Imperial Cafe in Bridgend

Cannot comment on food as left before eating but sat down to an empty table with crumbs of food still on it and a menu with a thick long black hair over it, put off of eating

Myself,partner and daughter called in here today 7/8/19 for a cooked breakfast as you can't get a good one in maesteg for love nor money. On entering (place was spotless,light and airy and beautifully decorated) I was so surprised to see the man there was none other than the man who used to serve us their delicious fresh doughnuts when I was a child, he hasn't changed a bit apart from the grey hair now haha!We all ordered the cooked breakfast and boy was it lovely, no grease on plate at all. 2 pieces of bacon,2 sausages,2 eggs,black pudding, beans or tomatoes or hashbrowns and the toast was good old door step toast with lovely welsh butter and a cup of tea or coffee.Staff lovely and nothing is too much trouble, we were made to feel very welcome.Next time here I am trying their roast beef dinners (it was only 9.30 am and would have killed for one and fair play the lovely man said if I wanted one I could have one).Oh and the bill for the 3 of us plus can of drink was £15.35.Cannot wait to go back as at last we have found a great cooked breakfast in maesteg, give them a whirl you won't be disappointed .Also the menu was extensive from faggots and peas, light bites, roast dinners, ect. Excited to return, thankyou so much for a lovely meal.

Love service and food staff really helpful

Called in for lunch. Food was very nice. I had faggots, chips, peas and gravy (see picture). Noted that although it was 1pm the most popular meal was the all day breakfasts.

A nice place to eat and enjoy a mug of tea/coffee. and the order out service is a big plus.

Went in for lunch. Had a good variety on the menu plus a board with the day's specials. Went for the medium size all-day breakfast and it wasn't that bad but could have been much better with better quality items. However, the latte was excellent.

Called in with my son to have breakfast. All this including a mug of tea for £4.75 which is a bargain. Tasted as good as it looked.

A typical cafe with a good choice. All day breakfast seems very popular and excellent value for money.

Excellent service always deliver to my work place, food is always hot when it arrives Which is always a good thing, would highly recommend the cooked breakfast.
