Maxims in Lisburn

Beef lately got a bit tough,I am OK but wife says chewy,I have to agree was lovely and tender in the beef curry not now.need to go back to the way you use to prepare it.

Thought after reading good reviews I thought I would try a take away. I ordered a breast of chicken curry with some mushroom. Place was very busy on this Friday night. Got home and noticed fried rice portion was smallish and just rice tossed in soya sauce, no egg. The curry portion was big. The sauce was very thin and tasted salty. Chicken was precooked before adding sauce and mushroom. Onions in sauce were almost raw. Really poor meal despite others giving good reviews. At almost £9.00 poor value also. Will not be rushing back.

Haven’t had a bad meal from here, always fantastic! I’ve tried a few Chinese in Lisburn and this one is far the best! Only thing I could complain at is they need to start excepting card payments other than that, highly recommend!

I know everywhere is busy Christmas eve but that is not an excuse for poor service..i rang at 8.30pm for delivery was advised wait would be 1hr -1hr 15....9.58 i rang as order still hadnt arrived...said driver just leaving..food arfived at 10.35 ..when i opened it not only was the order missing chips i had ordered but the chili chicken that is my regular order was an ectremely small portion and not a chili in site...i rang for a full 20mins and no1 picked up the phone. If this is how u treat ur regular customers ay Christmas i will be going elsewhere in new year that is for sure.

As the title suggests the portion sizes are massive, not only that but the food is fairly priced and extremely tasty. They don’t do a munchie box that I’m aware of but for everything else they are my go to Chinese.

Have really upped their game. One of the best Chinese take always in the greater Lisburn area and is a very good choice. As a result, it’s very busy, especially on a Saturday evening. Can take a while if your trying to telephone order but worth it.

We've switched to Maxims for our usual Saturday night Chinese takeaway after our usual went a bit down hill. Food is excellent for everything we've got on all occasions. Can be pretty busy, so prepare for a wait. The phone is very busy too.

great menu choice, good service from a very friendly staff. Will deliver if required. Cannot fault the food.

Well I don't know how I have lived in Lisburn for years & only tried this Chinese for the first in Sept. It's number 1 Chinese in Lisburn by far. They never stop & still every meal we have tried is fab & fresh. Great value for money. A must to try if you haven't tried it yet 🌲

We get a meal from here every week it is amazing value for money and it never fails in taste I would highly recommend this to nyone

Felt peckish one night recently and got a curry from this place. The only words I have for the food was BLAND! Definitely will never go back. Give it a miss!!!

I had not been to Maxims in a few years. A friend said he always go there and I should go back and try it. Well, I was not disappointed. The food is lovely ... good portions and the food stays nice and hot when you bring it home. I recommend you try their Salted Chilli Chicken, it is the best one I have had.
