Kfc in Newtownabbey

Handy for a quick takeaway. Staff are not very friendly!!! Nearly had a bottle of fanta thrown into my car and no acknowledgement even caring. Always check your order as they often get it wrong or miss an item

Me and my partner called into the newtownabbey the chicken was very salty couldn't even eat it was so salty

My husband went shopping with today. There was nothing in the box he ordered!!! Unfortunately, he didn't watch it there. There was no cheese in the hamburger, chicken legs instead of chicken wings, and no corn at all! I wanted that corn so much! When I mentioned these to the salesperson on the phone and I told him we would never shop there again, his response was "NO PROBLEM". The manager just said ok... tell the salesperson not to say that next time. The style sucks, the work ethic is equal to zero. Customers are considered stupid! Not funny! Avoid this place far!!!.🤦‍♀️🤔🤬

Food that we got was brilliant only problem was we had fries missing.

The night we called in.. Around 7pm the service wasn't good at all.. Staff seemed to give priority to delivery drivers first..maybe this is company policy....

Always get the orders wrong, items missing and can't get an answer if you ring the place

I rang through Just Eat. Driver left food outside my door and was freezing. It could have been stolen. I live near the sea and there are known mice in the area so I couldn't touch it. Couldn't even reheat as had mayo, cheese, lettuce, bread involved. I rang restaurant. No apology, just a palming off of 'Just Eat aren't our company'. But they represent your company and your company won't be having future sales from me. I've seen this restaurant close early in the evening because they've 'ran out of chicken'. For real. Tables always seem uncleared with no sense of queues.

Bad service food was OK at best

I was in with my friend around 8:30 p.m on a Monday night all was great, the staff were lovely except from the shift runner/ supervisor. He was extremely rude to the staff saying he “doesn’t want to be open until 3a.m”. he locked the front door which caused a delivery driver to get locked out and had to bang on the window.He also made people leave through the fire exit. My friend and I felt so uncomfortable eating in as we could feel him watching us waiting to leave. And some of the popcorn chicken was blue moulded. On the door he actually put a sign saying “due to short staff drive through only” there is no one in this venu and they would be fully capable to serve customers until the proper closing time.

If I could give 0 starts I would, chicken tasted funny and was crunchy, felt sick ever since I ate it been vomiting and having dihorrea all day, been to doctor and confirmed I have food poisoning from this restaurant! Disgrace! And won't even reply or answer me!

Grubby tables, air conditioning system blows serviettes everywhere, worst queuing ever - so very slow, toilets were disgusting and swimming in water to the point you’d nearly throw up your meal.

No tea or coffee available. Tables and surroundings untidy. Food good. Very busy.

Food is good tho due to drive thru wait times can be a while and trying to get back out onto church road going up towards valley is a nightmare that would be the only reason I'd avoid 🙃

Took my order then forgot about me for 15mins,food was dry...must of been sitting for days...stinkin

Only giving 3 star because again they got our order wrong, cudnt eat it cause it was wrong but I had drove 15 mins I wasn't going back. The 3 piece chicken was 3 skinny drumsticks when usually get drumsticks and breast part. Got 2 hot wings, 1 was great the other was just hot crumb in a ball! Had my blue light card attached to the app but it did an update and removed it so they wouldnt accept it. So no not a great service or food from here. This is third time my order messed up, like it's not rocket science it on a board in front of them!

Uber eats it took 1 1/2 hours to come 1 mile, food was cold, chips rotten and drink was missing, driver didn’t come to door either just awful never again

Its a quieter KFC to other ones just tucked away near the valley leisure centre. So quieter than others.

Waited 10 minutes in a drive through just to speak to someone and another 10 minutes on the food. It was me and one other car

I always shop there. Fast and efficient

I usually go drive though and use the app, service fast, food great and tasty 😋

Best KFC in the area by a mile.

Have been here a few times now at the drive-thru. Staff are always pleasant & the food is always fresh & warm. A few other KFC restaurants could do with learning from these guys

Stood in queue for 10 minutes and still hadn't gotten round to taking my order. So I walked out to Burger King down the road. There I was served and received my meal in less than 5 minutes.

Thought it was going to be amazing like the one in the shankill road, spent 20.00 for a load of **** the chicken was, well lets's just say there was more meat on a dead carcass that was edible , staff was friendly enough,

Disgrace went into the shop no chips , no water , no corn fella serving what a grump

Food was hot a tasty but the service was lacking and the background music was so loud.

Helpful staff. I bought a meal for the family and they forgot the popcorn chicken in the order. I drove back and the staff rectified the problem.

Was served efficiently and courtesly food was excellent just the seating could be more spacious getting into the seating not enough room or tables could be smaller or able to move the seats.

Items missing, put together with no care like it just fell on the floor and they threw it in the box. You're feeding people who pay, not pigs. Not worth using them again. I'd rather just go to the shop and cook something then. I just wish I had taken pictures.

Drive thru great and fast service

Nice food. Good service, tables had been cleaned, bins seemed emptied and toilets were very clean. Definitely be back.

They need to get English speaking people working there as they get orders wrong and send wrong food and very ignorant people

Hit the spot, everywhere else was packed out, these guys were frying, I had excellent chicken wrap+chips and good gas/catchup with my Belfast friends :-))

Same old KFC very poor customer service

Stinking gone downhill badly from the last time I used here. Cold fries, chicken like it's been reheated and over cooked. Won't be back 😡

Obviously prices have went up sky high everywhere. But on our last visit for the smallest portions of "meal deals" my son and myself couldn't believe that a boneless meal, popcorn chicken, and a krushem came to over £16. It was tasty enough but it wouldn't have filled most people, and a Chinese takeaway would have worked out cheaper and more filling.

