answer the phone you want to ffs i’ve phoned a few times on different occasions for a take away but low and behold no answer, ON THE PLUS SIDE FOOD IS GREAT

Rude, unfriendly and argumentative. I couldn’t eat at the restaurant as it’s not very clean. I cant imagine what it’s like in the kitchen. Would not recommend!

Sunday night, group of six, we were the only people in the place. Colder inside than outside, and it was only just above freezing outside. The staff did bring over a small fan heater but this was fighting a loosing battle from the start. About an hour and a half wait for the food to arrive. Warm plates were brought out ten minutes before the food arrived and were then stone cold. All the food was barely warm. To add insult to injury the beer was warm ! The portion sizes were good but the chicken in two of the dishes was wafer thin slices and of poor quality. The nan breads were stiff and waxy. A trip to the toilet was testimony to the two star hygiene rating.

Delicious food, very reasonable prices and friendly, attentive staff - can't go wrong. Would definitely recommend and will be back

We sat in for our meal and what a meal it was. From the popadoms and dips to the chicken chat and lamb tikka, then we had peshwari naan , chicken tikka masala and chicken dupiaza. Every single mouthful was bursting with flavour with just the right amount of heat. The service also has to be mentioned, we were really well looked after with even the chef coming to chat to us to make sure we were happy. Amazing food, amazing service, highly recommended.

Regularly order food from this restaurant. Always top food with friendly service, highly would recommend!

We order a takeaway every weekend from here always fast delivery and the food is to a high standard cannot fault it.

Been ordering deliveries from Indian Ocean from when they first opened. Weekend just past me and my partner decided to sit in and eat. Lovely friendly staff, felt very welcomed. Food is always been cooked fresh the chicken madras is just perfect not to hot. Nice fresh big pieces of chicken. We also tried the chefs special the chicken tikka boona absolutely delicious very tasty. My new favourite indian in merthyr! Pictures are from last nights order :)

Quite simply the worst excuse of an Indian meal. The lamb bhuna was chewy sludge. The March masala gave my partner a very bad stomach. The chicken chat had a vinegry aroma. Avoid!!!
