Worst fish supper ever from home delivery. Soggy batter, couldn't finish it. I wonder how long ago the fish had been fried as it tasted a bit off.

Just bought a fish supper for me and wife. Have never had such a supper. It was disgusting and I could not finish it. Don't know how long the fish had been sitting there before I bought it but it was dry and tasteless. Won't be back. Off to Romy's next time.

Will never buy from this place again. Terrible service and no reply to phone call. Run by this shop evertime.

Eaten from here a few times, always collected my own food. Tonight we decided on delivery via Just Eat. Big mistake. Food delivered 1hr 30min later than Marini’s advised it would be. When it arrived it was stone cold and not enjoyable. Very frustrating. Just Eat were great, good communication and apologetic on Marini’s behalf. Staff apparently rude. Won’t be going back in a hurry if at all.

Ordered by phone, for takeaway pizza. Told 10 mins till collection.Totally precise. Delighted to receive free portion of chips. Did not need or want bag: in unison we agrees it makes food soggy. WOW! Chicken and pepperoni pizza- light, on tomato d sauce - and and salted chips- straight from frier; par excellence.

Dreadfull food overcooked also tasted like it was cooked alongside the fish in the same oil sorry just not good.

We tried this place because of disappointing service at Romys recently - see my review. We ordered from Just Eat and were able to collect 20 mins later - a big plus! The food was good, chips not greasy at all and well cooked. Fish was good too, batter a little soft but that's probably because of the polystyrene box. I would say it's definitely worth a try - Romys needs some decent competition!!

Thought we'd try out this place give it a chance. Wish we hadn't. The burger was very overcooked and bun was so dried out. Fish seemed okay though. Biggest let down was we ordered 1tub of 250ml ice cream and 1tub of 500ml ice cream both were half full so we got tiny amount in each tub considering what we paid felt really disappointed and slightly conned. What ice cream was there was tainted by other flavours as seems scoops were not cleaned right so contaminated the other types. Was disgusting due to this so what little we got was binned. Only thing this place has going is the delivery man was very good with customer service. Won't be back and won't be recommending this place.

delivery was an hour later than stated by restaurant., so actually waited nearly 2 hours from when I had placed my order online, sorry but won't be using again

Restaurabt added 30 mind to delivery time and it was still 20 mins later than that waited over 1 hour 30 mins. Food qas cold and worst fish and chips ive ever tasted wont be using them again better off going elsewhere

Food was cold, I had to heat it up before I could eat it, delivery was later than stated, I used the track your order and according to the tracker my meal wash delivered at 6.15which was not the case, I was on my phone ready to call when my meal arrived 6.35,

Pizza came with spicy chicken rather than plain chicken that was ordered

Lovely meal as allways from marinis only problem was they delivered one less fritter then was ordered.

Total and absolute waste of time. Ordered my food at 5-40 was told it would be here at 6-40, 7pm I phone the shop to be told it's next to leave yet on the review page it says delivered!!!??? It's now 7-15 and still waiting!!! Wtf.......... definitely not be using again!!!

Turned up late but food is good!

I was very unhappy with the chippy we got last night. The pizza was awful! The sausage supper terrible! Chips were a little cold and soggy. Waited 1 hour and 45 minutes for delivery too! When I called after a hour and a half I was told they were busy. Mentioned to the delivery driver about the wait and he said "just for that that you have ordered? That's ridiculous." Which sounds to me that they actually weren't that busy. Didn't even offer me anything for the wait and when I tried to say I was very unhappy they didn't even say much not even a sorry. Don't think I'll be ordering again!

Took over an hour to get here and when it finally arrived the delivery guy had a horrible attitude ! Then when I got to open the food it was freezing ! Will definitely not be ordering from here again

Asked for it to be delivered at 1945 and also put a note at the bottom were u put allergy about the time i want it delivered clearly they dont read both sections my delivery was for my partner after his work and it turned up just after 7

Forgot a full meal from order so when that was finally delivered we ate separate. Food was ok.

Chips burnt or have been lying for ages so not hot and dry. Sausages are lovely though.

The pakora was deep fried to within an inch of its life too much batter on it wouldn't recommend it.

