La Cambusa di Bibi in Hackney

As a Sicilian, I was hoping for a good experience. The staff were very pleasant, the food not so much. Poorly made and tasted awful. Over cooked gnocchi that was clearly reheated and tough. Drinks not as described. Bread stale and tasteless. The complimentary olives you receive as soon as you arrive, pretty grim. Avoid.

Excellent ‘real’ Italian restaurant. Food is truly first class. Our favourite Italian restaurant in London.

The location is small but very comfortable with lovely atmosphere feel like to be in Italy staff very welcome and professional Raymond the manager is a really nice person thanks for the suggestion about the food and drinks the price very honest to be in London wish a great future for them

The most authentic Italian cuisine we have had in London it is the 3rd time I have come. The pasta is freshly made every day and the service is impeccable. Really nice touch with the free olives and bread at the start and the limincello at the end. Beautiful restaurant that we will return too ASAP!!!

4th time here, I become vegetarian a month ago and there is a lot of options. They have introduced wonderful vegan plates too. Today I tried sweet potato and asparagus Ravioli, amazing!! Polenta and Mushrooms is a must try as well

The menu here is a beautiful combination of Italian classics and Sardinian specialties. All the dishes are homemade - from the fantastic ravioli, through the wonderfully delicate profiteroles and tiramisu. The staff is attentive and genuine with the guests and you often get treated to a lovely digestive of your choice - go for the limoncello! A wonderful choice for a romantic dinner, a group of friends or a casual Saturday lunch.

Cambusa is one of my favourite restaurants in London. Their speciality is Italian regional food. I love their pasta, main courses choices, desserts and their selection of wines. The crab ravioli, the maloreddus alla campidanese and the strozzapreti con burrata e pesto are my favourites! The staff is also extremely professional and friendly at the same time! A place you can’t miss! 😍

We absolutely love this restaurant: the staff is very friendly, the service is spot on and the food is delicious! From friarielli and burrata bruschetta to the parmigiana, from the hand made ravioli to the tiramisu, everything is delicious (and hand made too)!

I’ve been there twice with family and friends. First time I had a fantastic fish soup. I’ve been there again recently and they prepared for us a mix of vegan starters which was superb! Cristiano (the owner) has started making fresh ravioli, some of them with unusual filings, and I can guarantee that I can eat similar ravioli only when my mum makes them. Try the unusual ones: sweet potato and asparagus! To die for... highly recommended!

This place has had a couple of different identities over recent times and a recent refit but the fantastic food and service is as good as ever. I've never had a bad meal here and it's so welcoming. There are some Sardinian specials but you can have your fave standards too. The wine list has some interesting italian and Sardinian wines that I haven't seen elsewhere in London. It always feels like an "occasion" meal even though it is great value.

great little gem. me and my friend had friarielli with Burrata, baby octopus and parmigiana di melanzane as starters, they were delicious!!! as main we had pasta which was really nice! I'll definitely be back.

Easily the best Italian restaurant in London.💜 You can enjoy a vast selection of wines, authentic Italian dishes and one of the best pizza experiences. Definitely we'll be back!

Original Italian restaurant, well refurbished. We really enjoyed the wine (Sardinian wine) aswell as the food, authentically italian! Great experience.

Lovely atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, everything we were suggested was great. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone craving for real Italian food.
