Saturday evening we went for a meal 1 of our friends had a elergic reaction to a prawn dish he was served WE had to call an ambulance to the restaurant we charged full price of £222 with no remorse as we were attending our friend nobody ate there meals disgrace I thought as all they want was there money quess what we won't be back avoid at all costs

Esta sería nuestra segunda visita a este restaurante con mi hijastro Jason y su esposa Sarah. Estábamos celebrando el cumpleaños de mi madre de Jason. Pudimos aparcar el coche fuera del restaurante. Nos recibieron y nos llevaron a nuestros asientos. Preguntamos qué nos gusta beber mientras exploramos el menú de emence. Para empezar, pedimos la fuente para cuatro y una porción de panceta de cerdo. El plato principal teníamos rape en salsa de crema de maíz, satay de ternera, pollo y pimientos verdes con salsa de frijoles negros y pollo con fideos. También tomamos poción de patatas fritas y arroz hervido. Todas las comidas servidas bien calientes por un excelente personal de servicio. Los miembros del personal verificaron regularmente si todo era de nuestro agrado y si queríamos bebidas adicionales. Normalmente tomaba fotos de las comidas como lo hago normalmente, pero estaba tan ansioso por comenzar que lo olvidé por completo. Ver foto de platos vacíos. El personal fue muy atento con nosotros. Los tamaños de las porciones también son geniales. Recomiendo encarecidamente este restaurante si en la zona. Viajamos desde Ards y valió la pena.

We hadn't booked and so we a 'walk in' on a Saturday lunch....and it was great....super food, great selection and the Dim Sung was good as were the dumplings.......welcoming and friendly staff....would certainly go back again....thank you.

For traditional chinese dim sums in belfast this is a good place to visit. Friendly service + plus good foods. A few negative reviews on here about the service. but i couldnt see any issue myself, been goin to it for years.

Always a great spot for friends gathering and really love their cuisine. Brought my family there as well and I am glad they like it. Will always be my fav spot for Chinese cuisine in Belfast.

从爱尔兰访友过来，中午孩子饿了吵着要吃点心，找了半天才找到一家粤式餐馆。到的时候大概1点半，等了差不多20分钟才有空位。店里桌子挨得很近，把我们安排在靠近厨房门口的桌子，进进出出人很多，还好我们带着口罩。等餐很久才上来，口味很一般，比冰冻速食食品好一些。厕所非常脏，我差点吐出来，让我怀疑他们的卫生条件也不一定好。服务很香港，爱答不理，很不适应。吃饭的人香港人居多，邻桌的食客对我们翻了几次白眼，很让人生气。

Lee Gardens refuse to serve people who cannot speak their language. This afternoon me and my friends went to Lee Gardens to have lunch at around 1.30 pm. The customers were many as usual and we stood in queue waiting for service. When it came to us, they might regard as Hong Konger and spoke to us with their language, but I said I cannot understand please say in English. The man ( I guess the owner) rolled his eyes at me and said I would not serve you today. Then he just started to serve people behind me. I asked why but he refused to tell the reason regarding me as nothing. It is soooo ridiculous! Anyone know how to report this restaurant? I totally cannot accept it. I know all the restaurants were busy for now due to the policy, but I had never been treated like this in Belfast

