Came in for a quick pint while staying with friends nearby. Paul is a great and friendly bartender and the other patrons made a half-Scot half-American very welcome. Front door is heavy as F so pull hard to get in!

This bar used to be as close to a regular as I ever had. Earthy but amiable with good range of whiskeys but limited choice of beers. Pool table which is always a plus.

If you don't have a drink at this place, then You just shouldn't be drinking at all

The staff are very friendly, the drinks are reasonably priced and the customers are very sociable. Jaybees has a relaxed atmosphere, with no loud music to distract you from your conversations. Most of the people who drink there like a game of pool so if that's your thing, you'll fit in perfectly, even if it's not, the people will still make you feel welcome there.
