Whilst this restaurant sells good food, no better than good, the customer service is appalling. This restaurant is situated near the Tottenham Hotspur stadium so it is essential that meals are received in good time so that they can be eaten with enough time left to walk to the ground before the start of the match The owner is fully aware of this and yet he keeps taking orders he can’t fulfil in time. The first time I went they lost my order, a jacket potato, and I missed 10 minutes of the match so today I thought I would keep it simple and only ordered a tuna baguette. 25 minutes later and only after I asked for my money to be refunded a tuna PANINI arrived. It was so late I changed it to a takeaway and eat it walking along Tottenham High Road towards the stadium. Kick off was imminent so I hid half of the banquette in my bag and eat it at half time. The salad was thrown away because I could not find a way to take it into the ground When I queried where my baguette was the staff were rude,,arrogant and were only produced the baguette when I asked for my money back. This restaurant is only motivated by money and does not care about its customers. AVOID

A hidden gem. I have not had such wonderful food for a long time. We had not been before and found it by accident when the place we had chosen to eat had closed down. The scallops are wonderful, pricy but absolutely worth it. Fantastic service too.

Servicio rápido, porciones masivas recién preparadas y, si quieres algo un poco más aventurero, los kebabs, lasaña y tortillas también son deliciosos

Very hospitable - catered for multiple allergies, couldn’t be more helpful. Good selection and nice size meals. Rice is particularly good! A good find 👍

Lovely staff great coffee. Although no idea why in london you can't get a large/tall flat white. It is possible to get coffee milk ratio right in a big cup. Other cafes just refuse staff here accommodated and did an extra shot latte which was delicious.

We have been coming to The Red Lion & Sun for over 16 years. It is rare that a pub can build and maintain that kind of loyalty over that span of time. The Red Lion has featured as part of so many special occasions like holidays, birthdays, and anniversaries but also as a friendly local for a pint after work or on a Saturday afternoon. The staff has always been so welcoming, the food is fantastic, and the ambience is unmatched. Heath, the Owner, is extremely accommodating and always goes the extra mile for us. On this occasion, it was my daughter's 16th birthday, and Heath and the team made our visit a truly memorable one. My daughter (and the whole family) had a wonderful time and can add another Red Lion experience to the family memory box. I highly recommend a visit to The Red Lion & Sun!

Went on a Friday night at 7.30pm and the place was quiet, ended up being only us and one more table of two in there all night. Not their fault but made me wonder how busy they are. This of course really impacted the ambience of the place. In general the place is quaint in an oldy woldy kind of way. It’s a two-man show; husband is out front and he is attentive, I like his French manner about him, and his wife is in the kitchen. They only have one house red by the glass/carafe, which is a pity although the one they had was good. We ordered the duck pate which was fresh and roughly ground. I’d give this one a 6/10 it lacked a bit of flavour. We then ordered two mains to share the duck breast with fig sauce was nice, although the centre of the breast was very pink and cool and the skin was not crispy, it was slightly but more chewy fatty vibes and it was served with steamed greens that I couldn’t tell had any butter or anything on them, and delicious potato wedges - I’d give this a 6/10. The beef rib was the star of the show, cooked for 5 hours so it melted off the bone and it was succulent and divine, rich in flavours but not sickly rich, and served with divine crispy potato wedges - I’d give that a 9/10. Lastly we had creme brûlée and chocolate mousse for dessert; the crème brûlée was not nice, the consistency was far to runny and had liquid floating in it although the taste was nice the balance of sweetness was not there - 4/10; and the chocolate mousse had an interestingly thick almost bready consistency, and I found it much to dark and bitter for my liking but I think many would love it (I prefer a light, airy more milk chocolate mousse) - so I’d give this a 6/10. All dishes in my view were not presented well enough, which is why I took a point off for each so if that does fuss you much ok. In general my friend and I had a wonderful time here, we were engrossed in conversation and we enjoyed the food accepting the situation and food for what it is. However I’m not sure I would return as it’s expensive and competition elsewhere.
