Brilliant dinner out. Saturday night around 6 o'clock we hadn't booked but that was no problem. They were busy but it felt so relaxed. I had the honey chilli combo with noodles and the husband had curry combo with chips. The food was delicious, size was generous. I had a french martini for dessert and was perfectly made. Staff were friendly and couldn't do enough! Will definitely be back!

I went to Harmony Palace last night for the first time with my family as a birthday treat. We got the sharing platter for two to start, I was unsure about the thought of crispy seaweed but it was surprisingly delightful. For the main I went for the Honey chilli shredded beef, portion size was perfect, the rice was light and fluffy and the sauce was really nice however the beef was really overcooked making it very hard and chewy. My partner went for the Pad Thai and thoroughly enjoyed it. The restaurant was warm and comfortable and was quite busy. The staff were really nice and very accommodating. It was just a shame that we were placed next to a rather loud and overly obnoxious family but that was no fault of the restaurant. The time taken between starter and main was quite long, in excess of 30 minutes but at 6pm and a Saturday evening I guess that can be expected. Prices were very reasonable also. Overall the experience didn’t really live up to the expectations we had from recommendations but it was not terrible by any means and I would visit again (when the abrupt family of Neanderthal’s aren’t there) to sample something different from the menu.

Staff Very Friendly, great food good portions, nice atmosphere, parking at rear, can obtain Alcohol, Child Friendly.

Service was extremely poor the evening we visited Harmony Palace, One person on the bar and had to keep reminding staff about drinks and food that had been ordered but hadn't arrived. Food could have been warmer, one waitress again serving a large table, back and forward with mains while people waited on their sides etc, not sure I would go back!

Normally order from this location as they offer gluten free food. Order times aren’t usually an issue but on Saturday 17th February I ordered and was told my order would be ready in 1 hour and 10 minutes - I arrived after this time to find out my food hadn’t even started being made. Talked to the manager to see what he could do for me for the inconvenience and was told that he could give me a bottle of juice for free - £1 or £2. To top this off there was 20 other people waiting with many saying they had been waiting for over an hour. Pathetic - don’t think I’ll be back

Had an amazing night at harmony palace. The service was outstanding and the food was even better. We where very well looked after. It was my 30th birthday and they brought out a cake for me and sang happy birthday. Could not fault the place at all. Will be back and will be recommending it to everyone I come across Thank you for such an amazing dinner.

We celebrated my husband’s 70th birthday here last night. I cannot recommend them enough. Food was excellent and staff were so friendly. I celebrated my birthday here too and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Well done Harmony Palace 👏🏻👏🏻🥳

Really like this chinese but placed an phone order for delivery at.7.10pm and was told.it would be an hour, had to phone them at 8.50pm as we were starving to be told would be another 15 mins, delivery at 9.30 not acceptable

Use Harmony Inn regularly unfortunately didn't have a good experience new years eve 2023. Place order by phone was told one hour wait which is understandable however didn't expect to wait nearly 3 hours & when home discovered food was wrong. Might need to rethink before using again, just wish Harmony stopped taking orders at some stage during the night. Diners in restaurant not happy it was taking so long even to put plates on the tables !

I have been looking for my new local Chinese takeaway since moving to Belfast and I think I've found it! We ordered here after seeing loads of great reviews online. The service was super efficient for a Friday night; food ready within 25 mins of ordering. Really fresh delicious food, the spring rolls were amazing! My housemate is vegetarian and really loved the vegan chicken option.

Great Chinese and always very busy.

Ordered at 4.30pm for an 8pm pickup and when I arrived and paid was told it still wasnt ready. 9pm comes around and still no food along with plenty of other unhappy people waiting. Asked if I could get my money back so I could go elsewhere after 45mins and was told i couldn’t? Finally got my food at half 9 even though there where other customers ordered after and were served before, really disappointed in the service of the place tonight as the people who had ordered long in advance for times weren’t given any sort of priority to those who did.

