Lezzets Turkish restaurant in Middlesbrough

Amazing food, lovely welcoming staff and great service. The food was 10/10 and the decor was beautiful. Will definitely be going again soon.

My wife and I went for a long walk and ended up on Linthorpe Road where there are a lot of eating places. We'd never been to Lezzet's before and chose it because we like Turkish food. The decor and environment was excellent with some dramatic images of Turkey. The lighting fittings very attractive, and the background music appropriately oriental without being intrusive. It was a quiet, early lunchtime and there were few people there. Consequently, we were served rapidly and had time to chat with the waiter (who was the owner). Our service was quite remarkarkable. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. Indeed, when ordering meze, he suggested that we'd ordered too many, so we reduced the number. Now, that's what I call helpful. We ended up with four meze and Turkish bread which was more than enough for lunch. The food was excellent, and the sigara boregi (fried filo pastry stuffed with fetta) was divine. The final bill for the lunch for two with beer was about £35 which is excellent. The menu was eclectic serving Turkish food, as well as pizzas and the famous Middlesbrough Parmo. We very much enjoyed our lunch at Lezzet's and will return. Both the service and the food couldn't have been better. I would unreservedly recommend it.

Fantastic authentic Turkish food with something for everyone, we had pide and lamb shish kebab, both were excellent. Chocolate cake is fab too! Cesur and the team are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. We hope to be back soon, thank you!

I have visited this restaurant many times and it is an absolute gem of place! Brilliant staff who are just so warm and welcoming and go that extra mile to make you feel welcome. The food is absolutely outstanding and priced excellently - just superb and flavourful meals that are generously portioned. The ambience of the place is brilliant too so a big shout out to the owner and everyone who works there who make Lezzets the special place it is.

Went for a friends birthday, I have never been to a turkish restaurant before, I am picky with food, but I have got to say how beautiful the food was, hot and beautiful flavours, I will definitely be returning.

I absolutely cannot fault a single thing about this place! Beautiful authentic food, amazing staff and fabulously priced for the exceptional quality of the cuisine. Made for a very enjoyable birthday meal, thank you Erdil and Cesar!

We are become regulars to this little known gem of a restaurant, love the choice of Mediterranean dishes from Turkey and Italy. Always get a warm and friendly welcome from all the staff, nothing is too much trouble. This was the first time I had tried Lezzet's Parmo could not fault it, it could be the best Parmo I have had on Teesside and my wife is now becoming addicted to the Turkish pide which is better tasting form of pizza.

What a fabulous place! The food is fantastic as is the service. I highly recommend a visit for some very authentic Turkish food. The 'chicken shish kebab' was so tender and tasty, also don't leave without trying the 'Baklava' delicious! Can't wait to go back again.

I was a bit apprehensive about going in after my last visit but realised that the restaurant had changed hands. This is the 3rd reincarnation for this place over the last few years. The welcome was a lot warmer than the weather outside. The food was well above average Turkish although this restaurant also offers a few Italian dishes. The fresh bread was as big as a football but much lighter. All in all, I have a feeling that the restaurant which opened at the end of 2023 under the direction of its new owner, Cesar, will last a lot longer than the previous ones.

This restaurant is absolutely amazing. The staff very friendly the food fantastic. We have never had such tasty food before. Mixed grill is a must and the desserts out of this world. Will let family and friends know about this restaurant. Can’t wait to visit again next weekend.

Hidden gem in Middlesbrough. Every bite full of flavour, the food is cooked traditionally and felt like I was back in Turkey. Highly recommend

Our first visit to Lezzet’s and we will be returning very soon. The food was delightful and the staff could not do enough for us. We sat close to the kitchen so it was nice to see a variety of delicious looking food going out the kitchen. Eat our a lot but never leave reviews but this place deserves one.

This restaurant has character & style it takes me back to my holidays in Turkey .. the lights , the wall murals great ! The atmosphere is very relaxed & from walking inside you feel very welcome . The music is soft background music, so you can listen & hear each other . The staff are so attentive & cannot do enough for you ... regularly asking if you are ok or need anythg . Menu very varied & would suit everyone's taste . Children's menu the same . This is a new venture & I really hope they do well , they certainly deserve to Me & my friends will definitely be back & I strongly recommend others to try it 😋... you won't be disappointed!!!

My wife and I visited for an early dinner before the theatre. We ate the two course set meal. The food was great and the service was attentive and friendly. The portions were more than enough. Draught EFES went down a treat.

Visited here with some friends..the staff were all really friendly and chatty.the atmosphere was great, there was a singer for entertainment aswell..the food was amazing, piping hot when it arrived.will definately be coming back