I went to the Lee Garden this afternoon for a table for two. This is the third time I went there for a meal, I tried to book a table in advance last week when we finished the meal, that's how we used to book tables for dinner. They told us they would be quite busy during the afternoon period, and I just need to turn up and wait for the table, no need to reserve it. So I did. There was a queue in front of us when we arrived this afternoon, we had patiently waited until we came to the front. The three Asian girls(possiblly Indians) waited in front of us were told there was no table for 3, they were turned away. After they left disappointedly, we came to the front, a middle age man behind the reception told us there was no table available, we then turned around and told the three women behind us the same word the man told us. What suprised us was the man said directly to the three women behind us there would be table for them. I asked the three women behind us whether they had booked a table already, they said no. I was quite shock and felt terrible about the receptionist's attitude and the way we and the three Indian girls in front of us were treated. It is the worst service i ever had. They seems refused any colored people requested seats and tables. They were very impatient when i asked questions and confronted them why they treated us differently. The other server who served us the other day, looked at us and was sympathetic but unable to help. I am afraid he was very confused by the situation as well. It is clearly they treated us very difference with other white people. This is the worst racism experience I ever had in a restaurant where all customers should be treated equally. They didn't tell us the reason why we were unable to get a table while the three white women behind us can get one, we were politely waited in a queue to be served, but what we got was being ignored. I will never go back to this restaurant again, I would urge anyone who hasn't been to this restaurant never try it.As a Asian, i had never face any discrimination in any restaurants in UK in my 12 years experience because i try to be good manner with everyone. However, this restaurant made me sick of it. I am very angry and disappointed. It's very unusual to have such bad manner and racial discrimination restaurant in Belfast. If you are colour and non white, i suggest you to avoid this restaurant because you are definitely getting very bad service.

Most of the customers appeared to be of Chinese ethnic origin which I took as being a good sign on arrival. It proved to have been a correct omen. I enjoyed tasty Hot and Sour Soup followed by delicious Sechuan King Prawns in Sizzling Sauce. I found their Qingdao Beer 4.7%, brewed in Qingdao, is more enjoyable than the 2.8- 3.2% version mostly available in China. The staff is friendly and efficient. I recommend they all should wear face masks or visors for mutual protection. Would I go again? Emphatically YES!

Came here last week for lunch. Staff could be a bit more welcoming and friendly. Menu was okay. I had my usual char sui meat etc which was good.

I am the only person here because people,especially chinese are scared of coronavirus.Anyway I ordered 3 course business lunch at 7.95. A steal really..The smoked chicken starter is small but excellent.I had chicken curry and fried rice for main. Again small but lovely.Fruit salad desert cool to finish off. Very satisfying meal and price.

When we visited lee garden the waiter was the most awkward person and the service was not good nevermind the ladies bathroom was terrible because every time you put on the tap the water would squirt everywhere

The food was very good, the portions were a good size, the service was very good and a check was made to make sure all was ok. The atmosphere was very nice and relaxed.

We arrived on Saturday night at 7:30 got one drink and waited a 35 minutes for anyone to come near us. Really bad service, we then left and pay for drinks and not even an apology. We will not be back.

My family and I regularly go to Lee Garden for dim sum. The staff are helpful and the manager often comes over to see if everything is OK. We find the food of good quality at good prices. It's my grandchildren's favourite place to eat.

While visiting Belfast my wife and I decided to have some dinner at this highly rated restaurant.The table next to us was obviously employees and friends of the family. They received unprecedented service and were fawned over the entire time we were there. We otherwise we’re basically ignored and had to request several items including serve ware and water.Many, many, many other options in this beautiful city.Do not give them your business. I did give the person at the desk my feedback on the way out in a polite and direct fashion.

Can be a bit of a hit and miss. Sometimes the meal is only warm and the rice is bland. The restaurant has lots of capacity with an upstairs seating area. Average prices with rest of Donegal pass Chinese restaurants. Dim sums are good. Meat dishes like belly pork and char siu can be very fatty. Order from the Chinese lunch menu which is better value than the English ?a la carte. Staff friendly enough, but we are regulars

Place is pretty average. Some staff especially some of the waitresses are not attentive. Prices are reasonable but food is really average, not much taste. My sweet and sour chicken was not good. Dim sum was nice though. Also, one of my relatives ordered either the fish or chicken and chips. You can tell from a mile away that it had been frozen.

Have been eating Dim Sum at the Lee Garden for years and it's sad to see it slowly go downhill. The food is still great but the decor and service haven't had an update in over a decade. The high staff turnover shows in inexperienced teens confused in the frenzied atmosphere.