Went in this evening with my boyfriend absolutely incredible service a guy servicing was so lovely! and kind very welcoming and warm, couldn’t ask for better. we also got 2 brambles amazing! 😍 so yummy exactly how i like them with brilliant presentation. starter and main was beautiful and served very well, curry and salt chilli chicken, with duck as the starter. will definitely be back best restaurant we have been too in ages! thankyou (: xx

Went here on Saturday night for my daughter-in-law's 30th birthday. The food was amazing and the service was 2nd to none. Nothing was too much trouble. We had 4 little ones in our party and they were treated like royalty. Will definitely be back.

First impressions is that it is a professional operation. Stopped by to place an order in person to takeaway. Staff were friendly. The restaurant was busy for sitting in and takeaway, which caused a delay in our order, possibly overlooked. Food came in a fancy bag. Curry and chow mein were nice, but the chicken peking was disappointing. I would go back and would consider dining in. They accept card payments, which is really handy.

Called in as last orders were being taken. Didn't have to wait long for the carry out meal.

Haven’t been to Harmony Palace in a long time and last night we decided to pop in en route to a show at ‘Theatre at The Mill’ as we would be passing by. 4 of us, and we arrived just after 5pm (we hadn’t booked). How lovely it is now - the restaurant has definitely had a ‘face lift’ since my last visit, and the decor was clean and fresh. The fish tank was spotless too! We enjoyed the ‘craic’ from our waiter, who might I add, was very personable & professional. The wine was perfectly chilled and the complimentary prawn crackers were crisp and welcome. 2 of the party ordered pork fillet which came with lashing of gravy, chips and petit pois, mushrooms and onions on the side. 1 lamb curry went down equally well and my sweet & sour chicken Cantonese style was tangy, and just the way I like it (boiled rice served separately. Each plate was hot, the food well presented and perfectly served. As it happened we knew a party of 3 who entered the restaurant just behind us (hence the photo doesn’t reflect our order! The pic shows some kind of chicken & rice, pork fillet & sweet chilli chicken. Our colleagues informed us that their started of spring rolls and desert of chocolate fudge cake were delicious too. So, 10/10 from them (and us) …. Cant’t be at all bad! Thank you folks - we wish you continued success, and will return! P.s. I don’t think I have ever seen a carryout as busy… the restaurant was more or less fully to capacity by the time we left - oh, around 90 minutes later!

Drove quite a bit to get to this Chinese and it was well worth it, they double bagged it and was still steaming hot by the time we got home. The food was phenomenal and they staff were amazing as they ensured we had the correct items before we left the store offering us prawn crackers and a drink on the house! It was genuinely the best Chinese I’ve had in Northern Ireland ever. Everything you order looks like so much time and effort and been put into your food to make it the best it could be; even the meat was falling off the bone 🤤

Well what can i say, first time trying this place and it defo wont be the last. Five of us sat in, 4 adults and 1 child, the staff were very attentive without being over bearing, the food was amazing, we didnt feel rushed at all.

We have enjoyed getting from harmony for the passed few years, food is 5 star but unfortunately we had an unpleasant delivery diver, we havnt had any issues in the past, and beacuse this driver couldnt find the house which was at the top of our lane, they rung me to get me to walk to the bottom of the lane as they didnt want to drive up the lane, and they were very rude to my partner to move his car out of the way, he was kindly waiting so they could find the lane! Plus cheekily said to my partner do I not get a tip then!! This is no way to deal with a paying customer, sorry but we wont be back.

Got a chicken curry and chips the chicken curry was very tasty but when I took the chips out of the bag there was hardly enough to fill a child for this reason I won't be back I would rather go to the Silk and get a proper meal and cheaper as well from a lost customer

Food was good but place cold , customer's sitting with coats on eating .Took away from enjoyment, couldn't wait to get out and home to some warmth. Need to turn heat up in restaurant to make experience more comfortable.

Had fab 30th birthday meal tonight. Didn't tell staff but they pulled out all the stops with icecream and choc cake for birthday girl. Great portions, piping hot and all delicious. Staff brilliant with our 4 year old grand daughter. Also very understanding of gluten free requirements. Usually have take out from here but sit in excellent.

