We had Jamaican food, goat curries and jerk chicken. It's the best we've ever had. Absolute taste sensation. Delicious. Would highly recommend!

I had the Turkish eggs. It's heavenly. The dill yogurt and fennel seeds compliment the chilli oil perfectly. Not one ingredient fighting the other. If you've never tried it, get down there and treat yerself. This is the kind of place where you walk in, and you can feel the love for their customers and their food. Quite simply, the nicest place to eat in Hull.

Banging food! I had the Spicy Pork Barbacoa which is easily one of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time!

Really nice food, a little sparse in comparison to the price, but I think it was just the dish I ordered. It was really tasty and not a complaint as such, I just have a big appetite and was expecting a little more on my plate. But I would go back and probably order a sandwich next time and they looked delicious.

Great little place tucked away, only found because of Google Maps. Had the Welsh rarebit and the flavours were incredible.

Wow, way above our expectations. We had the Sunday lunch and I can honestly say that every item on the plate was mouth-wateringly so tasty. By far the best roast I’ve ever had. I only do reviews that are worth the 5 stars. Amazing

Three of us had roast Sunday lunch here. I had the beef, daughter had the chicken and son vegetarian. Very tasty and all cooked to perfection. Service was quick and friendly. Highly recommended

One of the nicest brunches in Hull. I ordered Marla's version of a full English and it was incredible, I also added a sausage patty as an extra which was lovely and I really enjoyed the halloumi and the Mediterranean twist. Forced in a cake as well which wasn't a mistake. It was also great to see lots of gluten free options on the menu.

We had a sunday dinner here and the food was delicious. Really flavoursome. Only problem was that it was overpowered by mustard. I am a keen fan of mustard and it was even too much for me. On the upside staff were lovely, nice decor and great music 👍🏼

Visited a few times for Sunday lunch. With my partner & son. We all love the dinners & believe the price to be reasonable as it is all fresh food. I love the passion fruit mimosa & my partner & son love they can pop to a near by bar for a pint to bring in. The staff are really helpful & friendly. Like others have said the on,y downside is the seats are not that comfy. 100% recommend this place

We came to see some friends in Hull, we came to Marla's for brunch and we'd heard about its great sandwiches and we werent disappointed! The food was great with the egg bacon and Halloumi sandwich that i had tasting amazing! Very reasonably priced for the quality of the service and food. Would recommend to anyone in the area

We originally went into Marla's for sandwiches and instead were greeted by a Sunday roast, I had the beef brisket roast dinner and the food was amazing, very quick service and very friendly staff who have been amazing both times we have been.

Love this place! My son and I visit often and are never disappointed. Food is excellent but not a lot of choices so if you want a huge menu, this isn't the place for you. What they do though is fabulous signature sandwiches on doorstop sized bread with imaginative fillings.

Breakfast was delicious, we all got something different and everyone's was great. They only did filter coffee so that might be a problem for some.

Visiting Hull, whilst the other half went shopping I did a bit of research on places to eat around Prince’s Av, where we’re staying. Marla’s came highly recommended and good lord the reviews ain’t wrong! This place is an absolute gem! I had the bubble & squeak and it was genuinely one of the best breakfasts I can ever remember having. Wonderful presentation and incredibly tasty food and a generous portion too. The service was excellent, friendly and relaxed. I will definitely be back to try more things on the menu!

Had Sunday Roast with my friend Craig. Big coffee jar, water, and a wonderful beef brisket (my friend had chicken brisket). Filling, with lots of veggies, gravy, and thick and rich mashed potatoes. We were so full we skipped dessert but it looked fantastic. The lind staff, extra helpful, made it possibile to enjoy it all in a very nice atmosphere. Grazie!

Had Marla's brunch and Sunday roast countless times, always 11/10 food at a decent price. Honestly best food in Hull. Went to an evening meal tonight for the first time. They change the menu every 1-2 months, and tonight was Jamaican tapas dishes. We ordered all 9 of them, and they were all amazing. Staff are always really warm and welcoming too. They also do sick apparel👌🏻

Stunning food and coffee. We sat inside for breakfast, I had the cooked breakfast, my partner the French toast with coffee. Extremely flavoursome and well considered meals, nothing too traditional or bland. Absolutely recommended as a special breakfast to take your time with. I can’t wait to try the afternoon or Sunday meals.

My friend and I had an early evening booking for small plates and cocktails. Neither my friend or I live in Hull and we wanted a place with good food and a cozy atmosphere so we could catch up and Marla's didn't disappoint. The staff were fantastic and the menu was great. The food was reasonably priced, came out promptly from the kitchen and was delicious. When I next visit I will be booking a table at Marla's again.

Absolutely amazing food, went for breakfast and had a bacon egg and haloumi sandwich which was fantastic but my wife had the granola which was the best thing we've both tasted in a long time, so much so that I had to order a bowl for myself. Also took a couple of sausage rolls away for later and they were the best sausage rolls we've ever had, the quality of the cooking and food presentation is top drawer, do yourself a favour and get yourself down there, also book for a Sunday lunch because they look amazing. First time visitors but it will not be our last.

Great vibe, great service and even better food! My weekend hasn't started unless I've had a Marla's breakie. I can now finish my weekend off right too, as they have started doing Sunday roasts. These bad boys are a MUST so book your table early 😍

An excellent addition to Princes Ave - if you can get in, it is popular! Breakfasts are generous and wholesome, dinners are sets of small plates that are harmonious and well balanced. Prices are very fair and the atmosphere is very relaxed but attentive to diners. Much recommended

I loved it ! Staff were lovely and friendly. Food was good and the service from the young lady (Miss 333 ✨️🙃) was awesome. Its quirky, trendy and has a nice feel to it. It is somewhere you could have a relaxed lunch, a chat or watch the world go bye.. I will definitely do it again 💯
