Amazing service So kind and polite

We ordered a take out (delivery) at 8.40pm it arrived 10.08pm it was lukewarm the food was nice the poppadoms were all broken in a bag and the chutney was a bright green sauce, chopped cucumber and mango chutney no red onions if I’m honest not sure if it was worth the wait

Small restaurant which has about 20 seats. The pickle tray was nice, not sure about the poppadoms I thought they were microwaved. The curry was ok, nothing to get over excited about. Nann was nice. Mango lassi tasted bottled.

The best desi- chinese food in Manchester. Authentic to the Indian chinese cusisine and as close as you can get to the shacks back home. We have only tried the chineses menu and highly recommend the pepper chicken gravy with naan, noodles and schezwan rice were great as well. We tried the chicken karahi too but as expected was disappointing.The quantity is decent too, can be shared among two with moderate apetite. I only recommend sticking to the chinese here, not great for other cuisines.

Very bad experience. Awful staff. Just for 4 items takeout they made me wait 1 hour even when they did not even have a single customer dining in the restaurant. Even after waiting one hour and when i got back home, 1 item was missing. And when i called them for that they were adamant saying they did not miss any item and questioning me why you asking for a £7 item. Horrible experience

Let me begin by thanking the owners and the chefs who have created the menu and this place. It's truly said that when you re-locate to a new place, you must adapt to its culture and food pattern, but how can you not crave for something that you have been eating for ages? Luckily I found a few good Indian restaurants here but was sad that couldn't find any indo-chinese or chindian food here. BUT FINALLY FOUND IT. The desi Chinese here is outstanding. The first morsel of fried rice took me straight to the streets of Bombay where I used to regularly order my Chinese food from. We tried the Paneer Chilly, Chicken 65, Chicken fried rice and chicken Schezwan fried rice. Everything deserves a 10/10. Too good and I am sure will keep ordering regularly or will visit to savour more delicacy.

Really really love this place. The food, the environment, the staffs and the service all are top notch. They offer a whole range of foods from india to china. Their food taste so delicious and they offer variations in gravy, spice, types of veg and all other necessity if one have. The staffs are very co-operative and well mannered. They have full knowledge of the food they are serving. The hygiene was good as well. They have a toilet for all personality. Liquors are also served here. The food taste so good and yummy that i went there several times and the taste memory is still mouth-watering. The indian vibe is the best part. Really love the place. Highly recommended.

Tried first time and loved their food. Best Asian food in greater Manchester. We tried chicken kathi rolls, jalfrezi, chicken noodles and pani puri. Loved it spot on. If you really want to try real food then come to this place.

This hidden gem is a must try if you love Chinese food. It is run by an Indian chef who cooks with his soul. We had the Prawns Fried Rice and Egg Fried Noodles and it was absolutely delicious, like a street style. My favourite to order is the egg noodles as it has a smoky taste and does not taste plain. Definitely recommended 💯

Tasty food and a friendly team, however no table cloths, no music, and quite bright lighting meant its not very warm and relaxing. More Indian that Chinese, which is what we wanted.

Its 14th of feb and I wanted to go somewhere quit and good atmosphere. I had dinner with my husband and I enjoyed every min of it. Loved the food good service and nice music too. A++++ Highly Recommend

Made a very small food order 30 minutes prior to collection. On arrival, I was told that everything should be ready in 5 minutes, so I sat and waited… 20 minutes later, I asked if there was any update on my food and was informed it should only take another 5 minutes. So again, I sat and waited.. 15 minutes later, I asked what was happening with my order? I was then informed that my order was only now being sorted, despite them telling me 40 minutes prior on entering the restaurant that it was only 5 minutes away. Really disappointing service and communication. I would expect much better from a highly rated restaurant and a sincere apology for the mistake, which was not offered.

Really enjoyed the food. Taste, portion size and service all were excellent. The place is neat, cozy with sufficient seating and was very calm which is what I like as opposed to noisy place where you can barely hear your company. The service was prompt, we finished our dinner within an hour with 5 dishes ordered. Indo-chinese taste definitely was achieved. They have good menu. Will be trying out Indian dishes too next time. We had: veg schezwaan noodles, egg rice, veg spring rolls, chilli paneer and chicken mmalai tikka. I would recommend this place.

Delicious Indian food, lovely service

Ordered via uber eats and I have to say I have never eaten such horribpe looking and terrible tasting paneer from an Indian joint. I will let the photo speak for itself. Masala chips and peshawaari naan were also bad. I feel terrible for this review but at the same time for my money spent.

Though the restaurant is not very large but definitely on a cosy side. The food is sumptuous I must say and have been our go to place for any Indo-Chinese food. They do adjust the spice level based on your ask so that is great.

We ordered two curries (fish and chicken curry), and they both had the same curry sauce just one had chicken pieces and one fish. Not great.

