Traditional chippy with great food and super clean. Only let down by an atmosphere between staff..

Says open but closed . Worst place ever

Beautiful food and excellent service.

Got fish and side salad..the fish was a little tough on the ends but the rest of it was tasty.salad was super fresh 👌 delicious although missing the cheese and pineapple which I was looking 4ward to.small portion for the price but will be back

Chips and burger were really bland especially for the price. The lady at the till was really arrogant and couldn’t be bothered

We ordered two chicken burgers, a curry chip and a chip, pea, stuffing and gravy. The total came to £19. We had heard that Landis food has taken a severe nose dive but we were shocked by how horrible the food was. Both chips had no flavour and the stuffing tasted as though it had went off. I'm pregnant and didn't feel safe eating it. The chicken was so dry it was inedible. We won't ever eat at Landis again. Uncle Sam's is a far superior chippy with better prices.

Lovely food and very good service

I popped in about 9pm and asked for a single batter sausage and chips. The poor girl looked at me like I had 2 heads. So after 35 minutes waiting, I kid you not, I got a nice large bag and trundled back to the car, expecting the feast from Hades. Not so. 21 chips and a battered sausage about 4 inches long. A fiver it cost. 5 bloody pounds. Don't get me wrong, it was quite delicious, I can see why it was so busy. Busy shop for rich people who want a taste of working class food for an extortionate price. It's a sad reflection that people seem to be able to justify their penny pinching by saying 'Oh it's because of Covid, everything's changed. Well, I tell you this, value for money hasn't changed, and neither has the attitude of people like me. I am a good and honest man, I believe in a fair return for a fair cash demand. I believe if someone gives you a product you have asked for and charges you a fair price, you owe it to them to pay it and if you're reviewing it to be fair. I have been more than fair. I am happy to say that if I want to be thimble fed, I'll get reincarnated as a puppy. I won't waste a single penny here again. Very disappointing even though the little food I got was delicious. And over priced. And 24 minutes later that it should have realistically been. Not another shining penny shall go their way.

I ordered scrambled egg on toast, it came with a few chips. If that's your bag you'll love it, me, I wasnt impressed as chip grease tasted the eggs and I didn't like that. Other half has an all day breakfast, he seemed happy enough. Staff very pleasant.

My wife and I where passing through and decided to stop for a feed. My wife had the Mexican burger and myself the full fry. We were welcomed at the door and shown to our table. The food was ready in minutes was hot and very tasty. The staff are very friendly and made sure we had sauces drinks ect. I will be back to try the chippy as the chips where perfect. I would highly recommend landis ❤️

great place to come to with friends! the food was delicious and you get your money's worth

Very disappointed. Wont be back. Half the food missing and other half not what we wanted. In saying that their chips were lovely but chicken nuggets do not compare to goujons bit of a difference. A bacon cheese burger not the same without the bacon. Chicken fillet burger might have been nice if I had of got it. So nuggets plain burger and a chip £19.50.

Fish was very hard ....over cooked

I have never been disappointed with Landi's they are totally consistent, I know that what I have ordered will always be the same as the week before, excellent. You can't beat fabulous Fabio for quality. And those fish, they're like Beluga Whales. My constant order is a Fish supper with large side order of French Fried Onions, my Wife always go's for a Beef Burger with salad, onions, cheese, bacon and cheesy chip, My Granddaughter likes Chicken Breast burger and cheesy chips.

Great value for money and quality food

Staff was unfriendly and seemed really bored, the glasses were dirty and the food was horrible. The fish and chips had no taste. Furthermore, you can't use credit cards and they didn't give us the right change when we paid.

Clean relaxing and very good food

The staff is unfriendly, very expensive we bought fish and chips and cappuccino ended up paying 9pounds, and also we did not receive receipt!

The food is actually very nice here but there has been some fooling in this cafe! In the menu it says one price and whenever you are paying it is a different price which is higher! That is not how you should treat your clients.

Good is absolutely lovely here and staff are so friendly
