Can't believe this place doesn't have more reviews, such a wonderful local shop that handmakes all these delicious Japanese baked goods fresh, with different batches of goods depending on when you go in the day! They do have awkward time hours but the quality and variations of things they have on offer makes it so worth it if you live nearby or even if you're visiting the Chiswick area and want a delicious and unique snack. Some of my favourites include the katsu sandos, and the 'monster cookies' melon pan that was so soft and fluffy despite the slightly hard, almost crunchy exterior that just ends up melting in your mouth. Perfectly sweet without being over the top and a soft flavour of melon, they have other options too like chocolate chip which is also delicious!

We tried all Matcha flavour with some others this morning at 7.30.:) The bun with spaghetti inside is really traditional, the bun itself tasted a bit sweet while the spaghetti is savoury. Match flavour breads all tasted well, but I prefer the cream one and the white bun one. The filing is superb, very natural and tasty. Not like the one I tasted from Japan Centre. Besides, we took away two buns: a chestnut 🌰 bun and a bun with apricot and yogurt cream fillings. They both tasted great! Unbelievable! That chestnut bun is the perfect combination of savoury and sweetness! The bakery serves also coffee and Matcha Latte, ans etc. Besides, they will help warm up the bun if you want to have it there, which I do suggest!

We live close by and we love the original flavours and the ideas in this bakery. Highly recommend, even if it’s just to try something a bit different.

2 Custard buns and a small Japan style loaf of 6 pieces of bread set me back £10. It gets its 5 starts however because it's worth it - very tasty.

This hidden gem in Askew road has the most amazing japanese treats. This is my to go place during my days-off in the morning. They have freshly made breads everyday. One of my personal favourite is the chocolate volcano, it’s a bite of heaven. AND, the Matcha latte! Super! I just hope they are open everyday.

Very friendly and cheerful staff. Although we went at the end of the day and there wasn’t much choice left, we got a little selection ( takoyaki bun, curry bao, croissant, milk roll, matcha volcano) to take away. The takoyaki bun was delicious ( tasted like the real thing in Osaka) and we enjoyed the rest of the pastries too They have won awards for a few things as the owner told us. Would love to go back earlier in the day when the full range of products is on display They are closed on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday

I visited Happy Sky Bakery back in May for the first time, and I was very impressed by their quality and the huge variety of their products. Their stock is a mixture of traditional breads, cakes and pastries, plus more modern flavours and designs that separate them from your standard Japanese bakery. During this visit, I came away with a ham and egg bun, the octopus and cheese bun, an octopus shaped hotdog bun and a chocolate chip 'biscuit' (similar to a melon pan). Everything was delicious, but of particular note is the ham and egg bun, which was easily the best I've tasted. The filling was very generous, with a good portion of ham and an overflowing amount of creamy mashed eggs. The octopus and cheese bun was also worth noting, featuring a pairing of strong, unusual flavours that worked really well together in a softly textured bread. Everything I tried was delicious, perfectly baked and very reasonably priced. To top it off, the staff were lovely! They were friendly and helpful, eager to offer advice and suggestions. Happy Sky is definitely worth traveling out of your way for and I can't wait to return!

Stopped in here for some quick food after our plane landed. We were both blown away by quality and taste from our big daddy burger. Our chef and host even gave us some good tips for travelling around

Always excellent and friendly service. The coffee is top class - by far the best in the local area. It is a real community cafe

This is a cozy little sushi bar tucked away in the back of a slightly dodgy looking building. The place is family run and the chef used to work at nobu and sushi samba - there are quite a few dishes