Absolutely love this place. The best indo-chinese in Manchester by far. Recommend the chicken schezuan noodles, chilli paneer and fried rice. The food never disappoints and the service is always 10/10.

Had a fantastic meal here tonight, very well presented and very tasty food. The service was first class. We actually, by mistake, left our car/house keys when we left at 8.30pm and only realised at 11pm. We went back and all the shutters were down but 2 very kind members of staff had waited for our return to retrieve our keys. Thankyou so much

A must place for indo Chinese!!!! No other place in Manchester has this tasteful info Chinese, trust me. They Also have tandoor items which is even good but my personal favorite was indo Chinese.

I have ordered a collection the dish and the bill said 15% off on collection when I asked the guy on the till blindly rejected saying that it’s not available . So Don’t believe what’s on the bill they don’t offer any discounts for collection. It’s just false advertisement on the bills

One of the best Indo Chinese foods we had in recent times. We tried chicken noodles, egg noodles, chicken dimsum. All were great! Would definitely recommend and visit again.

I would say it's a top notch taste for I do Chinese food in the town! I have tried several places in Manchester, salford, etc but this one is truly amazing, the sitting space can accommodate only around 20 people but I don't mind because the ambience, music along with perfect food was just so satisfying.

For us Karahi Wok was a wonderful find for Indo Chinese food...nice cozy and clean place with melodious soft hindi music in the background..loved the freshness of the ingredients (veggies and chicken) used in the food, the sauces used and the spice levels ...tried chilli chicken, shezuan egg noodles and paneer Chilli...will definitely visit this place again

We had takeaway here 2 previous times and the food was amazing. Unfortunately, when we recently ordered, the food was incredibly bland. There was no flavour to it at all. It was very disappointing and even a spicy dish just tasted of nothing. It was like a tinned sauce that had been intensely watered down. The mushroom rice was ok but the curry itself was the worst curry I’ve ever had in my life. Not sure what’s happened since we last ordered but it doesn’t reflect my previous 5 star review. We binned the rest of it when we knew we wouldn’t reheat it the next day.

Have ordered several times and every time the food was delicious. I drive 20 mins but it’s worth every time even I have to drive( no delivery available).

Honestly one of the best curries I’ve had. I’ve been to quite a few curry houses in the short space of time I’ve occupied this earth but this is one of the best, traditional curries cooked to perfection with amazing flavours. I would definitely recommend

Amazing food, hidden gem, great service , freshly cooked out of this world, best curry me and the family have had. The non veg sharing starter was unreal. We eat in but the takeaway was busy, wish it was in my home town as we found it on trip advisor.

Hopelessly slow and very meagre portions. Went into the restaurant to get a takeaway. Took 50 minutes to get the food even though only 1 table in restaurant had people and they had already order. During 50 min wait only 1 other takeaway order collected so not busy. When got home the popodom was stale and 3 main dishes only had a few small pieces of chicken and hardly no veg. Very disappointed

Food was banging. Staff are dead friendly. Cobra on tap too. This is the perfect curry scenario. We’ve lived in Salford for ages and there’s no other Indian we would go to. 10/10 would defo recommend.🫶🏽

Ordered form this place several times, always late however food is nice so didn’t mind too much. Today it was over 2 hours late, rang restaurant around 5 times to keep being told it will be there in 5 mins, rang for refund when 2 hours passed, chef hung up on me, then had to ring back again, refund processed then said if you come in next week we’ll try and sort something out for the inconvenience haha. How about send the food I wasted 2 hours waiting for now, as a goodwill gesture for all the money I’ve previously spent with you?! Delivery driver from last time was also the rudest person I’ve ever come across so I’m guessing he’s sat round the corner eating the food or something. Will never be ordering again!

Bad experience and bad hospitality People staring at us while waiting for food was very disturbing and made us uncomfortable and food came very late after ordering took more than 55mins to get starters and it was too salty and the main dish was tasteless added too much pepper to make it spicy that was the only taste we got

Food came very late after ordering and while waiting there where some people staring at the girls that came with us , it was really disturbing and uncomfortable will never visit this place again, bad experience and food was also not good too much salt in all the starters we ordered and quantity was not there, I won’t suggest dine in here , maybe take away won’t give people such bad experience. I don’t even feel like giving one star. Even the people serving was not responding to the things we asked.