Hadn't been here in years and went with my mum and teenage daughter. The place really needs redecorated, dated and run down looking. Table booked for 6pm and even though it was August the place was freezing cold. Had to aak for the air conditioning to be turned off. However the food was lovely and the service was good.

we arrived at 7pm as booked our food arrived at 8.10. the food was good but to make small children wait that long is unacceptable. we saw a coach party of chinese people arrive, eat their meal and leave before we were served.

Have been going here for over 10 years for dim sum usually on a Sunday. However the dim sum is now much smaller and expensive than it used to be, which represents poor value.

Nuestros servidores inmediatamente trajeron canastas de galletas de gambas y el menú para usarlas previamente. Las bebidas fueron ordenadas y traídas mientras miramos la extensa lista en el menú. La carta de bebidas también era extensa. El vino de la casa era menos de 14. 00 que fue encantador. La comida llegó y se colocó en el perezoso suzy y fue inmenso. No sabía qué pedir y les pedí que me sorprendieran. Era un plato chino o Char Sui. Fue excelente. Todos probamos los platos uno de los beneficios de un perezoso suzy. Cada plato que probé era excelente. Me alegro de que nunca hayamos pedido entrantes, ya que no hubiéramos terminado el plato principal. Me doy cuenta de que algunos clientes se llevan allí sin terminar con ellos. El menú desierto parecía fabuloso pero pasamos eso. Terminé con un café irlandés que estaba bien hecho. Los camareros eran muy atentos y discretos, ya que parece que nunca los viste llevándose nuestras placas terminadas a mano si querías algo. Nos aseguraremos de volver a este restaurante en el futuro. Me gustaría probar el dim sum. No vengas aquí si no tienes hambre, ya que lo llevarías a casa.

Wow. We visited here just last week for lunch. The staff are okay and prices. I had the belly pork which was rock hard and cold in the middle, the noodles and rice which were nice. However, the decor is stale, I mean it's been the same seats, tables etc for over the past 10 years. Lee Gardens need to renovate it needs to change.

¡El mejor restaurante de dim sum en Belfast por más de una década! Si ha estado en Hong Kong y ha probado el dim sum, le encantará encontrar la comida auténtica en Lee Garden. Durante más de 10 años hemos estado yendo a almorzar los fines de semana a este restaurante ocupado (siempre es un buen indicador de un buen restaurante). Esta Semana Santa tuvimos la oportunidad de probar la combinación de dim sum de una estrella Michelin llamada Tim Ho Yuan en el área de Sham Shui Po en Hong Kong, y descubrimos que en realidad preferimos los sabores de varios platos en Lee Garden a los de Hong Kong, excepto Los dos platos de la firma, pan de cerdo a la parrilla y bizcocho al vapor esponjoso.

I took a client to this place for a lunch. In summary, surroundings, food, drinks etc all fine. The young male waiter though really let the place down. He virtually flung the knives and forks on the table, grumped at telling us the bottled beer selection and was individually responsible for spoiling what was an otherwise pleasant meal. Why does the catering trade employ such people? They are clearly unsuited to the job. I will not be back .

I have been there several times and their customer service has never been the best. However I went there couple of days ago with my partner and I accidentally spilled some tea on the ground. I kept apologizing while the waiter were cleaning it and the manager came over and asked who did it and the waiter pointed at me and I apologized again to the manager and the manager seemed very angry at me. We said “thank you” to the manager when we were leaving the restaurant and he still seem pissed and didn’t even look at me. I understand I did bring them inconvenience because they don’t have a mop but having a restaurant means accidents like this happens. Never going back there and won’t recommend this restaurant because no one deserves customer service like that.

Visited on a Sunday for Dim Sum with friends. The restaurant was full as soon as it opened at 12 which is a good sign. Great selection of dim sum at a very reasonable price. We hope to visit again soon

We called in before heading to a show and were lucky enough to get a table without booking ahead. Staff are friendly, courteous and efficient. We were both extremely happy with our choices of starters and mains.... (no desert required.... big portions) but I have to mention the seafood sizzling plate which was outstanding. The prices are also very reasonable for so close to city centre. Highly recommended.

