we stopped by to have a break on the way to Dublin, tea and a cream cheese bagel for me and a pulled pork wrap and chips for my lovely partner. Went down a treat and no issues at all with the food. Toilet facilities clean as well. Staff "Jackie" served us and went the extra mile with an extra bagel. Many thanks.

Called in here following a recommendation. Pleasant but a little dated. The staff are extremely polite and attentive. The toasted Bagel with cream cheese was very tasty, although the tea was very average. I tried their Latte which was very impressive. Would definitely return here.

Had a lovely lunch here. It was full when we first arrived so they offered to keep us a table in 20 mins which was grand. We had a chicken goujon salad and a chicken goujon wrap both were delicious and came with a scoop of chips and some crisps. We had 2 coffees also and bill was about £14. The staff were very friendly. Their selection of cakes wasn't great and they were all wrapped individually in cling film which is off putting but we had no room anyway. Looking forward to visiting again the next time we are in Strabane.

I have been here many times,in comparison to local eateries this is above average which is why I am a returning customer, Staff manners and attitudes have really improved in recent months and the service from staff today was very good. The environment isn't ideal- very small, not many tables and on my last few visits upstairs has not been open But I accept there is little that can be done about the layout. Although menu limited the food is usually very good however portion size not big. (2 very small chicken goujons on my chicken goujon burger- looked very pathetic and scant). Chips are normally delicious however today they were shockingly bad- extremely hard And crisp (definately not in a good way) appeared to be reheated and reheated. Not acceptable to serve. Everytime I have been here the jars of water are warm which is another gripe of mine. Please chill water in future! Despite my bad experience today, it is likely I will return in the future as i am hoping today's disappointing food is a one off and am willing to give it another try as in this area there is not many alternative venues.

I have had previously poor experiences with this coffee shop but today I decided to give it a deserved second chance. As I arrived in at lunchtime today, I was met with a waitress who appeared disinterested and came across as downright rude. To add to this already abysmal experienced the vegetable soup I ordered had to be absolutely saturated with salt to come close to edible. Gray’s Tea Rooms will never get my business again.

This well run tea shop is a step back in time, the owners have managed to keep all the nuggets of history alive and also accentuate the heritage with fine bone mismatched tea sets.. all very becoming. The food is freshly made and everyone must try with raspberry and white chocolate scones. The menu has been created with everyone in mind and the food is fresh and tasty with all local ingredients. The place is alive with patrons, this is a testament to the consistent good food and service. Well done to the owners. Brilliant.

Have been here quite a few times. As usual food was awesome but really sloppy service. Daughter had toastie and chips. She almost had it finished when we had to ask where my mum's soup and my scone was..another wait and they arrived. Scone not heated as I had asked for so off they went again. Another few mins and finally got what I ordered. As I said food is always good but service just needs to tighten up a little.

I visit this tea room quite regularly. Today, 5th May 2016 at 3pm, my wife took me for a coffee. We sat at an empty table near the door. A young waitress asked us to move to a table at the rear of the tea room. We said we were quite happy with the table we were sat at. She said that was fine but if anyone else came in we would have to give up our table. Customer service or what!! I was shocked and actually wanted to leave but my wife said she was not giving up our table to anyone, especially as there were several empty tables. The people sat at the table next to us were shocked and actually commented to us about how rude the waitress had been. Today, 5th May 2016 was the last time I will ever enter Grays Tea Rooms. I can add to that each and every member of my family and every member of my wife's family. This place has been steadily going down hill. Today it hit rock bottom.

Visited here for first time today after hearing some really good reviews. It didn't disappoint that's for sure. My mum ordered the soup - tomato and red pepper. Had a little taste and it was yummy! My dad and I had scones and coffee - raspberry and white chocolate for him & cherry for me. Both delicious. Only small downside and admittedly I am being picky but they don't do refill on their coffees and when I has asked for a mug rather than a cup, it was teeney! Love my coffee to last my full scone although it was so delicious maybe I didn't allow any time anyway!! Thumbs up guys. Really good spot. Def worth another visit.

I live in Strabane and go here regularly because I love it so much. The tea room is set in a historic building which used to be the old printing press. The interior is stunning and so pretty - historic chairs, lovely lights, a fireplace upstairs. It's so relaxing! And the food is also really good - I'm a vegetarian and this is the only place in town that does a vegetarian burger and a delicious one at that. As well as main meals, there's delicious desserts to choose from and, of course, copious amounts of tea which comes in a quaint tea cup. I love this place and would highly recommend it!

I had an hour to kill in town while my car was getting a valet. So I decided to grab a coffee in Grays. On entering I was tempted by the lovely aromas from the kitchen and decided to order something more substantial. I was spoilt for choice with their vast menu and an array of specials. I finally decided on the open prawn sandwich and a pot of tea. I was certainly not disappointed with what was served, in fact I was pleasantly surprised at the spread on my plate which included a side salad with coleslaw and chips. I enjoyed every bite and the service was excellent. The staff are very friendly too and made me feel my business was appreciated. I will define be back another day.

Sandwiches were served on a Spiderman plate for my son (7) and a Peppa plate for my daughter (5) - they were thrilled and the sandwiches were devoured. It was due to one of the kids needing to go to the toilet that we went in and we were also feeling peckish. We ordered a couple of coffees and I think I spent about 10 minutes trying to decide which of the extremely tempting bun/cakes/scones/pastries/etc that I was going to eat. Each one looked amazing. After settling on a fruit scone and also a slice of cake (couldn't decide on one item) I really enjoyed both. The coffees were excellent also, rather than some cheap versions you'd get in a lot of cafes. The staff were very friendly and were chatting away with the kids.Overall, when in Strabane again it's definitely on our list of places to go for a snack.
