Maddens Bar Antrim in Antrim

Amazing bar and restaurant. The owner Louise and her staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. We were a group of 30 and the hospitality was amazing. Lovely food. Great atmosphere. A really great evening. Thank you Louse!

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!! I went fairly recently and was dumptackled by a bar tender for trying to order a drink for no apparent reason. The police then said they could do nothing about it as they dont have CCTV. Sh*thole

Disappointing dinner. Started ok with lovely prawns. Mains was steak and was cold, sent it back and told them not to re heat as was already over done ( I'd ordered medium rare). By the time the 2nd steak came everyone else at the table had finished. Steak was well done and I think the original chips were refried so couldn't really eat any of it. Ordered dessert hoping to pull something back from the brink. Cheesecake was the consistency of mayo and the base was non existent. Have had food here over 30yrs and this is the worst I've ever had in any bar/restaurant. To be fair they discounted the 2 drinks but won't be eating here again.

The barman Chris pours the best pint of Guinness about , no complaints here . He is very courteous and takes his craft seriously 10/10 will be back

What a fantastic pub,restaurant the staff were brilliant thanks Christopher, and the food was delicious 😋 and great value for money.

I visited while visiting Antrim and had lunch. The bar was busy and the lounge area was quiet. The establishment was clean and tidy where staff were friendly and inviting. The food was value for money and there is something in the menu for everyone. Would return if in Antrim again. Although it was quiet staff remained busy working which I thought was worth sharing.

The staff were on great form. Nothing was too much to sort out. The meals were excellent. Great Sunday lunch. Roast beef melted in your mouth. Well done all.

Lovely Pub with a cozy atmosphere Good Food at a reasonable price They have a beautiful outside patio at the back looking over the river but was a little chilly to go sit Would def recommend

I would highly recommend maddens bar and restaurant..lovely interior..friendly staff..excellent food ..definitely worth five stars..Will be back again