Our family's go to dim sum venue. They have picture dim sum menu for those who aren't sure what dim sum is. Making it more accesible for dim sum novices!

Service was great, very friendly. Food was average which was unfortunate as the restaurant was nice which is what had swayed us. Starter was quite greasy, main unfortunately bland, egg fried rice was also greasy.

Lovely food of good quality husband likes to get a sirloin steak unfornatley they no longer do them I know most ppl go for chinesse food myself included but he was disappointed however wat we did get was really nice x

Sunday night and we were starving, last resort was this restaurant. Went for £19 set menu. Prawn crackers were fresh and fine. Portions sizes good. Both dishes looked the same - hmm. We couldn’t read the menu because of very poor lightening and had to use the torch on our phone. It was very cold inside and ended up eating with our coats on. I think the darkness was deliberate to hide the dirty, faded decor. In and out in 40 minutes

As I have written before, I live in Derry and as such can only get quality Dim Sum from this wonderful restaurant. This time I tired of the four hour bus ride and four taxis in the past so I paid my nephew and his wife to come to Belfast and pick up my order. Only a few pounds more and much more pleasant for all of us as some shopping was also involved. I ordered 15 orders of Siu Mai andf fifteen orders of Har Gow. These wonderful dumplings are the best that I have ever enjoyed from all over the world for over fifty years. I freeze these dumplings and my wife and I enjoy them at least once a week. Eight minutes in a bamboo steamer and they are as delicious as served table side in the restaurant. If you want the best Dim Sum possible treat yourself and visit this wonderful restaurant.

Pedimos los palitos de pollo para empezar era encantador. Salió con las galletas de gambas. . . mordido en uno y sabía que estaban almacenados en un ático desde el incendio de Belfast (no los comas). Comfortable restaurant that gives the solo diner the perfect ammount of attention and respect being watched for an empty plate or glass but never pestered or made to feel rushed.

Really enjoyed our meal at the Lee Garden, the food was excellent, the service extremely efficient at all times and the value excellent. The three course lunch menu is just £6.95. The food portions were good, and everything was well presented. I’d definitely go back!

Venimos aquí tanto como podemos para dim sum totalmente delicioso, maravilloso personal muy agradable y acogedor. Usted se va sabiendo que ponen un gran esfuerzo en el servicio y el ambiente de un restaurante familiar, nada es demasiado problema. Una experiencia totalmente increíble, por eso viajamos 28 millas para venir aquí.

Habiendo pasado muchas veces a lo largo de los años, finalmente me encontré en el interior de las enormes ventanas de vidrio. Ahora, no me malinterpretes, es probable que el lugar tenga un poco de renovación en el interior y la comida no fue la más sabrosa que he probado nunca, pero tengo que juzgar el precio, valor por dinero, servicio y tamaño de la porción, y ciertamente obtendré mi voto sobre todos esos.

The food is just typical chinese flavour that you would get from other chinese restaurant in Belfast. Same with the pricing.

We called in here for lunch and were pleasantly surprised. Well - a 3 course Lunch for £6.95 why wouldn't you? There were about a dozen choices from the starter menu and another dozen from the main course menu. We had deep fried garlic mushrooms to start and then chicken & mushroom in black bean sauce and a curry noodle dish with prawns beef and chicken. The starter portions were small but the main courses were plentiful and delicious - and fried rice did not cost extra - other restaurants please note! The sweet menu was limited to about 4 items or you could have tea or coffee. My bottle of beer was £3.55 and the apple juice £2.30 - a bit steep but they have to make their money somehow. We would definitely go back here again.

Heard a lot of people say this place was good and I have walked past it certainly many many times - looks good from the outside. Maybe its what we ordered. The Dim Sum wasn't bad - the Duck and Char Sui Pork came over cooked on its plain bed of rice. I can get delicious basic BBQ at a place round the corner and be Happy. Asked for the table to be wiped as it was sticky and the waiter said that's just the way they were. Was busy place but for me one of the worst dining experiences in a while.