Unfortunately my usual 5 stars have now become 3😔been going here quite sometime now,but food has changed 😕 when we go for a sit in meal it's a treat which we've always enjoyed,but last 3 visits haven't been great,it's not the staff there brilliant it's the food and also the price increase,Unfortunately 3 strikes we'll have to start looking for another sit in Chinese

We're very fortunate that it's right across from us, but the set meal is great value in these pricey times. Sitting in always seems subdued and the atmosphere very quiet, but the service is excellent. Food is always hot, consistent and tasty.

Was here for a birthday dinner last night, amazing food, staff were lovely and really good craic. The service was 10/10 and the barman made an unreal old fashioned, the expresso martinis were great too! Will be back :)

Food is lovely but has got too expensive over the years the recent change of a £40 spend for free prawn crackers is a bit ridiculous.

Mixed views . I ordered spring rolls , chicken and sweet corn soup , rice , sweet and sour prawn , veg cashew . Price came to £32 including delivery . I was delivered filo prawns which were soft and sweet and sour chicken which was tough and so sweet I couldn’t eat Most of the meal was ice but not amazing.I thought expensive for what arrived .

First visit to a place that we have passed countless times. Staff welcoming, friendly and very attentive. Place was busy and the Food was excellent, however the long wait between our starter and main was a disappointment. Staff were apologetic and were compensated for this, so the evening ended well.

One of the best Chinese in Belfast. Get take away out of here regularly and never disappoints. One recommendation I would suggest is move to an online ordering system, it can sometimes be impossible to get through on the phone line on Friday or Saturday evenings.

Excellent restaurant to both eat in and takeaway. Food here is by far the best of any Chinese restaurant in the area. Service is excellent, very friendly, attentive and welcoming staff which ensured we were seated and served quickly. No matter what dish I have had from here, I’ve never been disappointed. Always consistently well cooked and presented food.

Food is absolutely delicious! Honestly though, the best part was being served by Sean and Jason. Both lovely, and couldn't do enough for us and our toddler. Genuinely just such a pleasant pair and made the experience so much nicer. Normally when you go out for a meal the waiting staff are nice, but Sean and Jason brought nice to a new level! Excellent Chinese! At last a Chinese that has good proper real potato chips. Have tried a few dishes, all very good. Good amount of vegetables in the chowmein, which is excellent. Would recommend.

Staff didn't seem to understand the menu. Lots of issues while ordering - came home and order was incorrect. Staff seemed very sharp and were most rude to a homeless man who came in to ask a question. Food was basic, preheated chinese - mine was covered in curry and not the gravy that I had ordered. Wasn't possible to eat inside as the only available table was rocked like I've never seen before. Poorly maintained sit in. Wouldn't recommend

Best Chinese meal ever, from wonderful attentive staff to varied menu , fabulous well cooked food , Irish coffee made to perfection , and delicious simple dessert. Relaxed atmosphere and special little extras chocs ,sweets and hand towels

Maybe down to new staff…My Dad didnt recognise the girls at reception. Those bringing food out from kitchen only ask for a name for telephone orders. They should ask counter orders what food they ordered or take a name. My order went into the “oven” near the bar which isn’t that warm (I checked) for at least 20 minutes before someone double checked it. Time for a change. Using HP for 3 years. First really bad experience. Btw no pineapple or green pepper in sweet and sour sauce? Wudn have happened in Dragon Palace or Ruby King!!!

Just collected our meals from Harmony Palace..while having soup my daughter had a very unpleasant shock...she found to her horror that she had been trying to eat what I could only describe as a piece of a metal pot cleaner..she said it had almost broke her tooth..when ringing to complain it seems their manager takes it upon himself to personally insult their customers by indicating that this is a ploy to get free meal...every week we get at least two takeaway meals...this is not the first complaint in this restaurant...a few times meals have either had parts missing and this is hardly the customers fault...however this manager persists mentioning these times...surely if your giving customers short orders but charging for full meals ordered, why make it sound as it’s the fault of the customer?...I do admit their sit in meals are first class...however this does not happen with takeaways..out of sight out of mind springs sounds about right..

I have eaten takeaway from this restaurant many times and have never had a problem with quality or service. Having read some of the negative reviews below-they are the total opposite to what i have experienced. If the reviews below are fair and balanced then fair enough,but i do feel they're extremely harsh. Perhaps the Restaurant have taken too many orders at times,but at a time when the Hospitality industry is in a precarious situation-can you blame them?! Keep going Harmony Palace-5/5 from me!

