McAtees Bar & Restaurant in Omagh

We live locally and can honestly say we always get great food! The staff and atmosphere is always warm and welcoming.

Stopped here in mcatee for food and drink . Waited to be seated took drinks order I had a lucozade that came from a multi pack that was bought in local shop charged 2 pounds for it , ordered food was very disappointed very over cooked and dried out , from chef to waitress looking at it , should never have left the kitchen. Hard to pay the high prices for what we received to eat , over all poor experience.

Stopping for a feed the place was nearly empty. Food was ordered and came quite quickly. Must say it was tasty enough but nothing special. Some of the choices seem to be of a Chinese theme. Guess not one in the area for sitting in.

Last few visits have been poor. Food quality not the same at all. Change of chef perhaps ??? Still lovely girl behind bar doing everything with little help. Heard phone ring to indicate our food ready from kitchen twice - young lady serving bar , taking orders and serving all on her own . Food came out luke warm on cold plate and very poor portions. Management take note !! This is not working and regular customers will not return for this. Disappointed

Had a lovely dinner here on Saturday night with family and friends and small children. Food was lovely . Had the fish & chips. Very tasty Had the baked Alaskafor Desert it was delish. Great service & greath staff. Thank you

food here is nice but nothing to write home about it would not entice you to return i dont like eating where people are watching football on the tv`s i like a quiet place but that is me

Best bar food by far Just great to have a nice friendly atmosphere. Special Menus are brilliant Very quick service and good food

Took my mother here in a wheelchair the other day for lunch. We were warmly welcomed and seated at an open table where the chair slide in easily. The food was good and there is a good selection of drinks including crafty beers. My only downside is the bathroom which is just a bit on the small side for a wheelchair. It works , just :) Other than that, we had a lovely few hours.

McAtee’s has been a place me and the family eat regular whatever the occasion.. Staff are friendly and welcoming, food is always top, top class never had a bad meal in it. From lunch specials, steaks or the Sunday lunch the chefs always deliver on the quality Great wee bar too, nicely laid out, always clean and kept well, pricing is reasonable too

I have to say I have been to Mcatees before for food but tonight I went for their first Thursday night supper. It was far superior and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. I would highly recommend it. We will be back. Please give this lovely little local pub a go. Thursday night specials 😊

I had booked for a party of 22 friends, half of whom had flown in from Holland to be with us for the week end. McAtees did NOT let us down. As usual, the service was 2nd to none. Always friendly. Always efficient. The food was equally as good. Our Dutch friends were so very impressed, with not only the meal, but with the whole ambiance of the place. It made me very proud to be able to welcome them to our own local restaurant in our own wee town !

If you are looking for good food and service at great prices then mcatees are hard to beat. Lovely atmosphere with friendly staff.

Having recently moved back to Fintona, we have been in McAtees on a fair few occasions. The food is absolutely fantastic every time. My husband had the Duo of Pork last night and it was one of the best meals he has ever had. Lovely presentation and served with a smile. Well done :-)

Went here for a family meal. Food was nice enough, I enjoyed what I had! There was however an issue with one of the meals where it was sent back as the fish wasn't cooked right. It came back out, and the same problem again... Overall though, a nice experience!

Great food,friendly staff and generous portions.Went with Harold from FIntona who knows all about good food and recommended it to me.I am a bit of a chip fanatic and McAtees are first class.!

Very unpleasant Manager. Made a big scene out of a small issue and feel we wouldn't go back after this.

Vivimos muy cerca de este pub y nunca han sido antes! Nuestro hijo ama Fintona js en playhouse, así que decidimos parar para almorzar el sábado pasado antes de ir! No parece ser mucho desde el exterior, pero el interior nos sorprendió gratamente! La comida era estupenda y mi hijo se mantuvo muy entretenidos con libros para colorear y lápices. Sin duda volveremos! Una gran relación calidad-precio!

Been here several times, the restaurant never disappoints. Very good food and plenty of it, the biggest appetite will not be left wanting in this place..

Fui con mi familia recientemente para una comida de domingo. Había una espera para la mesa porque estaba muy ocupado, pero no importa, lo que mereció la pena. El personal era encantador, muy amable y la comida era estupenda. Mi familia de 7, 4 adultos, 3 niños comimos por 53 libras con bebidas. Era una fantástica relación calidad-precio. Recomiendo encarecidamente!

Excelente personal excelente atmósfera fantástica comida han visitado aquí cada vez que vayamos a ierland durante la hora del almuerzo y por la noche y este lugar siempre está muy ocupado cuando nos fuimos, pero nunca nos decepcionó el servicio de comida, personal amigable y clientes sin quejas todo excelente

Best place in the town for a feed, good night's craic too when there is a band playing on a weekend. There wouldn't be much of a crowd during the day but good for parties and get togethers.

Last time I reviewed McAtees's it was for lunch. I visited McAtees for the early bird evening menu this time. Wow! I had a delicious starter of crispy goat's cheese balls followed by an awesome cod topped with salsa served on roasted vegetables. It was a bit oily but the taste was so wonderful I can overlook a bit of excess oil. Service was great. McAtee's is a wee gem in the heart of Fintona.

Come here often an Can not fault it! Has nice atmosphere an staff are so friendly an nice.:-) food is brilliant an really good portions. They also do the nicest Bailey's coffees!!☕️

Gorgeous place to be and now doing deliveries around the town we got a delivery out of here and food was cooked to perfection and piping hot when delivered and very reasonably priced brilliant customer service

When I am in that area I always make sure to get at least one visit to McAtee's, it really is a gem of a restaurant and bar. Food is great and the bar has great atmosphere and very good service.

Having moved to the area 2 years ago I had been in McAtees before for a few beers. Recently we went out as a family (2 adults, 2 kids) as part of a larger group and gathered in McAtees for a bite to eat.The menu had a decent selection for a bar/restaurant this size and the food that was served was of a high standard. A group of 7 adults and 5 kids, all served promptly, efficiently, correctly AND not one complaint to be had.I personally had the pan-fried bass. And it was (as per the review) very good. I would have liked more sauce to go with it but then I always find when I eat out I generally don't get enough sauce :-)Others had fish and chips, chicken curry rice/chips, chicken goujons and the children also ate well from their kids menu (which had a decent selection as well).I'll definitely be back as a regular - kids or no kids.

Food great and value for money, esp their early bird menu. Great for a Thursday evening out and bringing your friends along to enjoy the experience. Staff helpful and efficient service.

My local bar/restaurant, which I can't speak highly enough about. The food, the atmosphere, and the welcome are 2nd to none. AND, a very decent wine selection to choose from. Consistently good. Go on..... give it a try !

McAtee's is a great restaurant and bar in the small town of Fintona, in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. Just a short hop from Omagh, it is worth a visit if you find yourself toodling around in this part of the world. Great food, charming locals and a wonderful pint await you. Don't miss it.
