No order and no update, no food delivered

No food after 2 1/2 hours and no answer when we called. No response through app

Tells us food is delivered when no one even delivered absolute joke of a place call and no one answered will definitely not be using that dump again

Was two hours past told delivery time and chicken wasn’t cooked properly

I ordered some chicken and noodles and to be honest it was not nice at all. Noodles were stale and the chicken was heated up for approximately 20 seconds. Chicken tasted dry and chewy, onions were raw, the food in general was not nice at all and gave me a stomach ache. This place is not how I remember it 10 years ago, the customer service was non-existent and the atmosphere was hostile. I will not use this place again.

Absolutely disgusting. Ordered beef with came pale and chewy, almost overcooked that it disintegrated in my mouth, came too early so I called about my portion. Was told by extremely rude and abrupt staff member that she checked the beef, it's fine, that's how they cook it and I won't be getting a refund for even that portion. My husband arrived home during the call, opened his, noodles dry and congealed, chicken that dry could barely gets fork into it. Raised to JustEat told by them all food can vary in looks LOL - dried out chicken and pale beef. Never ordering from either again.

Arrived 5.55pm, ETA was from 5.40pm as my husband would be home from work by then. Soggy, pale looking beef that almost dissolved in my mouth and not in a good way, vile! Rest was dry, inedible, denied refund from Hot Wok and JustEat. NEVER AGAIN.

I’ve left many good reviews about Hot Wok but they’ve lost a customer tonight. The chips had clearly been reheated more than once and were completely inedible, all crunchy with a dreadful old oil bitter taste. Should never have left the restaurant.

Good food but takes so long to deliver midweek, way past the estimated time they give you. Unfortunately can't order from there again.

The special fried rice was tasty, I didn’t enjoy the sweet and sour so much, though still edible, I can recommend the mixed satay with the rice, that is a tasty treat.

Hands down the best Asian I have eaten so far in S.Ayrshire. Fresh and tasty(truly delicious). Fair prices for the quality and the portions are generous, esp.the chinese(spare) ribs that I ordered with a honey and garlic sauce that is recommendable in my opinion and also an item I will be in future ordering again....worth it!!!

Ended up here while waiting for a bus. Great food. Had ribs, crackers and Singapore noodles. Amazing. Definitely do again.

First time trying the food here. Found out that the food was absolutely delicious and would highly recommend it to anyone. Came to my door piping hot and tasted great. I’m definitely going to be ordering more from this place. 👍👍👍

I haven’t ordered from here in many years so I was pleasantly surprised by the food quality, especially how well cooked and fresh the vegetables were and the variety of them, especially in the chow mein. If this is the consistent food quality here then this place is easily going to be my new go to for chinese food.

Me and wife just moved to the area we tried the salt chilli chicken with rice and satay sauce today and have to say its the best food we've ever had from a takeaway we will definitely be returning

reheated bland tasteless food. Asked the restaurant to take it back and they told me no. They also phoned and said i had to pay a extra £2 on delivery cash for my food odd???

Chips were hard and couldn't eat

Food was cold,each individual grain of rice was hard and tasteless.chicken balls were tough as leather. Wouldn’t feed to a dog.

Delivery took 3 hours and they sent the wrong food.

Very bland and watery food. Stale prawn crackers. Very late delivery . Shop lied and said 5 minutes . Kids got fed up of waiting and went to bed . Paid for delivery only for them to phone and demand an extra £3 to deliver to our door.

Food was awesome, best Chinese in Ayr

Chips were half cooked, put us all off it. Just eat asked for pictures of the chips but I don't take photos of food. It just got binned.

I had asked for a 6.15 pm delivery as I wanted to make sure I would be home, the delivery came 30 minutes early, i had just arrived in, I asked why it was so early and the driver asked what would be my choice, to have my dinner hot or cold, if I wanted it warm it would be early, I realise the delivery time would be approximate time and getting a specific time would be difficult. I wonder why a delivery time is asked if it can’t be done, I’d give or take 10 minutes but not 30.

Absolutely incredible. Delivered earlier than expected; which was much appreciated, a bespoke Chow Mein that's out of this world and a vegetable curry that features the largest assortment of wonderfully fresh, chunky vegetables anywhere in town. 10/10.

Delicious food and fast service. I have been using hot wok for years and it never disappoints. It’s great being able to walk away with a noodle box. Their new website is great, now we can enjoy the food as a family at home

Really disappointing service, I had mistakenly asked for sauce separate from prawns but had ordered chicken, it was the only meat I had ordered so not hard to notice the mistake. On contacting I was told that since they didn't match up the note was ignored - no contact made to clarify, no effort to make it right. If you don't make the effort to keep your customers happy they don't come back - if you were in a restaurant they would've taken it away and fixed it no question.

First and definitely last visit here. Got a delivery of Peking ribs…chunks of bone with dry tough bits of meat. Chicken satay…….dry and strange tasting chicken in a watery black bean like sauce. Returned whole meal to shop and owner was extremely rude, Shouting ‘ that’s what ribs should be like’ ??? I beg to differ.

Noodles were amazingly good but Satay sauce tasted like vinegar, not like any Satay sauce I have tasted before and I have had a lot and never before met one I did not like. Sauce was dark brown and very runny and so bad it went into the bin. The chicken was either overdone or underdone, was afraid to eat it so it went into bin too. I did phone HOT WOK but they seemed unconcerned and said that was their Satay sauce. Not very good customer relations. Will not use them again. Still happy with Just Eat though.

Ordered £15 worth of food on just eat only for driver to take it to the wrong house, called the shop and the woman was no help at all, told me to go looking for it and they won’t replace or refund. I wouldn’t have even gave one star but had to so I could post a review. Certainly won’t be using just eat or noodle bar again.