Situated in the University area this restaurant produces good Chinese food at very reasonable prices. With large picture windows onto the street it is a good place to eat and watch the world go by. Served on immaculate white China the food is good and plentiful. The staff very friendly and the meals are not overpriced. Large menu caters for most tastes in Chinese cuisine. Would definitely eat here again.

Great Chinese food well cooked good service and inexpensive. I am sure they must have a Chinese menu which would be so much better with more subtle flavors.

We've eaten here many times before in the past becuase: the place is well decorated, clean and the staff are friendly. The menu has got a huge variety of food at good prices. The service is quick too. My party just shared the delicious food. (Cha siu and Cha siu bao, etc)

We were at Lee Garden for dinner and thought our main dish (chicken with garlic & scallion) was quite good, as were the har gao. The won-ton soup was surprisingly tasteless (especially the broth), and the service was oddly slow considering that the place was nearly empty.

On a beautiful summers evening we ended up having a meal here at Lee Garden I can honestly say the food was great as was the service. I had the hot an sour soup to start with which was a good as I ever had anywhere. I followed duck in plum sauce my wife had a sizzling beef dish the beef was very tender and had superb flavour Finhished of with green tea. I am already looking forward to going back - soon I hope Highly recommended with excellent service

I have yet to eat actual Chinese food in Belfast, this place was recommended to me about 6 years ago as a place to go and have "dim sum" and every so often I am reminiscent of large banquet halls in Sydney with their shiny trolleys loaded up with delicious treats.

This is a nice restaurant in the busy Botanic area. The food is good and the portions reasons at a good price. The staff are attentive and friendly, special call out to Oscar from Hong Kong who was very good.

He ido a este restaurante un par de veces y volveremos porque encontré que la comida es muy sabrosa. Además, el personal es muy cortés, atento y ninguno de sus peticiones parece ser un problema. En mi última visita me estaba tratando de alimentos que nunca había probado antes, como los de duros y pollo frito2 y sopa dulce y agria, así como un postre que había sido hecha de coco! El Lee Garden es un lugar luminoso y ventilado y también los asientos son cómodos.

Same old Chinese food in northern ireland .... all ordered from same wholesaler....maybe if these Chinese restaurants actually put some effort & inspiration into their cooking it might make it interesting ... ice cream on menu was described as luxurious... lol

We visited this restaurant on 6th May. When we arrived we were asked to wait 5 mins for a table. Whilst we were waiting another couple arrived and asked for a table for two and were shown straight to their table. Very poor service & rude. We walked out and found another restaurant 5 mins down the road.

Had high hopes of this restaurant. Us, being a middle aged white couple, went in on Sunday evening & were asked to wait 5 minutes for a table, not a problem, until two Chinese men walked in shortly after & were offered a table straight away! We walked out

Excellent meals provided for myself and my wife before we went out for the night. The chicken satay and crispy noodles were delicious and very filling.

This time I took my Son in law from New York via the bus from Derry to Belfast. We arrived about an hour after they opened on a Thursday and the place was packed with Asian customers. (Always a good sign). I ordered 12 portions of Sui Mai and Har Gow as a carry out for when we would leave. I also ordered two portions for us to eat while we waited. The food came quickly and even before we had finished our meal the carry out was at our table. My SIL and I were stuffed on just 3 of the 4 Sui Mai and Har Gow dumplings, they are so big. So in additional to my 24 orders of Dim Sum we had a few more dumplings to take home. The bill was quite reasonable, just over £100 for what will be six months of frozen Dim Sum for my wife and I. My SIL and I took a taxi, ordered by the Lee Garden staff, back to the bus station and after a two hour bus ride back to Derry we went home with our Dim Sum that was enjoyed by my DIL, my wife, and a visiting friend, The quality of these wonderful dishes by this restaurant are the best I have ever eaten all over the world. I love to cook Chinese food but I will never try to make Dim Sum again. I'll jump on a bus to Belfast first.

