I thought this was definitely one of the best indian/Pakistani restaurants I've ever been to. There menu offers a wide choice of everything and all is good. If you like spice you will love this, if you don't then that's fine too! There is something for everyone and all is tasty

One of the best curries I have ever had! All the food was perfectly spiced - Goan fish, mixed grill, sag chicken and sag potato along with roses and nans. If you are on Stirling and fancy a curry EAT HERE!

Had a meal here last night with my husband, some of the best Indian food we have ever had. The menu is thankfully not as huge as some, but there was plenty to choose from, from the standard Tikka Masala to more unfamiliar dishes. Service was good (although we waited for a while for someone to come back and take our order). The flavour of everything we chose was amazing, including the gunpowder potatoes and old school lamb curry. This will definitely be where we go for Indian food from now on.

My husband and I visited the newly opened Stirling branch of Kahani in March on a rare evening out (with a babysitter). We were very impressed with the breadth and originality of dishes on offer. The tandoori dishes were particularly strong and we also enjoyed the desserts (Kulfi). The service was friendly and attentive. We also appreciated the BYOB policy as this helps to keep costs down for diners. There’s a good range of soft drink options too, including mocktails and lassis. Would recommend!

First visit today and had a wonderful meal. Had the whole restaurant to ourselves, probably due the location, but well worth a visit. Will definitely be back.

Enjoyed one of the best Indian meals ever here. The flavours and freshness of the food absolutely outstanding. Service excellent too, and good value for money.

I'll start with the highlight - superb! Welcoming staff, unobtrusive but available and friendly. Clear recommendations based on what we asked for. Food was warm, tasty and fresh, everything was spot on, including the drinks. One thing that may put some off - it's a byob. BUT we brought prosecco, they supplied a bucket with ice, and frosted glasses. Perfect. Actually really nice to bring exactly what you want. No complaints with the price, great value for money. Just a really lovely night, in a lovely place, with lovely staff. And yes, lovely food. We'll be back (this was our second visit, this one was even better than the last, and that was near perfect!) We went to this restaurant for the first time on a visit to Stirling. We are fortunate to have an excellent Indian restaurant in our home town so we're used to great Indian food. Kahani didn't disappoint. My starter was new to me but delicious. I then had the Old School Lamb Curry. Simple but absolutely delicious too. The decor is very elegant and the staff are very friendly. We'll definitely be back.

This was one of the worst Indian meals we've ever had. It began well with freshly cooked pakora. But the main courses were bland, lacked spice and not a chilli pepper in sight. My husband had to add pepper from the table to his meal and I had to add salt to make it taste of something. We're both vegetarian, but that's not an excuse for serving dreadful, boring, curry (in name only)!

Had a beautiful meal this evening with our grandchildren. I had the fish curry which was superb. Attentive staff and nice decor. Will definitely return.

Fantastic meal, with wonderful waiter who was on hand to help with best choices for our tastes. Indian ice-cream was a new experience for us but again well worth the effort to make room for it. I highlyrecommend restaurant , you will not regret it.

Ate here on Saturday with friends as had found out it had recently opened. The food was amazing! There were 3 of us there and we all chose differently. One friend chose the 2 course lunch menu, the other picked from the main menu and I chose 3 small plates. All food was outstanding. Presentation was beautiful and the food was of a very high quality. My 3 small plates were old style veg pakora, gunpowder roast potatoes and chicken 65. All 3 were delicious. Friends dishes were a tandoori chicken dish for starter and fish curry and the other had chicken pakora and a chicken jalfrezi as was recommendation from our waiter and there were clear plates all round. It's a BYOB with no corkage charge so all you are paying for is your food. I would highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely return! No photos unfortunately as it was a video we took of our food and can't upload that here!

Went for dinner on a Saturday evening and wasn’t dissatisfied. The front of house gentleman was very friendly on arrival. He asked if we would like any recommendations and we went with the garlic and chilli prawns to start and Joshilla Murg chicken to start with. Amazing! Butter chicken as a main . The food is beautifully presented too!

Really excellent food - delicately balanced flavours. Beautiful presentation. Excellent service. A fantastic bonus on top of that, is that you can bring your own drink at no extra charges. Kahani is a fantastic edition to the restaurants in Stirling. It is tucked away down the end of Upper Craigs but go and find it as soon as you can!

Visited on a Monday night with my partner and had a fantastic time. Best meal out we've had in a long time and a much needed addition to the Stirling food scene. We had the spinach fritters (trust me they're amazing!) tandoori prawns, tandoori lamb chops and king prawn karahi and loved everything. Staff were friendly and food beautifully presented. Lovely choice of mocktails too.

I was really excited about visiting Kahani, and the food was just fantastic. Even the service and ambience of the restaurant was top notch. I highly recommend Kahani if you are looking to try the authentic indian cuisine because it is very difficult to find an Indian restaurant who serves the exact same flavours what you get in India. We came here to celebrate the Valentine day and I've got to say we were not disappointed. The food is great and the service was on point. I recommend this Indian restaurant for anyone who wants to experience an explosion of Indian culinary adventure.

Fantastic food. Best poopadums and naan I've ever tasted. We had the tapas style lunch and since there were 3 of us , we had plenty of choice. Portions were ideal for lunch and the accompanying sauces etc were great. We will be back!
