Happy Chef in Darlington

Ordered from here a few times but last nights was exceptional, ordered the deluxe munch box , king prawn balls with chips , char Sui chow mein , came with curry sauce , sweet and sour and sweet chilli and prawn crackers , all piping hot and plentiful , if you haven’t tried here please do , you’ll not be disappointed 👌

Always brilliant food from very friendly staff.They cook Chinese food which is top of the pops in my book. Never ever let you down and delivery service prompt friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.

Don't normally aim for liver & bacon with chips. But they are the best there is in town from here. Reliable on time delivery and first class service. Will be using very regular from now. Excellent.

Recommended to me by my daughter and boyfriend, this will now be our takeaway of choice. The portion size was perfect, not too big but enough and it tasted better than any other Chinese we tried. Doesn’t take card payments but other than that it was perfect .

Really friendly staff and absolutely great Rolls made an ideal end to a wonderful night at the Theatre (watching the Full Monty)!!! Food was so good

Staying up the road at Travelodge. Called here because reviews seemed ok. Ordered my default meal of special curry, boiled rice and prawn crackers. Staff friendly and efficient. Chef here uses a different recipe for his curry sauce. It looked and tastes different to every other Chinese I've visited. I didn't enjoy my meal and threw half of it away. Shame.

First time I have been here and i thougt it was worth writing a review. We had two different curries and they were both very tasty. A different flavour of curry than the usual one. A pleasant surprise, Will definately go again.

Love Chicken curry and chips, well worth the price which is £6 per person, ask for a card and get bonus stamps , once your card is full you get 1 meal free

My husband got a chicken and chips from here. When he cut into chicken it was red and bleeding!!! Took it back and wont go their again!

The food is very good value, prices reasonable and taste of the food is lovely, big portions and always arrives on time and still hot! Spring Rolls are some of the best I have tasted along with many other delicious dishes. Staff are friendly and smiley and i would give this place a defo 8/10 nocking on 9/10!

My regular chinese takeaway since last year after a recommendation, food is delicious, spot on and portions are generous, staff well mannered and friendly. They deliver and the food arrives still piping hot
