Very friendly and efficient staff, with a lovely brunch menu. The smoked salmon bagel hit the spot, as did the coffee and the hot chocolate!

Very nice coffee shop. As a coffee lover I do appreciate a nice coffee....Very nice coffee & very nice lunch (On the Edge organic sourdough with veggie toppings!). Well worth a visit.

My partner and I stopped for lunch / coffee today on the way to a weekend break. We were blown away by the service, friendliness and the way they helped to take care of our whippet puppy. The food was also excellent (highly recommend the beef brisket sandwich) and the coffee was great. I highly recommend!

The cafe itself is lovely and staff are super friendly. Coffee is ok, however food is basic and overpriced. I payed £12 for the mackerel which was a very small (side salad) portion, and very basic. The other menu items were also very basic and small portions. Would return for the coffee - but definitely not for the food. I can see the vision for this cafe, however I think the menu items need to be improved or the price reduced

Always a warm welcome and attentive service, with a relaxed vibe. Food cooked fresh to order. I had a smoked salmon bagel that was delicious. The brownies are perhaps the best I’ve ever had and I’ve tried a lot of brownies. Worth travelling for!

Despite high rating I wasn’t impressed, mostly with the attitude which lacked the supposed friendliness that the café is attributed – not least by themselves. I ordered a BLT sandwich and my friend the Smoked Salmon and Avocado sandwich. When my “sandwich” arrived it was actually in a sourdough bap. I’m not overly fond of buns and baps as they can be quite bready and dry but if I had wanted one I might have well ordered the bacon in a sourdough bap option. Anyway, bringing this to the attention of the server she told me “No, this is your order, it is correct.” I didn’t want to be difficult but felt it needed to be said that typically, a sandwich was a filling between two pieces of sliced loaf and this was clearly a bap or bun. The server looked me in the eye, obviously miffed, told me I was wrong - and that in her opinion – in her opinion mind - my bap was a sandwich. She then turned her back to walk away from me. I reached out and tried to engage with her again on a friendly level to acknowledge that some people might call it that but this wasn't usual but she wasn’t interested. My friend and I just ate up and left. Food for thought, my lettuce and 2 slices of tomato with way too much mayo cost an additional £2.50 over their own sourdough bacon bap. And my friend who ordered the salmon and avocado did actually get a sandwich but soon realised that salmon and avocado is great on toast but not in a sandwich - unless you like mush. In conclusion, even if the food had been brilliant, the attitude was all wrong. Won’t be going back I’m afraid.

Stopped in Colwyn Bay for a bite to eat on-route to Anglesea, and found this on Tripadvisor. A haven of all the right things we were looking for. Excellent coffee and superb sandwiches. I wish there was a place like this on all our stopovers!

Nice little cafe. Feels quite sophisticated especially as it doesn't have the chintz of some cafes. Simple meals done very well. Even the coronation chicken sandwich - nice modern twist with lime in the mayonnaise. Cut through the richness. Tea and coffee very nice and staff friendly.

Had the Haus full breakfast,oh my word ,it was amazing and so filling.Lots of lovely different flavours 👍What a gem of a cafe .Staff are so kind ,friendly and funny .I like my eggs really hard ,they were perfect .Try this place once and I promise it will be your new favorite place to eat ! Visited Haus last thursday after not being in for a few weeks .Was greeted with a big lovely smile off the young girl behind the counter "We have not sern you for a while .Are you okay? Nice to feel you are not just a number and you are remembered😊Had my usual or soughdough toast,peanut butter&banana .Which I love and I then decided to finish off with a lovely looking Victoria sponge ,with fresh cream and jam 😋oh my it was perfect 😍So fluffy and tasty👍best victoria sponge I have ever had .Only negative is the stairs up to the toilets but as I am improving with my health .I managed them pretty well this last time .Fab little cafe to visit and good prices too 😊

We stopped in for brunch today with our 2 year old and our dog. Brilliant friendly staff, lovely atmosphere, delicious coffee and food (highly recommend the Haus breakfast!) and really dog friendly. I would highly recommend Haus, we will definitely be back next time we are in Colwyn Bay.

Great coffee, great food and service was on point! Only downside was no high chairs for a baby so was a bit awkward trying wrestle my son whilst eating my food.