Even though this is a Chinese Restaurant I decided to have some Thai food.. I decided to go for the special Massaman Thai Curry and it was delicious. Would definitely recommend a visit to this place..Mine was a takeaway but will go back and use the Restaurant

I ordered Chicken Curry with Fried Rice, what I got was Fried Rice and something 🤔, it was dark (meat?), no curry, I called them ,they tried to convince me it was my mistake, eventually the send what I originally ordered, Chicken Curry with Fried rice, I tried to post a photo of what they sent me so as someone might enlighten me on what the dark meat was on the first order but they don't allow photos to be posted as per your reply it wasn't a he who took my order, it was she, I never ordered Chicken with Fried rice in my life, I always order Chicken Curry, & Fried rice I never knew Chicken to be dark meat as that was what I got on the first order you sent me, don't try to blame me suggestions it was my fault, and Yes, it was SHE and not a HE who took my order, stop lying on here by suggesting I was my fault. The mistake, ( fault) lays fully on your Staff for not understand me, and by the way, you weren't near HER when SHE took my order, she left the phone down and and asked me to Hold on until SHE went to get you.

I just had a delivery from Harmony Palace. On time but the worst chicken Chow Mien I have ever had, ever! Nothing more than chicken pieces and dry noodles. No vegetables, sauce, sprouts, nothing!my son had a chicken satay which was so spicy he couldn’t eat it. It actually made him sick 15 mins later. I use to use Harmony Palace but as lockdown eases it has got worse. This was a terrible experience and not worth the money. So disappointed in that standards have slipped for this restaurant, so poor. I definitely do not recommend it and advise all to go else where!! Disgusting!!

I wouldn't normally write a review for a Chinese restaurant especially not a carryout. But - The meal I had on Friday night was especially tasty. It stood out from what you would expect. If you want a Chinese meal I recommend the Harmony.

Sitting at 8 45 pm waiting to pick up a delivery !!! I placed my order at 6pm tried ringing to see if delivery on the way phone off hook just rang out .I drove to restaurant to find out where my order was they said order nearly ready and had to sit and wait 40 minutes to collect an order I wanted delivered . Eventually at 9 40 sitting down to my carry out.dreadful and even after collecting noodles were cold very very poor service don't take delivery orders if you can't deliver

Went to get my preordered carryout tonight horrendous the restaurant took no responsibility for Covid health and safety no social distancing. There was a huge number of people crambed just inside the door. People were walking off the street for a meal while the people waiting for takeaways were left. They need to organise and have a system so people exiting or in for a meal are not pushed in with people trying to collect their food.

Food was completely bland and tasteless, how can you make a chicken curry taste of nothing? First time I have ever added salt to a Chinese takeaway and that couldn’t save it either. I’ve eaten in most of the Chinese takeaways in the area and this is the worst by a country mile, I think we threw out more than we ate.

Tenemos su banquete y cada vez nos quedamos impresionados y complacidos con la comida, el valor y el servicio eficiente y amable. Por eso volvemos.Estuvimos allí anoche para aprovechar el último día del descuento de COVID del gobierno; como se esperaba, el personal estaba siguiendo las reglas de seguridad correctas. ¡Recomendado!

El restaurante estaba muy ocupado a la hora del té. El personal seguía pidiendo disculpas por la demora, pero sentí que el ritmo era bueno. Un descanso entre el entrante y el plato principal fue bueno.El entrante de marisco mixto con salsas de chile estaba delicioso. Kung po cerdo y cordero chisporroteando con cebolleta y jengibre bien. El único inconveniente fue que los lados no estaban incluidos en los precios, que de todos modos eran altos. 3. 50 para arroz y 4. 50 para fideos es demasiado. El personal limpió las mesas y sillas después de su uso y muchos desinfectantes de manos disponibles.

Our first time there and we will be back !! I had the massaman curry which was lovely, chicken was so good it melted in my mouth. Partner had fillet steak which he really enjoyed. The staff was lovelly, they all had face coverings and gloves and still came up to make sure we enjoyed everything.