Most of the customers are Cantonese / Chinese which says a lot. This is the place to go for authentic Chinese cuisine. You will get typical Chinese service (just a cultural thing so get over it), but in terms of food this place is sensational which is why I gave it 5 stars. The dim sum is incredible.

Visit very often either for business or relaxing. Would recommend Rice Noodle Seafood Combination...

I have always loved chinese food but lately the I have been struggling to find some that wasnt full of grease and made me feel sick! We went here on recommendation and I can honestly say it is the best chinese food I have ever eaten! You could tell the food was cooked fresh. Batter was light and the rice was properly cooked like I remember from chinese restaurants when I was little! You could have eaten the rice on its own there was so much flavour in it! The best thing was that it didnt leave you feeling absolutely stuffed and unable to move! 10/10

Estaba un poco preocupado después de leer algunas de las críticas, pero no tenía nada de qué preocuparse. Llamamos antes para decir que sólo tenía una hora para comer y tenían una mesa esperando por nosotros (estaba lleno) y nos sirve realmente rápido. La comida era deliciosa, caliente, excelente relación calidad-precio, buen servicio. . Volveremos! !

Lo peor de este restaurante es la comida. Teníamos entradas y platos principales y todo parecía y parecía cubierto de cieno. Comimos muy poco y he pagado mucho por él, sin duda nunca regresaremos y aconsejaría a otros!

Wir haben dort für etwa 7€ pro Person das Mittagsmenü gegessen, was aus Vorspeise, Hauptgericht und Nachtisch, Tee oder Kaffee besteht. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist deshalb gut, denn die Portionen waren groß. Nur der Kaffee ist gar nicht zu empfehlen, da es billiger Instantkaffee war.

Fuimos con nuestros parientes chnese desde los Estados Unidos. Se clasificó el restaurante por la calidad de la comida y el ambiente auténtico. Excelente comida y un servicio atento. Una gran noche si te gusta la comida china muy bueno.

The food was very good, the atmosphere quite nice and quite well frequented. However I was seated upstairs away from any other customers--not by choice btw. The two servers were busy cleaning and setting tables but not perceptive enough to know a customer was ready to order. I had the 3 course lunch, chicken curry, that was VERY well prepared. I waited for the server to notice I was ready for the last course and again she busied herself with clearing and setting other tables. I have been a server many times in my life so I didn't wish to be a demanding customer. After waiting 10 minutes, I got up took my plate over to the server, handed it to her and asked for my fruit dish please. She complied immediately and got the fruit. There was no apology for waiting so long. I finished walked downstairs and paid for my meal. All I can say is go for the delicious food but DO NOT LET THEM SEAT YOU UPSTAIRS!

A modern take on a restaurant. The seating was comfortable and the service good once you had attracted a waiter/ess. I enjoyed my hot and sour soup but the prawn fried rice was so well oiled that it nearly slipped off my plate!!I doubt if I would go back.

I've been in here with a friend tonight for food and drinks, the food was amazing, freshly cooked and really tasty. I'd of given 5* but the Guinness was out of a can.

I ate here solo in June 2017. There were no problems - I ordered, my meal came, I ate, and it was good. The surroundings were nice - light and airy, high ceiling with upstairs gallery. The food was pretty good, I asked for chopsticks which were quickly provided of course, and I managed pretty well. I'll come back here if I return to Belfast.

This is a hidden gem of a Chinese restaurant. The quality of food being as good as any I've been to round the world. Excellent dim sum with a great variety of the tiny dumplings. And a very friendly staff.

Went for a Chinese takeaway for lunch , ended up waiting 40 minutes with not even an apology from the manager. Food was good but I'd go elsewhere for quicker service. Wasted my whole lunchtime waiting (and no dip for the cuttlefish cakes!).

One of the few places in Belfast that offer dim sum. Definitely recommend a visit for that, plenty on offer and all delicious. It's only available from 12-5pm, outside these times it's the usual asian takeaway fare- nothing too exciting. You have the option to take your leftovers with you.
