Attended Lough Erne Resort on two occasions and the only two it will be. Went for a day spa experience which had a package booked which included day spa and lunch included. Finished at the spa and proceeded to get our lunch at the restaurant, was not welcomed to the restaurant, had to stand for a while looking around while waiters/waitresses ignored our presence. Told the staff at the restaurant we had a lunch included in the spa package and the female waitress shut us down and stated that it wasn't included and was only a discount at the restaurant which was completely misleading as we booked it specifically to be included into the package price. When challenged about it the waitress was downright rude, immature and unprofessional - walked off and called a manager who then explained we were only allowed food worth no more than £10 per person. Then after the disagreement we were not took to our seats, left standing in the middle of restaurant and we had to ask can we be seated. All round poor service On the second visit to the hotel we had a voucher which was bought for us including 3 course meal in Catalina restaurant for 4 people We sat down, had our meal which was nice. Then asked for the bill and presented our voucher, to be then told that the voucher which was already paid for, for the price of 3 course meal for 4, was not enough and that extra money had to be paid. We were told the price of the voucher had decreased and to clarify, the time had not run out as we had used it within 12 months. The waiter told us we had to pay a service charge of £16 despite already using the voucher to be paid. Then suddenly he took the bill back to the manager and came back explaining there was an additional £30 on top of the £16 to be paid, adding to the voucher. The waiter could not explain what the additional £46 was, except from the service charge and we felt so uncomfortable and pressured into paying the "10% gratitude onto the bill" which is completely exploitative of already having paid for the meal through a voucher. Will not be back to this hotel, some downright rude, arrogant, unpleasant staff in both restaurants and I've never experienced such unprofessional behaviour from a so called 5* Hotel For anyone thinking of buying a voucher for someone, please ask does the voucher devalue overtime and will there be extra charges on your bill at the end of using it. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Stayed with my Mam for 2 nights as we were attending a family wedding. We got a lovely welcome from the doorman and this welcome was repeated at reception and by all the staff we met. Our room was very comfortable and we both slept well. There was a good shower and oodles of hot water. Breakfast was excellent, the food was delicious and there were so many options to choose from. All the staff were very attentive and professional my Mam who is in her eighties and slowing down said no one made her feel like an old woman she was made feel like any other guest which was really nice. There are lovely grounds for a stroll and it’s obviously very popular for golf and the Spa also seemed very popular. I enjoy a nice cocktail and Lough Erne did not disappoint it’s up there now on my top five list. We throughly enjoyed the wedding and again the staff did everything to ensure everyone one enjoyed themselves. Hope to get an opportunity to visit again and try out the Spa.

Visited lough Erne last weekend with my partner - room 125 under Devlin. I have always wanted to stay here as I often enjoy the historical sites in Enniskillen like Florencecourt. We stayed on sat night - checked in around 3.30pm so not to late - No door-man at all....so had to drag out our suitcases and no doorman even at the time of check-in so we had to carry our own suitcase to room. Any 5 star hotel who doesn't have a door-man is seriously lacking attention to detail. We checked in - and room was overall very nice. We had lough view room. The room was very warm considering I did turn off the heating but was still very warm and bathroom - for me thats fine as I like it warm - mid 20'sc but for anyone else this wouldn't be ok. We did a nice walk around the hotel estate and after went to the lounge area for drinks - Major issues here - 1. all young staff 19 year olds - anywhere that has largely such young staff in 5 star is always red flags for me as they obviously don't know or understand 5 star customer service. For example she brought us cheese board - no napkins or knife..saying that there was also 4 crackers so my partner had to go looking for her. The lounge area felt like being in a mums house - rather than a relaxing hotel lounge. The bar and lounge are next door so overall this area feels very small to stay in. After that I wanted to dine in the formal dining restaurant - I booked the grill but after seeing the 3 star reviews on it I didn't wish to dine there - I also see they changed the menu for the formal restaurant which suited me much better being pisctarian - HOWEVER when I looked at this restaurant before staying the menu was completely different. They told me they are fully booked - so I went to the grill room. The grill room NEEDS FULLY CLOSED ASAP. I would not allow another 1 person to go there if I was management. Food is so bad they can't even get a standard vegan burger right. Bill was around £130 for the worst steak my partner ever had and the worst burger I have ever had. We then went to the bar as they said music started at 9pm. The guy singing was good however he finished at 9.55pm....so we were left with zero entertainment on a Saturday night. Again the service in bar was all 19 year olds..I asked for grapefruit in gin - didn't bring it..then said she would get some and there is none. So I said thats ok I don't want drink..within 5 mins she found grapefruit. I wasn't being fussy but I drink gin with the correct garnish. Sunday morning - I had breakfast in the room as I couldn't be bothered with the 19 year old staff forgetting items. The food was better than dinner and overall we were happy with breakfast in room. When we checked out I seen there was 19£ charged for breakfast - I knew there was 10£ tray charge which was fine and clearly on their menu - however they charged 9£ for 2 cappucino's - I said to receptionist it did not state this on the menu - but she kept saying '' its normal in 5 star hotel for this ,filter coffee has no extra charge '' lol I only go to 5 star hotels so I can tell you this is first time I have been charged extra for the type of coffee I have. I couldn't be bothered arguing with her over 9£ - so we just paid. I want management to REFUND my partner and to correct their menu in room if this is the approach this wish to do. I do not mind being charged for something if its clear price but I wouldn't be charged for an item that does not state so on the menu - a coffee is a basic at breakfast. Overall if your a golfer and staying here just for golf im sure its fine 1-2 nights. For couples its terrible.

