Great North Pie Co, Kampus in Manchester

¡Me encontré con esta joyita de un lugar hoy y vaya! El servicio amable y sus pasteles son increíbles. Todo lo que teníamos estaba perfectamente sazonado también.

¡Un lugar increíble! Sí, solo hay cuatro pasteles en el menú, pero hacen cada uno de ellos perfectamente. Los bandos iban a morir. Teníamos el pastel de carne y un pastel de pollo, ambos sabían a locura, y añadimos queso de coliflor y los guisantes de jardín mushy, ambos eran perfectos. Muy razonable precio, gran ambiente y un servicio fantástico. Sin duda volveremos!

He estado comprando pasteles allí en los mercados locales durante muchos años, ya que son excepcionalmente buenos, así que pensé en probar allí restaurante. Esperaba más selección, ya que solo había cuatro pasteles disponibles, así que eso fue un poco decepcionante, se habían quedado sin guisantes y solo había una opción de pudín de toffee pegajoso para el desierto. El pastel era bueno como se esperaba y el servicio rápido y servicial. Creo que me voy a quedar a comprar en el mercado local y disfrutar en casa por falta de selección.

Excelente pequeño lugar. Un restaurante muy pequeño, pero sirve comida maravillosa, a un precio razonable. Escondido, así que no te lo pierdas

Qué gran hallazgo. Al llegar a Manchester y no querer comida rápida recurrí al Capitán Google para una recomendación, esto surgió a pocos minutos a pie del hotel. Absolutamente maravilloso! ¡Un bocado ligero no lo es pero por Dios es bueno!

Je me suis régalé avec une tourte au boeuf mariné, ainsi qu'une bonne bière locale ! Le service était rapide et le personnel sympathique. Attention cependant : l'établissement est tout petit, mieux vaut donc réserver à l'avance.

Gran pequeño restaurante de pastel, no lejos de Piccadilly. El pastel de ternera estofado estaba delicioso; había varias otras opciones, incluida la vegetariana. Hay una amplia gama de lados disponibles, incluyendo algunas deliciosas patatas fritas caseras o pasteles de puré y jardín encantador. Hay una cerveza local de barril. El servicio era muy amable. Los precios son razonables. Y... otra ventaja fue la música in-house: no los ritmos de baile habituales que encontrarás en muchos establecimientos "de moda", sino gente como Joy Division, T Rex, Buzzcocks, Pixies, etc. Lo único malo es... que es muy pequeño e imagino que a menudo lleno.

As a vegetarian I had an absolutely excellent onion pie and cauliflower mac. The other pies also looked very delicious. I appreciate the menu only having a few selections. That means they do all their food to perfection. Would highly recommend.

This small but perfectly formed NPC is a great addition to the other food venues at Kampus. The pies are still as delicious as the ones from Cumbria or the makers markets. Will be back

Great North Pie Co in Kampus, Manchester. Bloody brilliant, the food was fantastic and whilst not cheap, it's not too expensive given that it's is high quality food and a nice environment . Well worth a visit if you are into pie. The gravy tasted just like Christmas. I don't know else to describe it. 😂 The pickled red cabbage was incredible, better than any we have ever had. The cheese and onion pie was beautiful, fantastic shortcrust and top quality cheese filling. The homemade handcut chips were the real deal, amazing. The mash was also great and went so well with the gravy. Really can't fault the food, it was flawless. The dining space itself was very cosy, spotlessly clean and warm. The staff were all young, very friendly and clearly enjoy working there, the customer service was very good.