I recently visited here that left me thoroughly disappointed. From the moment I walked in, I felt uncomfortable and unwelcome as the staff seemed disinterested in my presence. The other patrons in the restaurant also stared at me, making me feel self-conscious and uneasy. The food was another letdown. I ordered a few different dishes, hoping to find something that would satisfy my taste buds, but unfortunately, everything was tasteless and bland. I felt like I was eating cardboard, and I could barely finish any of the dishes. To make matters worse, the service was terrible. The wait staff was inattentive, and my orders were often forgotten or delayed. When I complained about the food, the server showed no concern and seemed almost annoyed that I had an issue. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The atmosphere is uncomfortable, the food is tasteless, and the service is subpar. It was a complete waste of money, and I left feeling disappointed and frustrated. Save yourself the trouble and dine elsewhere.

while the food was okay, the service left much to be desired. Our food took longer than expected to arrive, which was disappointing. To make matters worse, the staff seemed more interested in encouraging people who were staring at us than attending to our needs. This made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I would suggest that the management take action to train their staff to prioritize the needs of their customers and ensure that they do not engage in behavior that could be seen as encouraging unwanted attention. Overall, while the food was decent, the service left a lot to be desired, and I'm not sure if I would return in the future.

During my recent dining experience, the food quality was satisfactory, although the service was delayed, which was disappointing. To make matters worse, other patrons were staring at our table, which made us feel uncomfortable. The Indian good at this place feels different from that in many Indian restaurants. Service is also good. The only think I didn't like too much is that there isn't that much of dining space which sort of makes the experience a bit less pleasant than it should have been... I highly recommend for people looking for Indian food.

The main course is great , I like the taste and the quantity. I’m not very happy with starters i have tried many starters in here I think they use lot of sauce and food colour which taste awful and bad for health. This is something they need to consider in making it better . Try giving real flavours because Indian food is about being authentic and natural flavours .

Me and my family went here for a birthday tea off of a shining recommendation. Could not recommend more, the food was amazing, best jalfrezi I’ve ever had. The mixed starter was gorgeous. Could not have asked for a better server, Jax treated everyone single of us like royalty. Every thing was evenly priced and amazing portion sizes. Everything we needed was met instantly. Can not wait to go back, our new place! Could not reccomend this place more best Indian going!

great food, best service,will bring you more customers

After visiting the restaurant a few times and and enjoying the food and having a good experience each time. I decided to order a delivery very disappointed. £25+ to end up in the bin. Firstly everything was cold other than the curry so before eating had to be microwaved, The chips was like eating soggy cardboard the curry was well to spicy and the wraps had gone mushy I will say the green sauce and mango chuckney was about the nicest thing in the bag. You order pompadoms and get a bag of broken bits for the same price as a full one from any other take out some bits cruncy and some soggy. Makes me think is this the bits that have broken of customers pompadoms when eating in the restaurant that is the only answer I can think of as why wouldn't they just give you full ones? Anyway I wont be ordering from here again and doubt I will be going back to the resturant after having this experience with my order.

Good atmospher high quality foods like homemade. The most important thing is using halal meats.

A small cosy place with friendly staff. Had a very nice Madras and Korma, but Karachi style curry was a bit of a miss. Paneer starter was very tasty. I wouldn't order Peshawari style naan again - it had no almonds or raisins, just semolina with sugar inside. Chinese part of the menu is not authentic, but if you enjoy typical British Chinese takeaway you will probably be satisfied.

Worst Paneer butter masala I have ever had. I couldn’t taste anything apart from tanginess of tomatoes. No salt in Pulau rice. I thought it will be good when they took 1 hr to prepare 1 paneer butte masala, 1 Garlic naan and 1 Pulau.

Went in randomly to try it since it's local to where I'm staying, fair to say it was very nice, me and my friend wiped the plates clean.

Wow. Travelled from Stoke a few hours ago to drop daughters off at concert and hanging around. Hubby and myself called in for Indian to pass time as I'd been working all day. Was not expecting this hidden gem. Greeted with a cheerful smile. We both had Indian food. Hubby went for tikka masala and I had jalfrezi. Meals freshly cooked, hot and absolutely tasty. Keema nan was spot on. Really wish we had this on our own doorstep. Will definitely be visiting again soon. Thank you for your warm hospitality and excellent food and service.x

First time ordering a takeaway from here and it was absolutely gorgeous. The mixed grill was so fresh and all very tender meat. The curries were gorgeous but slightly small portion sizes. Great menu choice with the mix of Chinese and Indian.

It’s been around 30 years since I enjoyed an Indian meal since I left Leeds. I kept trying but I’ve always been disappointed. No longer the food was great and reasonably priced. Can’t believe I’ve been missing out on this place. It’s been open 3 years! Also has a 5* from Salford Council so that reassuring. And I can walk to it 😀. I can have a cobra or two lol

Most random weird place I’ve ever eaten in my life. It’s literally like someone’s living room. They do indian and chinese food which put me off straight away but I’m not joking it’s probably one of the best lamb karahi’s I’ve ever eaten!!! If you’re coming to Salford it’s 100% worth a visit! Don’t knock it till the food comes you won’t be disappointed. Thanks again

If you love Indian cuisine, you must go here. The finest place to spend time with family and enjoy delicious food. All of the dishes are delicious, but the chicken madras is my personal favorite. The staff is really nice, and the chef's are truly five-star. I enjoyed the food and the ambiance.
