Vicky at the f and bs retail park in falkirk was amazing. So friendly and sweet. She makes us want to return for the service alone!!

The waitress was really friendly and made my daughter and I's visit that bit better! Turns out she was a Dylan fan too! Such a pleasant and friendly person! Not forced or disingenuous, but friendly and genuine! Great touch F&BS!!

Kinga served us tonight as a walk in table for two, and she could not have been more warm, welcoming, helpful and gave great suggestions. Really excellent example of warm hospitality. Food was quick, delicious, steaks were cooked well and juicy and the pizza was light and fresh. Recommend the New York cheesecake. Many thanks! We’ll be back to use our voucher. x

Since when did Frankie and Bennys become so extortionate? Staff were lovely but took a while to even take a drinks order from us. When food arrived chips were rock hard and cold. Main meals were average and definitely not worth the price that we paid. Won’t be back unfortunately.

All of the servers are always so friendly and helpful especially Jenny who is always at the top of her game, amazing food brought out quickly every-time, I’m a regular because I love the atmosphere and the energy

Just back from another great meal at F&B Falkirk. Food was fresh, delicious and plentiful. Service was great. It’s always a pleasure to be served by Jen and Vicky.

Food over priced service so slow was a joke, waiting 1 hour for my drink which was a hot chocolate and was cold when i got it.no sign of food within that time. Never will I visit this store again, snails 🐌 pace. Cold hot drinks, not happy at all. Falkirk store

Myself and my partner went to Frankie & Benny Falkirk before we were going to catch a movie. 28th of december. We were seated very quickly which was good and our orders were taken also very promptly. However the staff who took my order misheard me and had placed the wrong order on my behalf. After a bit of a back and forth my order was brought out. However the chips were stone cold with no flavour and the £20 chicken burger was very dry and well tasted frozen. I left most of it. My partners meal which was a Carbonara was apparently quite chewy and flavourless despite her adding the extra pulled chicken option. After the initial complaint about the order it had seemed staff were avoiding our table. We left shortly after. It's no wonder why this chain of restaurants are on there way out. Bad food, bad attitudes and questionable prices. Give this place a miss, you'd be better served literally anywhere else.

I like to make my own mind up about places regardless of the reviews and I’m not a fussy person but the reviews were spot on. The staff were really nice however, the service was tremendously slow. Starters were good, then we waited about half an hour to 40 mins for the mains which was really disappointing. The food was so bland and this place isn’t cheap, chips were cold but that’s not a great issue for me. It was the taste of the food, it was soo disappointing. I’m not exaggerating when I say I’ve had better micro meals. You can see the chefs in the place cooking and think aw great this is gonna be good and what we all got was a really good portion but the food quality was shocking. Can honestly say I will never ever be back here. Everywhere I called today was fully booked, this place was pretty much empty and now I understand why. Still doesn’t make sense why the service was so slow, even for a drink. Just a bad experience all over.

Visited for my wifes birthday while on break in Scotland. Pre booked prior to visit and was kept updated with Emails including a reminder day before so I found that great help and relaxed the table secure. On arriving lovely greeting along with asking if any food allergies great start. We ordered steak meal and BBQ chicken meal and both excellent . Waitress was lovely ,polite and helpful. We engaged in a sweet my wife had the Strawberry Pavlova Sundae which was lovely and she really enjoyed. I had the Tiramsu and to be honest was disappointed to very small portion and flavour was sadly very lacking. However overall excellent and we will certainly revisit in the future . We came in for the £5 pizza deal. I hadn’t been in for around 6 years and was served by Jennifer H. She was really lovely and just made us feel special during service. I would come back again just based on Jennifer’s service! Thank you Jennifer :)

Walked in to an empty restaurant on Tuesday to be told we couldn’t get a table.. after asking the waiter who refused us entry why, we were told “ I am only on myself “ whatever that meant.. I can only assume judging by the amount of people seated he must cook the meals, and serve the plates, along with clearing tables, working the bar etc.. Frankie and bennies must be thriving if they can turn away guests in an empty establishment.. never the less I nipped along to a booming Nando’s that seemed to be run a lot more professionally for a lovely well presented meal..

