A quaint restaurant. Cajun chicken burger was very flavorful. Tomato and red pepper soup was spicy (and I like a lot of spice). Order at the bar. Server was very nice. Car park is in the back. We missed it and parked at the beach, which was fine.

This is darren fairlie, I was looking all over scotland as I've worked most of the highlands for someplace my 15 yr old dog that can't walk well and would let me In with her wheelchair/wagon and other easy flat ground things she could handle and this has been perfect for us both at the campsite cafe beach and bar an grill all the staff were more then kind and helpful I wish I knew about this place sooner as I only stay in montrose id definitely recommended this to people and come here again if I have the chance very peaceful and helpful when I needed a hand with my dog id just like to say thanks, I'm gonna try come back if my dog will manage it in the next month or 2. I forgot to mention the food at the Cafe and bar are really great and fast, games for kids at the Cafe and beautiful beer garden at the grill my dog loved just sitting there really appreciate the service as ive been place before that werent as tolerant towards my breed of dog(staffy) so its honestly appreciated.

So so food came out not very warm .they took it back and heated ..and then charged us a extra £4.50 extra for service charge .Though my satay chicken burger was nice ..and cajan chicken loaded fries were good.

Great location close to St Cyrus beach. The food was good and service was fast. They have outside seating, which is great on a sunny day.

Great place to stop by and get delicious food! Big portions and freshly made by the order! Friendly staff, clean tables and toilets!

The staff were conspicuous by their absence during the service of the pre meal drinks in the herb garden. The family had to pitch in and open the wine and serve the rest of the guests while waiting for the newly Weds. The meal was a buffet of burgers and salad. The salad arrived after most of the guests had helped themselves. The cake was cut and the family again had to go around the room serving their guests. Perhaps the supervisor could have taken charge to pull the reception together and put less strain on the immediate family

Our food took too long to be served

Food wasn't bad, but strange atmosphere. Felt like I was in a sixth form room for most of it. Peculiar. Not a bad selection on the menu. Dog friendly which was a nice feature.

£15 for a tiny cajun chicken burger, still wondering where the cajun flavour was! £16 for a chilli burger with a warning saying only if you like it spicy, there was no chilli taste at all!! No table service, waited 30 minutes for our food & eventually had to ask when we were getting it. Youngsters running the place needing supervision. Very sad as it is such a beautiful setting & dog friendly but we won’t go back!

An excellent place at lunan bay.. we were camping at the beach and its a 2 minute walk with excellent food.. we went here around 7 each evening for food and a couple of pints.. 10 of us and all plates were cleared the pints were deliscious and a great atmosphere.. pool table dart board and a lovely garden for a light stroll.. will deafinatly be back here again.. highly recommend if you are camping local

Had a very decent lunch with nice views over the garden. Got surprised by well-made dishes with good ingredients. Fish & chips came with really nice potato wedges.

Local. So Have been dozens of times for food and drinks. Service and food and setting have always been exceptionally good. Cycle there almost always and there's great welcome to cyclists and safe places to leave your bike. Everyone I've taken loves it.

Wasnt impressed, party of 11 we ordered 5 kids meals (which they got wrong). Left one of our party wothout thier meal until wed finished the drinks wernt carbonated and the burger i had wasnt cook through. Lucky it seemed like the only place open or wed have gone elsewhere

Staff here are brilliant! Three very tired and hungry ladies arrived after the the kitchen closed and the staff were so accommodating and made us some delicious snacks. Super friendly and a lovely chilled atmosphere. Perfect place to grab a drink and a rest after a long cycle. The old gym hall flooring is fab! What a cool up-cycle.

Looking online at Lunan House Hotel you'd think the food and setting would be fine dining. But unless you are going for a function you will actually be seated in what looks like a gym hall complete with coloured tape on the floor. Sports screen up on wall and long wooden benches. Basic menu not really a grill?! I asked for a non alcoholic cocktail and was given a strawberry slush puppy... Needless to say we left and had a fantastic meal at Arbroath's Boatyard instead!

Good outdoor space in a picturesque setting. Indoors is setup to be a sports bar with long benches. Fine place for drinks and food while watching the game. Lions your was on when I was in.
