Such a lovely place, food was delicious and staff were great

Excellent starter and main course menu, food, and service. This was the second time we've visited and were not disappointed. Pasta was perfectly cooked, and hot meals were served on hot plates, which, to me, is essential. The dessert menu is limited but adequate.

The staff was very friendly, but the food was rather average. We ordered tiger prawns but were served regular prawns, which are clearly different. When ordering, we were told that any two items on the menu would be priced at £19.95, but at checkout, we were informed that only a starter and main course combination qualifies for the £19.95 set menu. Additionally, they mistakenly charged us for two set menus based on the two mains we ordered, making the total much higher until we pointed out the error and had the price corrected.

Seems to be owned by husband and wife. A nice Italian couple. We had zero expectations, only just found on Google maps, and very pleasantly surprised. The food is fresh and tasty. A very nice tomato sauce.

Dropped in lunch time having never been to either Gallinis or Swansea before. Excellent meals and wine, nothing too much trouble, the waiter Bass was friendly and helpful. Have no problem recommending this restaurant, perfect way to spendca few hours overlooking the marina

Fabulous deal on lunchtime, less than £16 for two courses

First time coming here this evening and I have to say I have tried quite a few Italian restaurants and this has to be one of the best I have been too. My and my partner both had starters mains and I had desert. The food had so much flavor and the desert was absolutely stunning. The service we had from the staff members was also incredible they couldn't do enough for you. If I could give more stars I would and as for the overall rating 10/10 for the service food and atmosphere. Highly recommend coming here if you are a lover of Italian food

I had the Calamari and the Linguine Amatriciana, both were amazing. The service was great, absolutely no complaints, will definitely come back.

Stopped here on a golf trip and craved Italian. What a great spot! Quick service too.

Service was great. Stopped with friends for lunch was quiet but had the dogs and was able to sit downstairs which was fab. Food was so tasty and very reasonable. Empty plates all round 😍

I had an excellent meal here, penne pasta with steak strips in a peppercorn sauce.

Went for a family meal - Three children and two adults Lovely, friendly staff helped with carrying pram upstairs. Made effort in being friendly to our two young children. Food was beautiful, we ordered the cabanora and my son ordered the chicken which he really enjoyed. The kids meals were good size potion and lovely too. Happy with great service snd will go back Highly recommended Best Italian food I’ve had in the UK!

Walk in for lunch without booking, welcomed and found us a table. Two course lunch was excellent and good value. Very helpful re mushroom allergy and substituted veg for chips as cooked in the same oil. Nice location and view. Happy to recommend.

Delicious fresh seafood dishes, mussels and crab ravioli are recommended, the gnocchi and chicken was also really tasty as were the homemade desserts. Fantastic food in a comfortable unpretentious setting. The lady who served us was lovely too. We will definitely be returning

Food was breathtaking. The seafood marina was really full of flavour and big portions. The service was great, only downside was the garlic bread cheese was a little hard. Lovely views Tip- for the shop- (should play music for nicer atmosphere)

Felt racially profilled, no attention paid to us but more to other customers who came after or before us. Spoke weirdly and kind of rude too Food is mediocre and not real Italian food. Tasted like a tourist trap restaurant in italy

Food was excellent staff friendly and welcoming. It was quiet but that was down to the time we booked 1800. Got busier as we were about to leave 2000. Over all excellent experience.

First visit tonight, but my new favourite restaurant in Swansea. The food, service and venue all fab, will def be back.

We tried Gallinis for the first time tonight and loved our experience here. Excellent customer service and tasty piping hot food. The tiger prawns were so tender and my husband enjoyed the pan fried cod. I Had the crab ravioli which was in a beautiful sauce. We hope to visit again soon when we’re in the area.

Busy place but great service. We pre-orded as it was a big party of us. Food was delicious. Clean and very welcoming.