Staff were amazing and friendly as always, we had the new bagels which was lovely and the restaurant was nice and clean!!

Excellent time, first time out since lockdown, worth the wait, service from the team from entering the restaurant to food delivery to the table welcoming and reassuring, JP the server excellent and attentive, top marks that man!

Well we all like to try new food but £7.45 for a giant mozzarella stck not even 6in long filled with what I can only say was more like a nasty cheese sauce inside didn't taste anything like a proper mozzarella stick. never again, don't waste your money folks

My girlfriend and I have been dining in Frankie and Bennys for many years now and we’re saddened when the Livingston restaurant closed down as it was our local. Since covid Frankie and Bennys seem to have been getting worse and worse portion sizes for the same or more money than before. It’s a shame as this is absolutely our favourite restaurant branch and we still try go once a month. Tonight we went and were seated straight away and asked what we’d like to drink, which was great. We got our drinks and then ordered our food. Whilst waiting for our starters, we both pointed out that we could barely hear the music (something we’ve always loved about this place is the music) which was then turned down even lower after a happy birthday song later on in the evening. Our starters arrived (BBQ wings for us both) and to our surprise the portion size seemed even smaller than the last time we were there. 5 chicken wings each with barely even enough bbq sauce for 3 wings, nevermind 5. The wings were also luke warm, not hot. Onto our mains. I ordered the medium rare steak and upgraded my fries to the bbq brisket fries and my girlfriend ordered the bolognaise. Her bolognaise was great, great flavour and no issues with the temperature. The only thing is that it had barely any meat and a lot of sauce. My steak was absolutely perfect, tasted amazing and was cooked perfectly to a medium rare. The fries were also stunning. Unfortunately they forgot my onion rings and I didn’t notice until I had already eaten most of my meal, so I didn’t say anything about it at the time. Overall I have absolutely loved Frankie and bennys over the years and it’s been sad to watch it decline and lose more and more restaurants. I really hope they can pull it together and come back to what they used to be, a New York Italian restaurant that couples and family’s could have a relaxing time and a great value meal.

Service was terrible went for my granddaughters birthday her meal was forgotten about slow to refill drinks dessert which was cookie doe wasn’t even cooked terrible and cost 175 pound u should be ashamed doesn’t even deserve a rating

Food not delivered. 2 calls to the restaurant who were lovely but just eat let it down. 2 hours after ordering it updated saying delivered. Whats the point in giving you a code if the drivers delivers give to someone else anyways. Not happy.

We had a lovely Pepperoni pizza and Spaghetti carbonara followed by desserts and they where great staff were very attentive especially Javier

My advice is to avoid. An utterly disappointing dining experience. I was not expecting silver service or fine dining but the service was shocking. Firstly to set the scene there was less than 12 people in the restaurant at the time. We ordered drinks. My glass it appeared hadn't been washed since the mid 90's. I had poured a 3rd of my drink before noticing the bits in the glass. We raised the issue. The staff member said would change the glass. 10 minutes later still no sign. So went to the bar to request the fresh glass to find staff member on her mobile phone. Glass replaced but no offer of replacing the drink. My other half went to use the facilities. Out of four toilet cubicles in the ladies none of them had any toilet roll in them. At that point she needed to make decisive action. Did she go to the loo then do a handstand underneath the hand dryer and risk getting 3rd degree burns to a sensitive area or steal loo roll from the disabled toilets. She took the latter decision. So apologies to anyone using that toilet who is left stranded as a result. When it came to the bill we had to ask for the cost of the drink to be removed. The body language of the waitress was such you would have thought the cost was being taken out of her wages. Food was edible. Couldn't have the garlic bread as the dough was too cold apparently. But pizza dough was fine. Save your money and your time and avoid it. Unless you need to buy a gift for someone you don't like then buy them a voucher!

