I had a beautiful fish supper from Hollywood Fryer. Everything was cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend this chip shop.

We went on a Friday night for our dinner. Couldn't have enjoyed our food more. We ordered cod, haddock, sausages and chicken goujons and all of them were lovely. The chips tasted really good. Ordinarily I wouldn't be a fan of fish and chips but this was so good. Will definitely be back

Badged and priced as a high-end fish and chip shop (£12 for a fish supper) we found the food very average. A cash only establishment, it would have been helpful if they could have mentioned that on the door. As you only get told once you have placed your order that cards are not accepted. There is a cash machine next door. With quite a lot of people waiting in the queue I asked if I could place my order first and then go to the cash machine. Was told I would need to go to the cash machine first. Came back a few minutes later with the cash and had to wait while a phone order had rang through. Of course not accepting card payment, the phone orders are accepted without payment and are told it is cash on collection. I’m not sure why phone orders can be placed without payment, but mine wasn’t accepted until I went to the cash machine first. Definitely wasn’t worth the 25 minute wait.

People have said that the food was great i personally thought it was poor, i got chicken goujons they supposed to have breadcrumb's you needed a hammer & chisel to cut through them, my wife got sausages & chips the sausages were burnt & my granddaughter got chicken nuggets & chips she threw her nuggets away all three meals were thrown away to the seagulls and even the gulls wouldn't eat it that's how bad it was.

Very good. Nothing too greasy and reasonably priced. Had used here on and off over the years when it was Holywood Fish Cafe. Recommend

Had higher hopes for this place which has new management and name. I ordered scampi as I had saw a pic on FB and it looked good. Place was busy so I waited about ten minutes after ordering from a youngish male flushed looking youth. The scampi came with some free chips. The scampi may have been good but was over powered by a hard crispy oil smelling batter. Price was around a fiver, so fair enough. Staff were rough and ready but friendly. Place was clean with view of kitchen. Probably OK for burgers, sausages etc but this time not great. I will try again.

The young blonde girl looks like she’d rather be anywhere but serving customers. Very sour !! It changes the whole experience

First time visit for us but daughter and husband had been here before and thought we would like it, and we did. It’s a small venue so would assume that booking a table would be essential. The restaurant does small plates of food as well as a few larger choices. We went for the small plates and had about 5/6 between the four of us. Great variety of tastes amongst the dishes which included a whole plaice, chicken skewers, green beans (so good we had an extra portion) smashed and fried new potatoes. It’s a little noisy but a good atmosphere, our waitress was friendly and chatty and knowledgeable. They apparently have a steak night once a week which we might do on the next visit to NI.
