able to be logged. Shoddy for a multinational.

It's a mcdonalds... same as any other. Always busy, though. Parking can be an issue sometimes

Visited 25/07/2023 at 6pm and I have to say the standard of the food was absolutely shocking. Quarter pounder and fries looked like they were days old. Not edible. You'd expect the food to be fresh especially at that time of day. The manager here needs a wake up call.

Every time we go we get the same order, without fail they always get it right, very reliable staff :)

We're regular visitors to McDs, as anyone with young children is bound to be. The restaurant was quiet when we visited, so our food arrived very quickly. The staff were very helpful. The only disappointment for our boys was the play equipment outside seemed to be out of action.

20 minutes wait at 810am. For a sausage egg muffin and porridge. Completely incompetent. Manager sat on his laptop and watched. Let his staff take the feedback and displeasure. A joke and training needs across the whole restaurant.

New location and all working in order, selfservice printed my receipt this time which is a plus as the last 2 times I visited, both where out! It seems this branch doesn’t accept mobile orders yet, so bear that in mind. Staff are quite efficient and tidy.

Went through the drive through tonight to get some food. Returned home only to find out that half of my order was missing but I was charged for it. The person at the window wished me a nice evening when hadning me the bag so it couldn't have been that there was another bag coming. I am very angry. Think I will be avoiding that place from now on as this is not the first time they mess up my order.

Every other visit to this place is a wrong order, and why is it that it’s always a downgrade never an upgrade i.e this morning at the drive thru, I was served a single sausage mcmuffin meal when I ordered and paid for a double sausage, but of course only find out when I arrive home! From now on I will go to the Bucksburn branch they seem more consistent.

So. To be clear I love a McDonald's especially since they started doing the mcplant. They cater so much more for vegetarians now which was definitely lacking before. However, the McDonald's in Westhill is always a disappointment. The food is always cold when you get a take out! This time I did a click and collect and it was worse. Won't do that again.if you sit in then the food always takes forever to come out as it seems they prioritise the drive through. Just my opinion though 😉

First time at a McDonald's for some time. Table service is so much better than queuing. No receipt was printed on this occasion, nor was there an option to say that I wanted one.

Popped in to mcdonalds in wesrhill...ordered the breakfast dbl sausage n egg mcmuffin meal..it never disappoints ..absolutley delicious..sat in..and had table service...highly recommend

Food generally fine. When it comes. Today though, not a busy day. Saturday. 10 min for order to be ready. Porridge for the kid doesn't arrive, it's all he'll eat from the breakfast menu here. Awkwardly have to ask for it, 5 min later it comes, no spoon. Away they go to get a spoon. Stir it up - lukewarm (more luke than warm). I awkwardly have to ask about getting one NOT cold, 10-15 min later we gotta get going. Still no porridge. I'm actually not fussy about food, I just have this wild idea that it should 1. be edible 2. exist / arrive in a reasonable amount of time You simply should not have to go out of your way as a customer to try and get the provider to make your food edible / arrive. When a place get it so wrong it becomes your civic duty to give a bad review. There's no excuse for the world's biggest chain fast food restaurant being unable to provide an edible pot of porridge after 30 min. Apathetic ineptitude. *I want to point out that I did complain to the manager before leaving. I was offered a refund (for the porridge itself) or asked if I wanted to wait while they got another porridge. I took the refund as I figured it was more likely to materialize. That does not make make up for the exceedingly frustrating and shambolic experience. Went to shop after to buy a porridge pot to serve up to the kid when we got home. Cheers...

Went for breakfast, ordered two cheese flat breads no bacon, personal choice, egg and cheese mac Muffin meal ×2 Cappuccino and was lovely, service was okay, the young people of today need to understand that a smile while serving the food makes a huge difference 😀

Walked in and there were one couple waiting for their order. I stood and waited, did not get served so I walked out without one member of staff even knowing I was there. I know I'll never be back. Terrible service and management, a disgrace!