Great service and great food as usual. Jennifer H was our waitress for the night and was absolutely fab. We were a group of 7 and She was so patient with us and checked in with regularly to make sure we were happy with everything. She also helped in bringing out a birthday cake for one of us after dinner and made it an even better evening. Thanks Jennifer! You were great!

My family and I visited the falkirk branch today for some lunch. My husband had bb chicken strips to start and then the chicken burger for main. I had garlic bread pizza to start and carbonara for main. My son had the kids burger and chips. The only issue my husband had was that he didn't like the chips. My garlic bread pizza was dry and tasteless, I could have started a game of Frisbee with it. The carbonara was very bland. The only think I could taste was the bits of bacon that was mixed threw it. It bacon was like rubber and very hard to chew. We have been to frankie and bennys a number of times through the years and this has to be one of the worst. The service and staff and excellent and the fact that the have no air conditioning is terrible. It is one of the hottest days so far and the staff have to endure wearing heavy clothes like denim, it wasn't a nice experience having to sit in the restaurant with what can only be assumed as a fire exit opened to let fresh air in.

Kind mannered staff. Fast service between taking order and receiving meals. Food was well prepared and very appetising.

First visit in years, really surprised how much this place has improved. Good meal, price was reasonable. Service very good, all the staff very pleasant and working hard, good team there.

We decided to visit as we couldn't be bothered to cook!The waitress was lovely and welcoming and quickly showed us to a table.She returned and took our drinks order,so far so good.The drinks arrived,my orange was a fair size but my friend got the tiniest bottle of Irn-bru i have ever seen!The food took ages to arrive despite the place being almost empty.It was nothing special.My hot dog was greasy and my friend had a pool of oil in his pasta bowl.We decided against a dessert.which was lucky as the bill was extortionate!The drinks especially were a ridiculous price and the card payment machine tries to make you leave a tip which i thought was a bit underhand.I wouldn't eat here again.

Waited 20 min to even get order taken then an hour for food to come did ask a waiter to check and upon him checking it came 5 min later Chips were barely edible unless want broken teeth as solid had 10 min to attempt eat food as had cinema booked thought giving ourselves hour and a half or so would be plenty time as well but instead rushed

Ordered a raspberry whiskey sour and it looked absolutely terrible and nothing like the photo and it wasn't raspberry and the orange on the top was brown and old and not fresh

I thought the potato skins dumped on their side so the cheese oozed out was bad but look at the state of that garlic bread. It's pure bogging and whoever thought it was okay to serve in that state should be ashamed of themselves. Chips weren't fantastic either. Only decent thing was the burgers but after seeing that garlic bread, I'm wondering what else passed the QC.

A return trip to this branch - not the last, of course. As to be expected, the food was great and our server, Louise, was doing a brilliant job. She seemed to be on her own, when there was a sudden rush of customers. She still managed to look calm and have a laugh with us. So the 5 stars for service are all hers. See you next time.

The service was terribly slow, waiting almost an hour for one course. The worst part however was the food; overcooked chicken, oily, like it had been sitting for hours, even the chips were like rubber. My only positive comment was our waitress was very apologetic and agreed to remove the mains from our bill after speaking with the manager (who didn’t bother coming over to speak to us). All of this when the restaurant was not even half full, I can’t imagine what it’s like at capacity! Overall not a good experience, especially when the Frankie & Benny’s close to where we live is excellent!

Not the usual standard from here. food arrived on time but the fries and garlic bread were stone cold. I have carbonara fettuccine but the bacon was obviously is short supply 3 pieces only. very disappointed, not sure I will be back.

I have visited this venue many times and i can say that the hospitality shown here by the front of house is next level. They really are smashing it here. Food always arrives quickly and the front of house staff can’t be more helpful and welcoming. I really feel comfortable and look forward to visiting Frankie and bennys Falkirk and that is thanks to the front of house staff. They interact with the kids and actually go above and beyond as one time I had explained that I had to leave the restaurant quite quickly and they even put my coffee which was in a mug in a takeaway cup for me without me even asking.