Had 3 chicken strips and a chip my family had various meals I was the only one who had chicken strips . I came hone and within an hour I was vomiting so much I passed out. Still recovering 24 hours later stay clear unless you want food poison reported to newtownabbey council

The food was timely and the batter tasted lovely but I thought the C stood for chicken, I'll be damned if I could find any. This really was the worst KFC I've ever had. The corn was spot on I guess.

Nice and quiet .Staff member was polite and friendly younger girl working at front desk taking orders . Food was nice nicer definitely fresh unlike the abbey centre one for sure .

Staff sullen, serve one customer , then walk off dont say il be back in a min , don't smile or greet customers, the screen with the orders when ready has been off two Saturdays in a row, food was nice though and wipes as well, but the toilets are filthy in the disabled toilet-

One of the better KFCs. Food generally comes to you quickly and is of a good standard. Biggest issue with this KFC is being actually able to get out onto the main road due to the never ending traffic.

Some of my order was missing and I phoned and informed them of this and they accused me of lying due to my age and gender and wouldn’t offer me my money back and wouldn’t reason with me

Disgraceful customer service. Any review over 1 star is clearly posted by staff and the manager. Order missing a substantial portion. Don't worry, after the "passing your call on to head office" and the "police" I'll do you a favour and contact them myself. How someone with such poor management skill gets into a role that is an embarrassment to the brand/company. Looking at reviews it's not the first time they have short changed orders. Time to pass up the chain with such a complaint.

As far as KFC goes this place is grand, service is normally quick. Only down side is tables could be cleaned better and last few times air con has been blasing full to the point you are shivering cold while trying to eat.

Good service but they don't serve original pepsi anymore. I have been going here for a year now but the quality has dropped. Orders are now wrong even though they are small and just bit into a piece of chicken which was off, will not be going back as I'm fed up complaining Has ownership changed recently

Awful service went to drive threw they didn't understand a thing that was going on slabbered over an order then handed us cold food will not be back.

Looking at options for lunch with my grandkids today and KFC do not have costs with their menu options. Makes it difficult to make an informed decision

Ordered using the Mobile app n was surprised to have a painless experience... collected thru Drive Thru n was out quite quickly. Staff were ok... food was gd...

Yeah not bad ... It's alot nicer getting it inside... But if you get it delivered... Make sure to have the oven warm or microwave 😅😅... No offense fast food doesn't tarvel well... But the restaurant is good 🙌 the times I've been there the food has been warm 🔥 ..... Rare occasions it be cold.... But this isn't talking about inside.... This is talking about Delivery!!.... It can be delivered warm! I've had it delevered warm few times... And it's actually been lovely!! But see whenever you pay for "priority booking" you pay extra £2 to get delevered 1st.... Whenever I watch them on map (under eats) and they will go to other places/houses before mine.... The most was 5ish houses before here. And it's stone cold ..I say before opening bag because you'll feel heat if it's truely warm... They say "just take it and call restaurant".... I complained to uber eats and got £4 of my £25 order..... Soo I'm sorry I went off topic talking about uber eats.... But food is shocking coming from them.... I would advise everyone DONT ORDER KFC ONLINE!!!! You'll mostly be Angry at how cold it be!... to completely ruines dinner time..... Sorry for the story I wrote.... Typical KFC experience, exactly what you'd expect from KFC... fried chicken, polite staff, pleasant environment.

Consistently getting my orders wrong and watery gravy. Challenging me for proof when I go back to them with a complaint. Very disappointed by this KFC.

So so. Fast served and not crowdede so happy. It's very near from V36 play park. My family likes to drop by here and then go to the play park enjoying burgurs.

Staff working hard to deliver the queue but looks like the Just Eat and Deliveroo take up so much time. Order after order with 1 on the queue at peak dinner time. Well done team despite the pressures of the queue.

I've been going to this KFC for years and have always found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The food is always nice and the restaurant is tidy. Unlike some fast food retailers I rarely get an wrong order. My son loves it.

I'm giving this colonel outlet 5 stars as the staff are very friendly, not like other KFCs where pimply, uncaring kids forget you've either ordered 2 piece and give you 1 or throw your order together like there's no tomorrow! No this KFC is top class

There's never been a time I've been at this KFC and they haven't forgotten something on the order or the order was completely incorrect. Their gravy is like water too🤢

The dark haired lady who works the drive through could use a personality transplant as she's been rude on a few occasions especially if you are using a voucher on your app. The foods usually spot on though

CHECK RECEIPT!!! Ordered a 12 piece boneless dipping.(12 mini fillets, large popcorn chicken, 2 large sides, 4reg fries, 4 dips and a bottle of drink) It was put through as an 8 piece then was charged for the large sides and bottle of drink that comes with the feast for free and then charged £3 for 4 pieces of chicken to make it up to the 12 piece. The total for the boneless feast was then 20.50 which it isn’t on the menu!! Too easy for them to scam when doing contactless payments. Wondering how many times they’ve pulled this before with me and others?!

Stopped in for quick lunch and really enjoyed it.. great service and friendly staff.
