Found this excellent tea stop by chance whilst searching for objet d’art. Glad we did. Locally sourced ( I hate that phrase) coffee and great tasting home made sausage rolls. We were pleased and so was Frank the Dog with his morsel of our sausage rolls. The Blondie (again home made) was also a real treat.

It seems there is a new owner running the tearooms, so thought I would give it a go. The selection of food/baked goods on offer is really nice, and everything looks and tastes homemade. Had a very pleasant experience, very friendly service. Would highly recommend, wonderful food, friendly service and very reasonable prices!

Superb coffee, friendly staff, and honestly the best homemade sausage roll that I have ever tasted. A delightful spot to rest between scouring all the antiques and collectibles in this massive store.

Great sausage rolls , wraps, good hot coffee and it’s reasonably priced. Staff are helpful and polite. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

Lovely little tea room in the corner of looses emporium. Great atmosphere the lady who owns it is so welcoming and has a large selection of specialised, locally produced drinks. With delicious cakes, savouries all freshly baked and made on site, served on quaint sandwich plates and tea served if you wish in tea pot. A lovely stop for a break whilst shopping for a vintage find.

Wow!! What a transformation this place has had, It looked rather dated previously but now it’s gleaming and clean. It’s got nice white chairs now with lovely vinyl top tables. The Lady that’s now running this Tea Room (Tina) certainly knows her talents and shows them off in her baking. To name a few we tried were Chocolate Brownies, Lemon Blueberry Blondie, Carrot Cake. There was also options for Vegan and Gluten Free visitors too. There was a large range of Teas on offer and as I’m 1 for Fruity tea it made my day. My good friend loves his coffee and he says the latté was so nice and was from fresh grounded coffee beans. You do have to wander through the antiques Emporium to find the place but what a little gem to find, not a greasy spoon at all, drinks served in china cups and saucers and cakes on china plates too. All in all a lovely experience and can’t wait to come back! Well done Tina 😃

Lovely cafe with friendly staff and delicious food and coffee. Seating inside and outside. Breakfast, brunch and lunch with a healthy emphasis and a bit of effort put in to make the dish special. You can also get sausage/bacon rolls and similar if you like. The cakes looked amazing but I was too full up to try one. Really good vegan and gluten-free options.

It was a cold and bad day on a Wednesday I believe, me and the kids where looking for a bite to eat but everything around us was extremely busy or shut. Fortunately, there was a small area under the bridge that was open. Mums little kitchen provided brilliant service, giving us fresh food and fast. This resulted in happy kids and full bellies. Mum’s little kitchen not only gave us a good meal, but a good escape from the bustling feeling of other food establishments.

A brilliant chippy. All food is cooked to order. It's fresh & fabulous. The batter on the fish is lovely & crisp & the fish perfectly cooked. Not too greasy. And now a weekly treat!

We visited the Hidden Chef last night as we wanted to enjoy the experience one last time, and to support Dean and Co in their last weekend at the Brasserie. Once again the food was exceptional and the atmosphere friendly and welcome. We will miss having this wonderful restaurant on our door step but are delighted that we will be able to savour Deans delights from the Deli. Good luck in your new ventures , you deserve every Success these bring ❤️