Delivery arrived Cold, I don't stay more than 5 minutes away so i dont understand why it arrived cold! definately need a new delivery driver if he cant even deliver food warm. Also paid extra for extra topping on the pizza - never got them. Will be the last time i order online. bad delivery & bad at reading orders

Was told that delivery would be an hour so I cancelled our order and the boss (I presume) called me within a few minutes and said please don't cancel we will send to you straight away which they sorta did, took 40mins for delivery which was ok but food was mediocre. Sorry but probably won't get from here again.

Very nice Haddock and Chips prepared and cooked to order. Not the the thin pre battered & frozen efforts some chippies do.

Good food delivered quickly

As much as the food was nice sadly due to the ridiculous time taken to deliver you lose the notion.

Took an hour and a half to arrive, when I called to ask where the food was the person answering was cheeky and it turns out they'd forgotten it. And when it did finally arrive it was cold. A real drop in service that's put me off reordering. I'll stick to Mr Chipz thanks.

Ordered food at 8:30 pm. Estimated delivery time was 9:55pm. I did not mind so much as it was a Friday night and knew it was busy. At 10:30 pm I phoned to enquire about my delivery. I could here the assistant ask someone about it. The assistant then told me that it was out for delivery. 11:10pm and still no delivery. Phoned again. Now they said that they never eceived the order and that they were now closed!

Order from this takeaway on a regular basis and the food is always fresh, hot and fast delivery.

Wrong order, a lower cost meal was substituted for one of my meal orders. After waiting over an hour it was not worth complaining and asking for a replacement. Overall it was a poor experience.

Moth found in portion of chips.

I order what I thought was a battered sausage but it came and was a smoked sausage. I phoned them up and they said aw yeah battered sausages comes under jumbo sausage!! How are people suppose to know that. So me and my wee girl had to wait a further 45 mins for them to send another one out.

Terrible customer service! Ordered good at 21.07, delivery time was for 21.50, this time came and went, phoned at 22.10 to be told my order was just leaving as they were to busy! Girl on the phone was extremely rude, still sat here at 22.30 with no food, first and last time we use this take away, terrible service! & the girl who answered the phone needs some training on manners, not one person has apologised for this shocking service.

as an experienced chip shop customer who has done 100 mile trips just to get a good supper this establishment serves up the worst chips in central Scotland. no matter how hungry you are don't waist your money as the food will go straight in the bin and you will still be hungry.

Went in to get the family dinner. Got home to find out the chips were cold and rubbery to a point you couldn't eat them. My whole family were disappointed and I phoned to say about it and the response was disgraceful. Worst customer service I've come across and its my field of work for 14 years. Been a couple of times before was always reasonable but nothing special but won't be back again.

Ordered 2l bottle of coke, got 1.75l. £2.30 for less juice. Think you should change the page and advertise correct amount and reduce price.

Fish was over cooked and broken into pieces to fit box ends of special fish breadcrumbs brick hard chips were also hard due to them being cold delivery time was changed by 20 mins but took another 20 mins on top driver called for directions to house number meal was very disappointing

I was expecting my delivery at 9 PM but it arrived at 8:30 PM Now THAT is good delivery! The Pizza (as always) was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. I seriously recommend ordering from these guys - you will NOT be disappointed - honest.

Home delivery quick, that's where the pluses end - chips (free with medium pizza) very greasy - very small quantity too - ok if you're starving. Pizza ? Had one slice as it was burnt ! Really didn't enjoy my one slice , stuck it in the bin, not terribly impressed. But quick delivery and delivery driver pleasant. Probably wouldn't use again.

Waited 1hrs 45 mins for 3 suppers. Called 3 times said it was in the way every call. Very poor service.

Pizzas from here are great, my partner ordered chicken pakora and it was overcooked, dry & hard so wouldnt recommend that. We also waited an hour and 20 minutes for delivery!

Fish was overcooked - dry and tasteless. Also what is the point of having notes when they are clearly not read. Asked for lots of salt and vinegar and the pickles to be separate. None of this was done. Chips were nice but the fish ruined it.

Chicken fillets are brilliant and so is the cookies and cream ice cream!
