This is a wonderful little cafe set beside Free wheel North, bring the kids who can cycle round the large track for £2. Sit on the terrace and enjoying lovely food and great coffee along with an assortment of cakes. The banter is flowing with the staff Lorraine and Margaret! This is a great little not for profit charity that reinvests into looking after young kids, teaching them to cycle for those able to do so. There are also adaptable bikes, trikes and four seater bikes for those who require some more assistance.

It was a pleasant surprise when we stumbled across this family run cafe. We had coffee and cake which were both delicious! We will be making this a regular stop on our walks from now on. A real hidden gem within Glasgow Green.

My wife and I stumbled upon the Coffee On The Green. What a beautiful setting & the coffee was the best I’ve tasted in Glasgow.

Very welcoming and friendly staff. Popped in for a coffee while the kids played at the bike park next door. Warm happy atmosphere and the kids got a free Easter treat from the staff. Thanks again we will be back in the future

Food and coffee/ tea excellent. Always made very welcome from staff Margaret and Loraine. A pleasant way to start your day at Coffee on the Green. Will be back on Monday before my appointment in town. X

Breakfast is first class. Margaret and her mum are excellent cooks and are always very cheerful and happy. Jeff and Donna will be coming for breakfast on Friday so have your coffee and tea ready. X

There’s nothing better on a Sunday afternoon than a little time on the Green and then a tea or coffee. We had tea and their homemade cakes. This is a volunteer-run cafe as part of FWN in Glasgow. Have a coffee, help others.

Visited today for a takeaway coffee and left very disappointed to be honest. £3.40 for a tiny coffee which wasn’t even what I ordered due to lack of attention being paid. The lady seemed very rushed and I could see the wrong type of milk being used, as well as the syrup I had asked for being carelessly fired at the coffee from a distance and totally missing the coffee itself (couldn’t taste it at all). Card machine was plonked in front of me for payment and the lady serving rushed off leaving me just standing there. I tapped my card and didn’t even get an acknowledgment or goodbye 🤷🏻♀️ Lots of better options in the area with great customer service and far lower prices. Poor service and sadly won’t be back!

Chicken gyros with halloumi is very flavoursome and tasty. One of the best I've had. The portion is just the right size and the price very reasonable. Quick service with a smile and even the dog got a tasty treat. We will definitely return when next in the area. Highly recommend!!!