HAUS is the best cafe going, honestly between the atmosphere, the staff and the drinks and food you can’t go wrong. It’s so friendly and welcoming, the staff always going out of their way to chat. And the drinks and food are incredible; the French toast is to die for! This is now my go-to cafe to just relax and unwind!

Me and my partner Jane have been calling in Haus occasionally for 3 years now. We went in early March 2023 and we ordered a HAUS full breakfast and a vegetarian breakfast. We'd previously had various items from the menu, but never the breakfasts. There are cheaper breakfasts around, but at £10 a time the price is absolutely value for money for such a culinary experience. The 'Blue Ribbon' award for food is well earned. Well done Chris and Marita.

I went here because my usual cafe was full. It felt warm and inviting and I had a cappuccino and a ginger caramel cake both lovely. I thought prices were moderate. You'd need to check but when I went about 2pm they were only serving drinks and cakes...not sure why? They allow well behaved dogs and I met a couple of very friendly ones 🐕 Staff are friendly. There are toilet facilities for customers but its upstairs. I doubt if they have a lift so it may not be suitable for disabled or if you find steps a challenge. Overall lovely and clean and efficient. WI FI ACCESS: YES I will definitely be returning Well done 👏

Food was cold and really expensive. Not sure if they know what a flat white is but what they served me was just a coffee with milk. It used to be really nice but massively gone down hill.

Such good food and friendly staff. It's so nice to have proper vegetarian options that aren't just 'fake meat'. So good!

Barista quality, varied and interesting hot drinks menu; matcha, turmeric and spiced chai latte. Can recommend their flat white and V60 too. Delicious homemade cakes. Menu that is both healthy and a treat - not an easy feat! Super friendly service. Dog friendly. This place is a gem!

Regularly stop by here for food and drinks Great coffee, alternative milk, great tasting decaff, brilliant range of teas Lots to choose from on the main menu from tasty sandwiches to an awesome brunch. The specials are exactly that. Very special. The cakes are lovely and the only issue is choosing which homemade beauty to try Dog friendly also which is a huge bonus Great value and portion sizes. Can’t refinement enough.

Friendly, inviting, great atmosphere, great food with fresh ingredients

A bit disappointed definitely considering this place came up in the Independent Coffee Guide in 2021... Nice decor/vibes inside but the coffee really wasn't as good as I was expecting. My decaf latte arrived way too hot, not tongue burning hot thankfully, but I had to wait at least 15 mins for it to cool to a pleasant drinkable temperature and it'd lost some sweetness. Strength/texture was good but it had a funny taste near the end, not sure if this was the decaf or milk but either way not good. But, still better than most coffees you find on the high street, hence the 4 stars not 3.

I have visited HAUS on few occasions. Great food, great coffee, good selection of lovely cakes. The setting and atmosphere is cosy and chilled, with friendly and helpful staff.

We came to Haus on a family holiday. One of my favourite cafés ever. The staff were so lovely and interactive with my children. Food and coffee was outstanding, I highly recommend.

Haus is one of our favourite local coffee shops! The coffee is always on point and the service is fab. Marita is always so welcoming. We love that it is dog friendly too and has some pretty awesome self Inflating Dog Beds in there 😉 so our dog has somewhere comfy to chill.

First time visiting and will definitely be back! Such a lovely cosy cafe. I had a cappuccino which was really good and we both had brownies which were absolutely delicious! I had my little girl with me (18 months) who managed to knock over a display with coffee beans going everywhere much to my embarrassment! The lady serving could not have been nicer about it though and told us not to worry:) The breakfast menu looks really good, so will be visiting again soon.

What a lovely cafe. I had a dark hot chocolate with cream and Brioche French toast with yogurt and banana. It was really delicious, sweet and crispy, lovely presentation, the staff obviously put a lot of care into making it as nice as possible. Pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. I would thoroughly recommend Haus to anyone wondering where to eat in Colwyn bay.

Such a relaxed and warm atmosphere i almost started writing a series of books about a wizard.

Not the cheapest in town but you get what you pay for. Coffee some of the best around. Food limited choice but tasty offerings try the breakfast and the cakes. Specials most days. Marita and the front of house team always accommodating they try their very best even when busy. Cannot recomnend enough

Haus is a beautiful cafe with very friendly, personable staff. A wide of range of brunch options with all seven of us choosing something different and receiving an excellent meal. The staff accommodated our increased party size with no problems. Would recommend going out of your way to visit!
