McCartan's Fort Bar in Belfast

(June 2022) Best Guiness i drunk in northern irland and probably the best ever. A local band was playing, adding a plus to the atmospher. Not so crowdy that night. Will cross the town to come back again, during my next visit in Belfast. Came back in septembre 2024. Quiet in the middle of the afternoon, but still the best guiness.

What a wonderful neighborhood Irish pub. Amazing service and craic! Glad I decided to pop in for a drink. Very safe and comfortable environment for a woman traveling alone! Delicious Guinness and baby Guinness

The patrons and staff are very proud of their Guinness here, and well they should; it's excellent. But the best part: Super friendly people! A perfect welcome to Northern Ireland for two Canadians.

This the one with the cubby holes where I spilt my guiness..aaaarrrggghhh...sat in corner listening to er um country music...near green post box garage and beautiful Italian cafe..I tink...

Nice place, with good atmosphere and people frequenting. In my first visit I was very welcome and a lot of people came to me to talk and aks about me since since I was a "new face" in the place. Excelente pints in a far price. I hope to return in the future. Recommended.

Fantastic original wee bar . The Guinness is the best on the road and the staff are friendly. After a few different owners it seems to be on the road again back to its original glory days when the gilmartins owed it .

Very friendly local bar with snuggs along the window. Quite small but has TVs showing sport and normal guiness supplied beer etc

Has went downhill badly in recent years,no toilet seats no toilet roll.

The new owners have turned this bar around the staff are very helpful and the regulars are lovely folk too.. I've had the food from the restaurant RE opened and have to say it was lovely.. great work guys keep it up

worst soup i ever tasted and the club sandwich was a half a panini with very little in it. ps stay away from here
