Kfc in North Devon

Visited today 22/6 after 5pm.myself and my partner got served very quickly,we both had the mini fillet burger and bbq wrap.both were hot and we didn’t wait too long for our food.visit here every time we’re in Barnstaple and don’t have any problems.

We had chicken and chips from here the other day. When I first saw the chicken I thought it looked over cooked but when I ate it it was very tasty.

The bottom line is that the food was truly awful. You don't expect gourmet stuff from fast food, but really! Dry, overcooked chips, turning black. Same for the zinger burger, bone dry on a bone dry bun with a smear of mayonnaise. The best thing about the meal was the Tango (tea apparently, being rather too exotic for KFC to supply).The single server didn't speak much English. If this is a franchise, then the franchisee needs to take up something different. I'm thinking concrete mixing wouldn't be too much of a leap from what he's doing now.

Absolutly the worst KFC I have ever visited the food was average but the customer service was diabolical . No receipt was given and the order was incomplete . When a polite enquiry was made it was met with abrupt rudeness like never experienced before . Culminating in the so called staff member shouting at a paying customer who was 100% right . I would give this the widest birth possible and will NEVER go there again . Mano the member of staff could do with some serious training if not dismissing , rude and argumentative would be a understatement . AVOID AVOID AVOID !!!

This must rate as the worst meal I've ever had. On top of that the coffee machine has not worked for over a year and the non English speaking staff are the worst ever. I'm going to do my best and not go in there again

Food is pretty sub-standard and always soggy. Orders are rarely right, seems to be worse when it's busy. Staff are surly and barely understand English. Most of the time the place is like a youth club, with tables taken up by foul mouthed pre-teens who share a snackbox between 6 of them. If you have a car, go to the one at Roundswell!

Went yesterday in my wheelchair and it was a comedy of errors. Main double door didn’t open so had to go around the side door to allow me enough room for my chair. Corner of ramp access has a bin on it so very very tight to fit a chair around. Like most shops the counters are too low for wheelchair users and had to stretch to use pin machine. When about to leave they had actually closed off the area which I needed to go through to leave the shop, due to cleaning.. so had I wanted to enter the shop at 4.30 I wouldn’t have been able to and I had to get help to leave!

try to decide what to order, no one speaks english. ordered a 2 piece meal and was asked what drink ordered a coffee coffee sold out at 5.45pm ? meal was a portion of bones and a chicken wing, disgusted. years ago this was a delight to eat, we waited so long for it to come to Barnstaple now with 2 can`t wait for them to leave.

Laughable really. Went in a while ago. NO CHICKEN AVAILABLE!! lol Told at least 20 minutes before fresh batch cooked so came back. Food was cold and raw on the inside.Threw in bin. Reported to food agencies.

We went to one table & moved as it was filthy. At the second table I sat down then realised I had sauce all over my sleeve from yet another filthy table. I went to the counter & explained & asked for a napkin to wipe it off, he said nothing & handed me a napkin with no apology. The chicken itself was the worst I’ve had at any KFC. I left 3 pieces of my variety meal as the chicken coating was under cooked, which made it sloppy. This place needs serious attention from KFC as it’s poorly run and unhygienic.

Visited on a wet Saturday lunchtime. It's was fairly busy, although we were served quickly and the food was hot. Easily found a table, which was clean. All in all it was a good visit.

This is the second time i have been here in a year, never again, miserable staff more so the lady on the till (Same one as last year), The food here is always poor, soggy chips, chicken soggy, and why are the toilets always closed?, KFC you really need to sort this branch out.

When visiting family went shopping in Barnstaple. I stopped here for a quick lunch. It was fine but since KFC changed their chips previously I don't enjoy as much as I used to. It was handy as a quick stop amongst the shops.

Visited while shopping love kfc but very disappointed the food was ok but the building was freezing won’t be visiting that one until a nice hot day

When I got home the order was not complete, I drove back to tell them, that we only had the chicken, chips and sides in the bag, the missing items, which were, hot wings, large popcorn and chicken fillets, they said that they were in the bag, I said they were not, and would hardly bother going back up if they were in the bag, they did give the. To us grudgingly but made me feel so embarrassed as it was obvious to me and the other customers in the restaurant they they didn’t believe me, never in my life have I made out something is missing when it isn’t, when I asked where the manager was not one of them looked at me or even acknowledged that there was a manager, my daughter said come on mum don’t bother, but I feel so angry that I was made to feel like I was a cheat. Disgusting customer service. But the food was good in the end, but I’m still feeling angry and upset

Visited today for lunch. The KFC was very tidy and has been refurbished recently. Had to queue for a bit but not to bad. Good was good. Will certainly be back again.

Quality is average, but it is better then the other KFC in the town. Is convenient in the towns high street, of which you can drive down after 4pm (pedestrian only before this). It has external entry, so although part of green lanes shopping centre, you can still gain entry once it is closed.

called in with kids...friendly staff, food was hot,..kids enjoyed, nice location right on the high street

Disappointing visit today having to leave half way though our meal to take a small child to the nearest pub in order to wee. One toilet out of order ( which I understand happens) and the rest locked ( which I don't understand)

Kfc is kfc everyone loves their chicken, I especially like the zinger burgers, nice little kick to them. Only thing I would mark down in this place would be the staff, the lady who served me-i felt like she did not wanna be there and to me customer service is front line