Had a night in Swansea with my partner for something to do and gave Gallinis a try and what a good choice. Really nice place, friendly and helpful staff and great food. Would definitely recommend. The marinara linguini was 🤌👌🇮🇹

my fiancé and i booked a table here for a meal on valentine’s day and it was amazing, seriously couldn’t fault it. food was 10/10, service was 10/10, wait for food was short. had a lovely view of the harbour from the window next to our table and the staff had made an effort to make the atmosphere nice for all, all tables had a rose and candle at them. prices aren’t even considerably too high either. will definitely be back. thank you for a lovely evening :)

Really nice cosy restaurant. Recently, a group of colleagues visited Gallinis for a post Christmas meal. We had a wonderful welcome. The food was delicious with decent size portions. Due to the size of our party we pre ordered our starters and mains which meant that everything came out together. No one in our party (of over 20) had any issues with their meals. Will certainly be returning.

We have had christmas eve dinner there. Staff really friendly and helpful. Quite big portions and food was hot and nice. Gnocchi with mushroom and asparagus, and bruschetta - delicious plus nice wine. Excellent tiramisu but fudge cake not so great. Was not so busy so we had a dinner in nice atmosphere with lovely view.

Ate outside as we had a puppy with us. Husband ordered seafood pasta. I had no hopes after a terrible experience in a top rated Newport restaurant but this was a real redemption. Fresh and tasty no wierd old fishy flavours at all. Scoring low for service as there was a mix up with our food order. I asked if it's okay for me to only order a starter a husband a main as they had priced 2 course menu. They said it's up to us. 7 months pregnant I can barely finish a dish so was very happy about this. BUT of course they only brough mine without coming back to check on us. I didn't want the fuss of returning the dish so hubby wached me eat mine, then server came out to collect my empty dish still without the main coming out. I had to point out my husband is still hungry for them to bring it out! Just saying be very specific how you want things to be as they will not bother to thik about the details for you.

Fabulous food plenty of choice excellent

We had birthday meal here we all had different starters and mains and desserts and drinks and the food was fabulous the service was brilliant and we will be coming back.

From the moment you walk up the stairs dodging the holes in the worn carpet to checking out there laminated working man's cafe stye menu you know you made the wrong decision. To say the food is mediocre is being kind, from the microwaved vegetables to the overcooked duck the whole experience was a disappointment. Lots of good restaurants in Swansea unfortunately this is not one of them.

The diverse menu offered a tantalizing array of dishes, each a culinary masterpiece. The food was both delectable and beautifully presented, a feast for both the senses.

Good place to go, nice people and nice food

Apon arriving service was lovely. Friendly and accommodating. Ordered a 2 course meal. Starters came out quickly. Unfortunately the prawn cocktail was too vinegary and the fried brie wasn't fried long enough so the cheese in the middle was still hard and cold. Our mains came out way to quickly to have been made fresh. Partner only ate some of his pasta as it contained salmon and he was afraid of food poisoning. My meal was chicken stuffed with mozzarella and bacon in a tomato sauce. The sauce was nice but Unfortunately the chicken was tough like it had been reheated in a microwave. The potatoes weren't crispy and again tasted like they had been warmed in the microwave. All in all the food wasn't great and my partner did indeed end up with tummy trouble when we got home.

Nice lunch at Gallinis in Swansea Marina. Been a long time since I was last here but happy to say it's still good. Good menu selection with usual classics and some local specials. Had the lunchtime offer of 2 courses for £15 which had a good choice. Kids meals available too. Generous portions and delicious food. Enjoyed it and will be back.

My first taste on Italian food and they nailed it!! Well done! Plus you get to see the amazing view of boats, yatchs, docked opposite the restaurant.

This is not an Italian restaurant! Service was very poor, waitress was grumpy, went Sunday lunchtime which was quiet, my husband had the bolognese, clearly made with frozen mince and pinged in the microwave, I had the linguini which was more like pasta swimming in tomato soup, no one came over to check how our meal was, probably because they visibly saw me take one bite a move the full plate to the side of the table, 3 employees walked past giving angry looks because I didn’t eat it, when I asked for the bill the grumpy waitress asked what was wrong with the linguini and I said it’s full of water, she gave me a stinking look and walked away, safe to say I will never eat here again

Amazing evening. Went for a Birthday meal, spoilt throughly by a good friend and great company. Service was perfect, we both had seafood platters. Both very fresh and completed with chocolate cake and ice cream. Highly recommend, cannot wait to go again.