100% by far the slowest McDonald's I've ever used. Always over 10 minute wait after ordering. Staff very miserable and cba attitude.

Ordered breakfast through the app then drove the 1 mile to collect. Was then informed on the app that items on my confirmed and paid for order were no longer available. So I went in to query this. A staff member said that all the breakfast buns had been used up. Why would you use up all the breakfast buns if you have a confirmed order to collect??? I spoke to the duty manager who said we'll offer you the bacon roll but in a muffin it'll take an extra 2-3 mins and I was advised to go back to my car. Now over 40 mins later still no breakfast items, A staff member came with a bag of food almost 1 hour later with the bacon roll/muffin missing as well as the two hash browns. I asked where it was, Oh sorry it's now no longer breakfast you can't have it. I showed the receipt to prove I'd ordered and paid for while breakfast was still on offer. Yet again this needed management approval. Eventually they agreed to make the breakfast items. 1hr and 35mins it took me to collect a simple breakfast order. Shockingly bad service and staff couldn't care less attitude.

Worst McDonald's on earth, fries are either cold or unsalted, the workers always miss items off orders, don't give you sauces you ask for or just totally mess up your order. Today I order two breakfast rolls, and 2 pancakes, pancakes came without syrup and one roll came with brown sauce when I asked for ketchup. Poor performance!

No cheese in my burger- i paid 30p extra for cheese! lazy useless saussages! No receipt from the diy till & cold chips. local teenagers working there & arsing around with their customer mates instead of getting peoples orders correct!

It's macdonalds... No frills but cheap snacks... Usually no shakes...

They constantly have tons of stuff missing from their menu. They often get things wrong which is very annoying when using the drive thru. It's hard to get a member of staff to help at the counter as there is never anyone there. For a newer restaurant, this place should have all these issues sorted by now but it just fails so often.

The service was excellent and staff very polite

About once a fortnight our family of 4 go there to get a treat. As we have small children it’s best to go inside. Well without fail every trip we wait at least 45 minutes for fast food. Whilst I’m sure the staff are all legal working age, the outward appearance of the employees gives the feeling more of a after school program. Service is also representative of this observation with un busses tables, poorly kept washrooms and overflowing trash cans. You would assume after an extended wait for food it would be fresh but it rarely is. Not sure how they make it past health inspections with cold and under cooked meat but I don’t thank anyone goes to micky’ds for quality less so with this one

Waited 25 mins in the click and collect bay. Fries are always only half full when you order a large. Probably my second worse maccys in Scotland

As always garbage. I hate how convenient rubbish food is. Go to kfc they screw up orders less.

Yesterday we used the drive thru to order 2 coffees and waited 10 mins also waiting at the wrong window as we werent directed to the correct one. Today we went into the restaurant for breakfast place was clean and tidy i ordered pancakes with sausage meal and the Mrs ordered double sausage & egg muffin meal. After a 20 min wait, yes 20 mins, when we were the only customers there when ordering the guy came out with our food in a bag despite us sitting in and ordering table service. He was nice and apologetic for the wait but had forgotten our coffees. I went to the counter by which time there was about 12 customers waiting for orders and i had to wait several further minutes to see a member of staff to get our coffees by which time my food was cold. Literally the worst McDonalds visit ive ever had.

I just get quarter ponder with sezam bam, chees and meat just a bit of sauce and my fries half of them was out on the tray. Not recommended

Asked for a bbq bacon double cheeseburger, no salad, just onions....they literally gave a plain burger, no bacon, no cheese, no bbq sauce just onions....I mean, surely you'd still get the bacon, cheese n bbq sauce, like I'd asked for?? Nope. Weird. We went 2 days later and asked for a quarter pounder with cheese n bacon, we asked for no lettuce. She said it doesn't come with lettuce, great ....but we still didn't get bacon. It's not the best mcds but it's the only one we've got near us