Understaffed all the time. Becoming unbearable to pick up from here. Get more staff and do better!

Really great service, the man who served us was very nice and helpful. it was around 2-3 pm on the Friday 29th March. Went with two young children and staff were very prompt and patient with them.

Got chunks of fatty, chewy cubes of some sort of meat instead of pulled pork. No sauce. Vegetables tasted rank, vinagary. I was told the fault is with just eat, like they prepare the food

Fantastic service from the moment we walked in, we were given a big table in the corner that was perfectly suited for our 2 year old son. Food was great and the children’s menu has a wide range of dishes to choose from. Outstanding service from our waitress Jenny, the barman Nathan and all the team who were all friendly and pacient with our son.

We made a last minute decision to come here for our sons 11th birthday. From the minute we walked in to the minute we left we were given absolutely amazing service. Unfortunately we didnt get his name but he went over and above to make my sons day special and couldn't have done anymore for us. We haven't visited this restaurant in over a year but we will definitely be returning soon. The food was lovely aswell.

Excellent service as always my girlfriend and I were celebrating our one year anniversary and had the cinema after dinner, we had a time limit and our server Vicky was absolutely fantastic our food came in perfect time we had such a laugh with her she was just amazing 🩷 definitely would recommend and definitely coming back 🫶

Celebrated my granddaughter’s 12 birthday meal at this top class restaurant. Warm welcome on arrival and the gentleman who served us went way and above to ensure it was a meal to remember. This gentleman couldn’t do enough to ensure all our food was cooked to our satisfaction. An employee that the owners should be proud off. All the food was cooked to perfection and the bill was reasonable. I certainly would endorse this restaurant with 10 out of 10 and would highly recommend a visit

Took our 6 and 2 year old for a birthday dinner. JP was a brilliant host, he made it really special for our little boys birthday. Lovely guy, great service!

Dinner for eldest son’s birthday, he was mortified at the idea the whole restaurant would sing happy birthday as we saw happening when we came in. JP spotted this and made sure we had a lovely quiet meal. Brilliant service from JP and the food seems to have gone up a considerable notch since our last visit over a year ago. Definitely will be back.

Good food (varied menu with gluten free and vegetarian options), great staff - friendly and available, nice place and well situated when in the commercial/retail park. Prices are fair and I would recommend.

The macaroni was not cheesy and the festive burger very greasy. Disgusting

Food was so good, especially the calamari! Fast service, never had to ask for anything. The service from JP was especially exceptional, he had us howling with laughter and made the night so special. Also found out that they have a promotion on that if you are booked to go to the cinema, there is a discount applied to your meal, if you show you booked tickets at Cineworld - which was a lovely little surprise.

Disappointing from the moment we entered. Had to wait longer than expected to be seated and the waitress took far too long to take our drinks order, despite the restaurant not being at capacity. When she did arrive we had already decided on our starters and main course and ordered everything together. The starters arrived but we still had no drinks, very embarrassing from a restaurant point of view. The starters were fine but the mains were way below par. Pasta was slimy and oily and contained only had 3 small meatballs. The included bacon was fatty and undercooked. There was not one single checkback from the waitress. Overall, a very poor experience and we won't be in a hurry to return.

Another superb family experience at F&B Falkirk today. Jenny from the F&B team was so welcoming, as has been the case on each and every one of our previous visits. On each visit, Jenny has taken the time to chat, and also to speak with our 2 year old daughter - making sure she equally feels just as welcome. Jenny let us know in advance of going on a planned break, and Amy took over - who also was very welcoming and made us all feel very relaxed. Just love this restaurant, and the professionalism of this team.

Wanted to give some well-deserved credit: whenever we come to F&B's we are always given a warm and friendly welcome by John Paul. He goes out his way to ensure we have a fantastic experience. We appreciate his hospitality and look forward to coming back :)