Came here as a group of eight and the experience exceeded our expectations. Service was very friendly and efficient, and the quality of the food was excellent. The decor is a little outdated but the restaurant is spotlessly clean, and the views across Swansea Marina are lovely. Highly recommended.

Great atmosphere and service. Lovely staff. Food was really tasty and plenty of it. Loads of choice on the starter and main for £20 or if you want to pay a bit more for specials, there is a vast amount to choose from. Can't wait to return! First class effort.

Superb food. All was very tasty and well made. You can tell it's home cooked with all the finest ingredients. Dog friendly and with a view to the marina. Deserts are OK.

Great little find, some really interesting and tasty dishes

Overall a very enjoyable experience. The decor is rather dated and feels more like a cafe than a very decent food destination. Very bare, feeling a little unloved and in need of a little effort e.g. candles, few pics of the locality, new tables and chairs that match the quality of the food. Food was superb and great value and the service matched this. Like I said a great lovely place but could be so much better 👏🏽

Our first time here. We will definitely be returning and recommending to others. The fish dishes were amazing and clean plates all round.

More like a café than a restaurant. They didn't ask if we'd booked which we had. We asked in advance if they did gluten free pasta, they did which was good. When we made our order we asked for one meal to have the gluten-free pasta. The waitress had no idea what that was and rushed off to check. We called her back, explaining we already knew. She was very grumpy. Our desserts took ages. It wasn't anything complicated. It was from a freezer or fridge ready-made, so what took 20 minutes we'll never know. No apology for the slow service. We don't mind waiting if someone explains why it's slow or apologies. Don't bother going the food isn't anything amazing I think it's all pre packed and put in a microwave to be honest.

Great restaurant on 2 levels, with marina views from the upstairs windows. Service was very friendly and efficient and food delicious. Duck in plum sauce and seabass filet in white wine creamy sauce with fresh mussels, both cooked to perfection as well as the delicious whitebait. We recommend all of these. We'll visit again.

Steak (peppercorn sauce), herby potatoes and vegetables...cooked to perfection. Cycled there and left our bikes outside on the railings. A successful date night with the wife!

Really nice Italian restaurant. Its run by italians, so very authentic. Menu has a few obvious British favourite Italian classics but not many, they work on specials of the day, along with their speciality Manzo dish which is superb snd served with penne or rosemary potatoes both delicious. There Tomato based pasta sauces are great, light and fresh, nothing like some main stream Italian restaurants which are rich & heavy. Generous portions. Only down side is limited wine options that can be bought by the glass rather than bottle. Never had a dessert as never had room left. Other down side no wheel chair access as restaurant is on the first floor via steps.

Nice food at a fair price. Fairly basic restaurant with hard surfaces so a little noisy if busy. Note the evening restaurant is upstairs.

Great food, beautiful view and friendly people.

Wonderful friendly service. The lasagna is outstanding as well as the sea bass. Homemade tiramisu was the best I have eaten. You won’t be disappointed with whatever you select to eat.

Just had another 1st class meal Baz as ever was charming and super helpful. I had the most perfectly cooked delicious fish platter after a delicious starter of Calamari with roasted garlic mayonnaise my husband had garlic mushrooms and spaghetti bolognaise. Highly recommend Gallinis for the freshest food. It’s a 5 star for food & service a rarity these days.

Great little Italian - Amy the hostess is truly a lovely person and a great bubbly personality. Joe the chef is great and provides excellent food. The wild mushroom and asparagus gnocchi was divine and the parmigiana was excellent(reminded me of one of the dinners I had in Sorrento and Positano). You can see why they are very busy as the food is very good!