Called in for an afternoon refreshment and as it was busy inside with wedding guests and it was one of the few sunny days N.I. had this year we choose to sit outside on patio area. Our first table had spiders webs draping from the centre lamp down onto the table, we choose to move and the second table a marble/slate type only to discover after we sat down it was covered in bird poo. Some one certainly was not doing their job.

A special thanks to Billy for a fabulous tour of the grounds! Also Billy gave us tips as we went to County Leitrim the next day in search of our Mawn family history. Thanks to Billy we were able to stop by the Rainbow Room that used to be the dance hall in Glenfarne. One thing led to another and we met several locals who helped us discover a Mawn family home still (barely) standing on the main road. We cannot wait to return to this resort with our entire family. Thank you for the hospitality.

Lovely hotel with gorgeous grounds and views. The rooms have no AC, they do come with a fan but it doesn’t really help to cool down on a warm night.

This is a special place. The scenery is spectacular. The golf course is one of the best I've played anywhere, designed by Nick Faldo. The food is amazing. And the exterior and interior are beautiful. It's surprisingly good value too considering it's a spectacular visit.

I was a wedding guest at this location on Saturday, 29.06.24. A big thank you to Jordan & Katie, just two of our servers at table 11. While all of the serving team did a great job, I was most impressed by Jordan's food allergy awareness and how he ensured that nothing but gluten-free dishes were served to my wife. Katie was very friendly, attentive, and dependable. She was extremely good at her job despite her obvious young age. Thank you to their supervisor, Beverly, who directed her team in delivering a flawless dinner service.

This is the most wonderful hotel to stay in. Great location staff are really friendly. Rooms are big and. Great beds and kept spotless. Dining room is excellent great view. You can order your eggs as you would like them cooked. Tasting menu is fab and we had tom serving us he is excellent at his work. Great asset to the hotel nothing is too much trouble treats every diner as special. Well done to you made our stay for my birthday so special. There are wonderful grounds to explore. Altogether a wonderful place to stay.

Checked into the Lough Erne resort today and very disappointed with the service we got. I paid €227 for suite which I taught was in the hotel. we wore put into the lodge as we went to the lodge their was all laundry and dirty bags wore awaiting us and the lodge was 250 yards away from the hotel. so I asked could we get a room in the hotel and the reply was £60 pound extra even tho online it was cheaper and I said this and she said the price is what it is I can’t help you would not recommend. Also went for breakfast this morning and it was genuinely the worse breakfast I have had at a hotel!! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND STAY AWAY.

Visited the spa today. Thanks so much to all the girls for making me feel like a VIP. Lisa in the spa was fantastic and I thoroughly enjoyed my massage. We went to the Blaney Bar for food and again the service was great. Really helpful friendly staff and the food was good. I had a lovely relaxing day, thank you to all the staff I encountered. I'm sorry I didn't get everyone's names but those I did are below. Spa- Stephanie and Lisa Bar - Scott and Rachel

Three star at best. Wants to be high-end but misses the mark. If you pay to stay here and they have an event (wedding) you will be ignored and don’t expect to have a relaxing stay. This place may as well be in a loud city! Highly do not recommend it for the cost.

Lough Erne Resort is a gorgeous setting for a wedding. I've had the pleasure of photographing so many weddings here! The opulent building, both inside and outside transcends to the amazing landscaped grounds. The views are magnificent, especially at sunset at the reed bridge. If you are considering having your ceremony at Lough Erne Resort, I'd highly recommend an outdoor ceremony, the setting is sublime! The staff will ensure you and your guests receive fantastic service on your day. I'd highly recommend Lough Erne Resort for a wedding! www.darrynjbradley.co.uk

We had Sunday lunch. Lovely prawn cocktail to start. Plenty of prawns, nice side salad and two triangles of wheaten bread. We both had roast lamb which was very lean and tender. It was served with delicious stuffing, two scoops of potato, cabbage, carrot and parsnip, a roast potato and gravy and chips served in separate dishes. I was stuffed after that and had a couple of spoonfuls of my husband's Pavlova. Needless to say, I didn't eat anything all night. A tasty meal. Service good too

Oh my goodness. I can't rave about this place enough, except I'm short on time so will make it brief! It was everything I hoped for and more. My husband surprised me by turning up here on Monday and wow, what a fantastic way to spend our 4th wedding anniversary! The forest spa was divine, jumped into the lake, cycled the forest, the vegan menu was delicious, we had a bath under the stars. Bed was lux! Vegan brekkie was sooo good! Being surrounded in nature the whole time totally relaxed us all day. I adored every second. And everyone seemed to know it was our anniversary! We were treated so well, thank you so much, we want to come back again!
